Abstract

This study aims to analyze the influence of tourism facilities on employment opportunities and the number of tourists in Indonesia from 2017 to 2021. Quantitative research type. The object of this research was carried out in all provinces in Indonesia for the period 2017 to 2021. The type of data used is secondary data that researchers obtained from the Central Statistics Agency (BPS) of Indonesia. The data analysis method used is simultaneous panel data regression, with the chow test, hausman test and hypothesis test (F test, and t test), the simultaneous panel data regression estimation model used is the Common Effect Model, data processing using the E-Views 10 program. The results of this study indicate that together the variables (1) number of tourists, hotels and restaurants do not have a significant effect on employment opportunities in Indonesia. (2) employment opportunities, tourist attractions and tourism costs have a significant effect on the number of tourists in Indonesia. Partially: (3) hotels have a positive and significant effect on employment opportunities in Indonesia. (4) restaurants also have a positive and significant effect on employment opportunities in Indonesia. (5) The number of tourists shows a positive and significant effect on employment opportunities in Indonesia. (6) Tourist attractions have a positive but not significant influence on the number of tourists in Indonesia. (7) Tourism costs have a negative and significant influence on the number of tourists in Indonesia. (8) Job opportunities have a positive and significant impact on the number of tourists in Indonesia.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the influence of ICT services exports, foreign investment, inflation and labor force participation rate on Indonesia's economic growth. This type of research is quantitative research using secondary data. specifically the World Bank's time series data from 1993 to 2023. Multiple linear regression analysis is the analysis method used in this study. The results of this study indicate that all independent variables together have a significant effect on economic growth as the dependent variable. Partially, ICT services exports has a negative and insignificant effect on economic growth. Foreign investment have a positive and significant effect on economic growth, inflation has a negative and significant effect on economic growth. and labor force participation rate has a positive and insignificant effect on economic growth.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the influence of economic growth, fossil fuel energy consumption, manufacturing value added, total greenhouse gas emissions, and foreign direct investment on renewable energy consumption in Indonesia. This is a quantitative study using secondary data, specifically time series data from the World Bank for the period 1991 to 2021. The analysis method used in this study is multiple linear regression. The results show that all independent variables simultaneously have a significant effect on renewable energy consumption as the dependent variable. Partially, economic growth and fossil fuel energy consumption have a negative but statistically insignificant effect on renewable energy consumption. Manufacturing value added and foreign direct investment have a positive but insignificant effect on renewable energy consumption, while total greenhouse gas emissions have a negative and significant effect on renewable energy consumption. Keywords : Renewable Energy Consumption, Economic Growth, Fossil Fuel Energy Consumption, Manufacturing Value Added, Total Greenhouse Gas Emissions, And Foreign Direct Investment

Abstract

This study aims to analyze two main aspects: (1) the impact of economic growth, unemployment, health, and internet access on poverty in Indonesia, and (2) the influence of poverty, labor force, and education on economic growth. The research employs a descriptive and inductive approach with multiple linear regression analysis using the Two-Stage Least Squares (2SLS) method on time series data from 1992 - 2022. Secondary data were obtained from the Central Bureau of Statistics (BPS), with dependent variables consisting of poverty and economic growth, while independent variables include unemployment, health, internet access, labor force, and education.

Abstract

This study aims to determine and analyze how the impact of electricity consumption, fuel consumption and gas consumption on economic growth in Indonesia. This research is descriptive and associative, namely research that explains the research variables and tests whether there is an influence between the independent and dependent variables. This research analyzes 3 independent variables using secondary data in the form of time series data for 30 years from 1992 to 2021. The analytical tool used is multiple regression analysis with the Ordinary Least Square (OLS) method to process this data using the Eviews12 program. The research results show that the independent variables, namely electricity consumption, fuel consumption and gas consumption together, have no effect on the dependent variable, namely economic growth. Partially, it shows that the electricity consumption The electricity consumption variable has a positive but insignificant influence on economic growth, the fuel consumption variable has a negative and insignificant influence on economic growth, and the gas consumption variable has a negative and insignificant influence on economic growth. The results of the classical assumption test from this research show that the regression model is free from symptoms of multicollinearity, autocorrelation and heteroscedasticity.

Abstract

This research aims to analyze and determine (1) the influence of population growth rate, consumption expenditure, Open Unemployment Rate (TPT) and Income Inequality on Economic Growth in West Sumatra, (2) The influence of Open Unemployment Rate (TPT), Internet Access, Education and Economic Growth on Income Inequality in West Sumatra. This research uses panel data from 2017 to 2023. This research uses a simultaneous equation model using the 2SLS (Two Stage Least Square) method. The results of this research show that (1) population growth rate and income inequality do not have a significant effect on economic growth. Then consumption expenditure has a positive and significant effect on economic growth and the open unemployment rate (TPT) has a positive and significant effect on economic growth (2) The open unemployment rate (TPT), internet access and economic growth do not have a significant effect on income inequality and education has a negative and significant effect on income inequality. The influences of these variables on economic growth are expected to encourage an increasing trend in economic growth and a decreasing trend in income inequality.
