Abstract

Cooking oil is a strategic retail commodity; fluctuations in demand and supply often make it difficult for store managers to determine order quantities and maintain cash flow. This study aims to design and evaluate a cooking oil sales forecasting model at a C&C grocery store using a Single Moving Average (SMA) as a simple, transparent, and easy-to-operate method. Historical sales data is processed over a short-term horizon; several SMA window orders are tested to balance responsiveness to recent changes and signal slippage. Model performance is assessed using Mean Absolute Deviation (MAD) and Mean Absolute Percentage Error (MAPE); validation results show a low error rate and accuracy above 80%, making it adequate as a baseline for inventory decision-making. As an applied output, the study developed a web-based application (PHP–MySQL) that facilitates data input, SMA calculation, trend visualization, and report printing, thus facilitating store staff in conducting periodic forecasts and setting reorder points. These findings confirm the suitability of SMA for the MSME/grocery store context, while also opening up opportunities for further development—for example, comparison with WMA/SES or integration with a safety stock module—to make ordering decisions more adaptive to market dynamics.

Abstract

Selecting a high-quality used motorcycle is complex because it involves multiple assessment criteria, including price, engine condition, year of manufacture, mileage, and completeness of the vehicle documents. At Assalam Motor, selecting the best used motorcycle remains a manual, subjective process that can lead to suboptimal decisions. Therefore, this study aims to develop a Decision Support System (DSS) to select the best motorcycle for use using the Multi-Objective Optimization by Ratio Analysis (MOORA) method. The MOORA method is used because it can handle multicriteria problems by effectively distinguishing between benefit and cost criteria. The developed system processes data on used motorcycles according to predetermined criteria and produces preference values to rank them. The study results indicate that the developed decision support system can provide recommendations on the best motorcycle to use in an objective, structured manner, thereby assisting Assalam Motor and consumers in making more precise, effective, and rational decisions.

Abstract

The limited conceptual understanding of geometry among students remains a significant challenge, particularly due to the lack of interactive learning tools and ineffective integration of digital technology in classroom practices. This community service program aims to implement web-based GeoGebra within a hybrid learning environment to enhance students’ conceptual understanding of geometry. The method employed a participatory and implementation-based approach involving 32 junior high school students and 2 mathematics teachers. The program was conducted through four stages: preliminary study, program design, implementation, and evaluation. Data were collected using pre-test and post-test assessments, questionnaires, and observation sheets. Quantitative analysis was performed using percentage gain and regression analysis, while qualitative data supported behavioral evaluation. The results show a significant improvement in students’ conceptual understanding, with an average score increase from 56.25 to 82.40 and a gain of 65.38%, categorized as moderate-to-high. Furthermore, 81% of students achieved the targeted level of improvement, and student engagement reached 87.6%, exceeding the success indicator threshold. Regression analysis indicated a strong positive relationship (R² = 0.68), suggesting the intervention's effectiveness across different ability levels. In addition, the program positively influenced students’ learning behavior and provided a cost-effective solution by using open-source technology. These findings indicate that integrating GeoGebra into a hybrid learning model is an effective and scalable approach to improving geometry learning outcomes. This program also contributes to the development of sustainable, technology-enhanced educational practices in community service contexts.

Abstract

Kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan kapasitas guru PAUD dalam mengimplementasikan administrasi digital melalui pemanfaatan teknologi informasi. Fokus kegiatan mencakup tiga aspek utama, yaitu digitalisasi presensi siswa, pengembangan database siswa, dan pelatihan literasi digital bagi guru. Pendampingan dilakukan melalui sesi pelatihan, praktik langsung, dan bimbingan berkelanjutan. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan peningkatan pemahaman dan keterampilan guru dalam menggunakan platform digital untuk administrasi harian. Program ini berkontribusi pada efisiensi kerja, ketepatan penyimpanan data, serta peningkatan layanan pendidikan di lingkungan PAUD.
