Abstract

Background: One of the efforts to prevent health problems in students in Islamic boarding schools is by building awareness to carry out clean and healthy living behavior (PHBS). Efforts to introduce and improve students' knowledge can be done by using health education media in the form of pocket books. Objective: To produce a PHBS pocket book for students in Islamic boarding schools. Methods: This study uses the RnD approach based on the ADDIE Model (Analyze, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation). The media was validated by expert media validators, language experts, public health practitioners, agency validators, and students in grades X and XI of the Ar-Rahman Islamic Boarding School. Data collection used literature studies and data were analyzed manually. Results: The development of the PHBS pocket book in Islamic Boarding Schools began with identifying potential problems and, collecting data, and information. Product design creation using the Ibis Paint X application. The product obtained validation results, namely media experts of 96% (very feasible), language experts of 92% (very feasible), public health practitioners of 99% (very feasible), validation of institutions consisting of teachers of 100% (very feasible). After receiving suggestions and comments from the validator, the product was then revised. Then the results of the product trial on the participant group were 88% (very feasible) Conclusion: The PHBS pocket book in Islamic Boarding Schools can be used as a health education media with a very feasible feasibility test. Suggestion: Pocket books can be digitized based on Android.

Abstract

Background: Diarrhea is a condition in which a person experiences bowel movements more than three times a day with liquid-textured feces, often accompanied by mucus or blood, and occurs more often than usual. The purpose of this study was to determine the determinants of diarrhea in toddlers in the work area of ​​the Paal V Health Center in 2024. This study is a quantitative study using a Cross Sectional approach method. The sample in this study was 167 mothers of toddlers with a purposive sampling technique. The study was conducted from August 2024 to January 2025. The research instrument used a questionnaire and observation sheet. The variables used were CTPS habits, exclusive breastfeeding, visits to integrated health posts, maternal employment status, clean water sources, healthy toilets. Cronbach's results Validity Test Diarrhea incidence (0.404), CTPS habits (0.632), exclusive breastfeeding (0.636), visits to integrated health posts (0.690). The results of the CTPS habit analysis obtained p-value (0.034), exclusive breastfeeding (0.016), visits to integrated health posts (0.107), maternal employment status (0.042), clean water sources (0.154), healthy toilets (1.000). There is a relationship between CTPS habits, exclusive breastfeeding, maternal employment with the incidence of diarrhea in toddlers. There is no relationship between visits to integrated health posts, clean water sources, healthy toilets with the incidence of diarrhea.

Abstract

Based on data obtained from the Dwi Karya Bakti Village Midwife, the incidence of diarrhea was 6.27% and the incidence of skin diseases was 7.35% and 10.0% were affected by ISPA. These figures indicate that there are several Community residents who are still affected by diarrhea, skin diseases, and ISPA caused by a lack of environmental sanitation and unhealthy behavior in the SAD Community and the General Community. The study aims to determine the differences in environmental sanitation on the incidence of environmental-based diseases in the SAD Community and the General Community of Dwi Karya Bakti Village. Quantitative research with a comparative study design. The data sources or respondents in this study were the SAD Community and the General Community of Dwi Karya Bakti Village, with a sample size of 80 families. Data were collected through interviews using a questionnaire. The variables studied were toilet use, handwashing with soap, drinking water and food management, waste management, household wastewater management, and knowledge. Data analysis was descriptive and analytical using chi-square. The proportion of environmental-based diseases in SAD reached 57.5 while the General Community was 65.0%.

Pulmonary tuberculosis is caused by Mycobacterium tuberculosis, which spreads when people... This study aims to determine the relationship between residential density, temperature, humidity, floor type, family income, Education level, smoking status, and presence of household contacts with incident Pulmonary TB in region Putri Ayu Community Health Center, Jambi City in 2024. Method: This type of research is quantitative research with a case control study design. Population in study This is all over Pulmonary TB sufferers Which is at in region Work Putri Community Health Center Ayu City Jambi. Sample in research This as much as 62. Technique sampling with use random example. Collection data using questionnaires and observations, univariate and bivariate data using the chi- square test. Results: There is an income relationship OR 0.238> 1(95% CI, 0.084 -0.677) and the presence of a box in the same house OR 68,200> 1 (95% CI, 8,129 -572,176) with the incidence of pulmonary TB. There is no relationship between residential density, temperature, humidity, floor type, education level, smoking status, Conclusion: Variables Which relate that is the emergence and presence of household contacts. Therefore, it is recommended to improve socioeconomic conditions and early detection of pulmonary TB.

