Abstract

Masjid Al Ihsan merupakan salah satu masjid yang ada di Kelurahan Tegal Gede, Kecamatan Sumbersari, Kabupaten Jember. Masjid sebagai lembaga nirlaba yang mendapatkan dana dari jamaah perlu memperhatikan aspek pengelolaan manajemen masjid serta keuangan sebagai bentuk pertanggungjawaban kepada jamaah. Metode pelaksanaan yang digunakan untuk pengabdian kegiatan masyarakat ini adalah menjaring kendala pengelolaan manajemen dan akuntansi masjid yang dihadapi oleh takmir masjid Al Ihsan. Pengabdian dilakukan selama 6 bulan dengan melakukan identifikasi kebutuhan takmir Masjid Al Ihsan. Selanjutnya, menindaklanjuti kebutuhan yang terjaring, tim jurusan manajemen agribisnis melaksanakan kegiatan pendampingan manajemen pengelolaan masjid dan pembukuan sederhana pembuatan arus kas masjid menggunakan aplikasi excel. Hasil pendampingan bagi takmir masjid Al-Ihsan adalah tersampaikannya pengetahuan tentang manajemen pengelolaan masjid dan pembukuan sederhana akuntansi arus kas masjid baik secara manual dan terkomputerisasi menggunakan microsoft excel.

Abstract

This community service activity aims to enhance the financial reporting skills of the management of BUMDes Cemerlang in Plerean Village in accordance with SAK EMKM standards. The issues faced include a lack of understanding of accounting principles and limited use of digital technology. Through an Excel-based application approach, the service team conducted a series of activities including socialization, training, and direct assistance. The application used was tailored to the needs of BUMDes to simplify transaction recording and financial report preparation. The results showed improved understanding and skills among the management in more effective, efficient, and accountable financial management. Final evaluations indicated that the management found the application helpful in minimizing errors and accelerating the financial reporting process.

Abstract

Villages are the smallest governmental entities that play a strategic role in improving community welfare through the management of local potential, one of which is through Village-Owned Enterprises (BUMDes). However, many BUMDes still face challenges in financial management due to limited human resource capacity and the lack of adequate accounting systems. This study aims to enhance the accounting capacity of BUMDes managers through the implementation of a Microsoft Excel-based accounting application that is simple, affordable, and aligned with applicable accounting standards (PSAK). The activity was conducted at BUMDes Pandu Barokah, located in Panduman Village, Jelbuk District, Jember Regency, using a mentoring method consisting of five stages: Forum Group Discussion (FGD), education and socialization, training, mentoring, and evaluation. The results of the activity indicate that BUMDes administrators showed improved understanding and skills in preparing financial reports in a systematic and accountable manner. Although further refinement is needed, the implementation of the Excel-based accounting application has proven to be an effective initial solution for establishing more transparent, professional, and sustainable financial governance in BUMDes.

Abstract

The development of digital technology has a major impact on the world of education, especially in improving the quality of interactive and interesting learning media. One platform that can be utilized is Canva for Education, a web-based graphic design application designed to support creative teaching and learning processes. Despite its great potential, the use of Canva for Education at SDN Arjasa 1 Jember is still relatively minimal due to limited understanding and lack of training for teachers and students. The majority of the learning process at this school is still conventional, which has an impact on decreasing students' interest in learning. The form of activity to answer this challenge is in the form of socialization activities and training in the use of Canva for Education which aims to improve teachers' digital competence and encourage students' creativity in creating visual learning media. This activity was provided by lecturers at the Jember State Polytechnic. With this training, it is hoped that a more interesting learning atmosphere will be created, as well as encouraging the mastery of 21st century skills such as creativity, communication, collaboration, and problem solving for students from an early age.
