Abstract

Pertumbuhan jumlah penduduk secara langsung memengaruhi peningkatan jumlah kendaraan bermotor di jalan raya, yang pada akhirnya menuntut sistem keselamatan berkendara yang lebih optimal. Salah satu komponen penting dalam menjamin keselamatan tersebut adalah sistem pengereman, di mana rem cakram menjadi pilihan utama karena efisiensi dan kemampuannya dalam disipasi panas.Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis performa sistem rem cakram pada sepeda motor berkapasitas 110cc, dengan fokus pada hubungan antara gaya pengereman dan berbagai parameter teknis. Analisis dilakukan pada rentang kecepatan 40 hingga 80km/jam serta jarak pengereman antara 5 hingga 40 meter. Perhitungan mempertimbangkan diameter piston master silinder sebesar 12 mm dan piston kaliper 24 mm, serta gaya tekan tangan pengendara mulai dari 50 N hingga 397 N.Hasil studi menunjukkan bahwa peningkatan gaya pada tuas rem akan meningkatkan tekanan hidrolik dan gaya gesek antara kampas rem dan cakram, yang berdampak pada pemendekan jarak pengereman. Namun, gaya melebihi 397 N berpotensi menimbulkan ketidak nyamanan bagi pengendara. Temuan ini memberikan kontribusi penting dalam pengembangan sistem pengereman sepeda motor yang mengutamakan efektivitas dan kenyamanan pengguna

Abstract

One of the tourist destinations that is used as an icon in the Special Region of Yogyakarta is the Palace and other cultural heritage. Keraton which is the face of the Special Region of Yogyakarta is the official residence of the Sultan of Yogyakarta which is open to the public. The uniqueness of the shape of the building and the simplicity of the way of life in the Palace are the main attractions of tourists who are visiting the Special Region of Yogyakarta. The community around the palace uses palace tourism as a source of income. Most of the area is managed by Abdi Dalem keraton. In addition to being a source of income, the surrounding community uses it as an object of introduction to Yogyakarta culture to visitors. The purpose of this study is to analyze the influence of environmental problems on the return visit of Yogyakarta palace. To analyze the influence of palace performances on the return visit of Yogyakarta palace. To analyze the effect of health protocols on the return visit to the Yogyakarta palace, the Research Method uses multiple linear regression. Environmental issues did not have a significant effect on the return visit of the Yogyakarta palace. The performance of the palace has a significant influence on the return visit of the Yogyakarta palace. Health Protocols have a significant effect on the return visit of the Yogyakarta palace.

Abstract

Continuous Improvement (CI) has become a critical management philosophy for achieving sustainable competitiveness in manufacturing industries. However, despite its widespread adoption, many CI initiatives fail due to human‐related barriers that hinder implementation at the organizational level. This study aims to identify and analyze the key human factors that impede CI implementation in Indonesian manufacturing industries and to explore strategies for overcoming these challenges. Using a qualitative exploratory design, data were collected through in-depth interviews with 15 manufacturing practitioners and analyzed using thematic analysis. The findings reveal seven major human-related inhibitors to successful CI implementation: complacency, misperception, irritability, individualism, work rigidity, frustration, and stress.  Collectively, these factors erode motivation, weaken collaborative capabilities, and intensify resistance to organizational change, which in turn restricts organizational learning and performance enhancement. The results corroborate existing literature emphasizing the significance of human and cultural aspects in sustaining CI initiatives. To address these barriers, the study highlights the importance of fostering a supportive organizational culture that promotes psychological safety, teamwork, and incremental learning through the Kaizen philosophy. Management interventions should focus on strengthening human engagement, realistic goal setting, and reward mechanisms that value collective effort and continuous learning.This study contributes to the growing body of knowledge on CI by providing an in-depth understanding of the human dimension of continuous improvement in developing-country manufacturing contexts. The findings offer both theoretical enrichment and practical guidance for leaders seeking to cultivate sustainable CI cultures driven by people rather than processes.

Abstract

Penggunaan mesin pencacah kertas menjadi solusi efektif dalam mendaur ulang limbah kertas, khususnya pada skala rumah tangga dan industri kecil. Komponen utama yang menentukan kinerja mesin pencacah adalah mata pisau. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis perhitungan aktual mata pisau mesin pencacah kertas ditinjau dari aspek gaya potong, kebutuhan daya, serta tegangan mekanik yang terjadi selama proses pencacahan. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini meliputi studi literatur, pengumpulan data teknis, perhitungan manual berdasarkan rumus mekanika teknik, serta simulasi numerik dengan bantuan perangkat lunak CAD/CAE. Material pisau yang digunakan adalah SKD-11 dengan kekerasan ±60–62 HRC. Perhitungan gaya potong dilakukan dengan pendekatan luas bidang potong dan tegangan geser kertas. Daya yang dibutuhkan dihitung berdasarkan kecepatan potong dan efisiensi sistem. Analisis tegangan dilakukan menggunakan rumus Von Mises untuk memastikan ketahanan pisau terhadap beban kerja. Hasil perhitungan menunjukkan bahwa gaya potong maksimum berada pada kisaran 240 N dengan kebutuhan daya sebesar 2,07 kW. Tegangan Von Mises yang terjadi sebesar 435,89 MPa, masih berada di bawah batas elastis material SKD-11. Dengan demikian, spesifikasi dan desain pisau dinilai layak dan aman digunakan dalam mesin pencacah kertas. Penelitian ini dapat menjadi acuan dalam perancangan dan evaluasi komponen pisau mesin pencacah pada skala UMKM dan rekayasa mesin sederhana.