Abstract

The use of health insurance in Indonesia takes various forms, starting from government health insurance or better known as the National Social Security System (SJSN), in this case the government stipulates Law No. 24 of 2011 concerning the Social Security Administering Body (BPJS). For overall data on active JKN membership coverage in Jambi province as of December 1 2022, there were 3,026,329 participants or 83.08% of the total population of 3,642,763, of which the highest prevalence of participants was in Jambi City with a total participation of 610,498 or the equivalent of 98 .15%. Apart from that, the government also has an institution called a State-Owned Enterprise (BUMN). Bank Rakyat Indonesia is one of the 4 banks affiliated with BUMN. To provide guarantees to each employee, Bank BRI usually guarantees aspects of their health by providing health insurance known as BRI Life. This research is a qualitative research with a case study approach involving 12 informants consisting of BRI Life insurance coordinators, BRI Bank employees, and BRI Bank customers who use BRI Life and BPJS Health insurance. The main techniques in this research are observation and in-depth interviews. The aim of this research is to see the use of health insurance for employees of Bank BRI KC Jambi City in improving health status. This research obtained the results that the use of BRI Life and BPJS Health insurance for BRI Bank employees is not entirely based on the employee's attachment to BRI Bank, employees are free to choose to use company insurance or BPJS Health depending on personal needs.

Abstract

Suku Anak Dalam (SAD) merupakan suku terasing yang ada di Provinsi Jambi yang tersebar di beberapa Kabupaten, Kecamatan dan Desa, salah satunya di Desa Dwi Karya Bhakti, Kabupaten Bungo. Kesehatan masih menjadi masalah pada komunitas SAD, khususnya kesehatan ibu dan anak. Posyandu merupakan salah satu upaya efektif berbasis masyarakat untuk meningkatakan kesehatan masyakat. Namun, Komunitas SAD membutuhkan pendampingan secara khusus, melalui Posyandu yang dirancang secara khusus dan disesuaikan dengan kondisi dan kemampuan dasar komunitas ini. Tujuan kegiatan ini adalah melakukan pendampingan edukasi kesehatan ibu dan anak serta pencegahan diare pada komunitas SAD di Desa Dwi Karya Bhakti, Kabupaten Bungo. Kegiatan ini dilaksanakan melalui upaya pendampingan komprehensif dengan menempatkan 5 mahasiswa tinggal bersama mitra selama 6 bulan (bulan Juli s.d. Desember 2023). Kegiatan ini dilakukan melalui beberapa langkah yaitu pendekatan kepada pemuka adat, pendampingan interpersonal kader Posyandu Khusus SAD, edukasi, pengadaan media edukasi, dan pemantauan tumbuh kembang bayi dan balita, serta kegiatan pendampingan edukasi KIA dan pencegahan diare. Untuk memperlengkapi kader posyandu, maka telah dikembangkan media edukasi berbahasa lokal. Kegiatan pendampingan edukasi KIA dan pencegahan diare kepada kader di posyandu khusus SAD telah terlaksana dengan baik. Terjadi peningkatan pengetahuan tentang KIA dan pencegahan diare dari komunitas SAD serta kemampuan dari kader posyandu khusus SAD dalam melaksanakan kegiatan posyandu. Kegiatan ini diharapakan dapat berkontribusi dalam peningkatan kesehatan masyakat komunitas Suku Anak Dalam di Desa Dwi Karya Bhakti Kecamatan Pelepat Kabupaten Bungo.

Abstract

Tuberkulosis (TB) masih menjadi masalah kesehatan global, termasuk pada anak-anak yang berisiko tinggi mengalami gangguan tumbuh kembang. Kota Jambi mencatatkan peningkatan kasus TB anak, terutama di wilayah kerja Puskesmas Putri Ayu. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui faktor-faktor dan menganalisis apa saja yang menjadi penyebab TB pada anak. Penelitian ini merupakan studi kuantitatif dengan desain case-control menggunakan 60 sampel (30 kasus, 30 kontrol) yakni usia 6 bulan hingga 14 tahun. Data dikumpulkan melalui wawancara dan observasi, dianalisis secara univariat dan bivariat menggunakan uji Chi-Square dan perhitungan Odds Ratio (OR) dengan menggunakan SPSS. Hasil penelitian ditemukan hubungan signifikan antara kejadian TB anak dengan status gizi (OR=12.25), ASI eksklusif (OR=21.25), riwayat kontak (OR=34.00), pengetahuan orang tua (OR=28.00), status ekonomi (OR=17.50), kepadatan hunian (OR=10.00), dan ventilasi (OR=10.00). Tidak terdapat hubungan signifikan antara kejadian TB dengan usia, jenis kelamin, imunisasi BCG, dan riwayat merokok keluarga. Kesimpulan penelitian menunjukkan bahwa faktor lingkungan, gizi, dan perilaku keluarga memiliki pengaruh kuat terhadap kejadian TB anak. Intervensi preventif perlu difokuskan pada perbaikan lingkungan hunian, edukasi orang tua, dan pemenuhan gizi anak.
