Abstract

The rapid advancement of data science has made data processing a critical requirement across various fields, including education. Educational institutions are increasingly required to leverage available resources and information systems to enhance competitiveness and support strategic decision-making. Student achievement is generally assessed through both theoretical and practical subjects; however, determining achievement groups (very good, good, sufficient) often lacks efficiency, limiting early identification by homeroom teachers. This study applies the K-Means Clustering method to classify students' achievement levels at SD N Sanggang 03. The objective is to develop a system that assists teachers in grouping students based on performance categories—very good, good, and sufficient—thereby supporting data-driven decision-making in academic evaluation. The system was implemented using PHP and MySQL, with evaluation employing the Modified Partition Coefficient to measure clustering quality.

Abstract

Wali Barokah is one of the industrial furniture craftsmen (furniture) with the main material using teak wood. The development of the times has made many furniture entrepreneurs appear, making the competition between furniture craftsmen increasingly tight. One way for customers not to be disappointed is that business voters must serve customers according to the specified time when transacting. The attributes that will be used in classifying the production time are the name of the item, the number of orders, the difficulty, the equipment, the number of workers. The method that will be used is the the method Naïve Bayes Classifier. Based on the results of the confusion matrix test on the nave Bayes method of the dataset that has been taken on the object of research, an accuracy rate of 80% is obtained or is included in the category Good. Meanwhile, Precision is 83% and Recall is 88%.

Abstract

Selecting a high-quality used motorcycle is complex because it involves multiple assessment criteria, including price, engine condition, year of manufacture, mileage, and completeness of the vehicle documents. At Assalam Motor, selecting the best used motorcycle remains a manual, subjective process that can lead to suboptimal decisions. Therefore, this study aims to develop a Decision Support System (DSS) to select the best motorcycle for use using the Multi-Objective Optimization by Ratio Analysis (MOORA) method. The MOORA method is used because it can handle multicriteria problems by effectively distinguishing between benefit and cost criteria. The developed system processes data on used motorcycles according to predetermined criteria and produces preference values to rank them. The study results indicate that the developed decision support system can provide recommendations on the best motorcycle to use in an objective, structured manner, thereby assisting Assalam Motor and consumers in making more precise, effective, and rational decisions.
