Abstract

Ibn Khaldun's economic thinking and the concept of Pancasila Economics developed by Mubyarto have significant relevance in understanding an economic system based on moral and social values. Ibn Khaldun emphasized the importance of cooperation, justice, and the role of the state in creating social welfare, which is in line with the basic principles of Pancasila Economics which place the economy as a tool to achieve social justice. This study aims to analyze the harmony between Ibn Khaldun's economic thinking and the concept of Pancasila Economics using a qualitative-descriptive approach through literature studies. The results of the study show that these two thoughts have similarities in aspects of the role of the state in the economy, distribution of justice, and social welfare based on ethical values and togetherness. This study contributes to providing a historical and philosophical perspective on the development of an economic system that is more oriented towards people's welfare and the principles of social justice in Indonesia.

Abstract

Abstract

Program pengabdian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh tantangan yang dihadapi oleh UKM kreatif di Himpunan Pengusaha Muda NU (HIPNU) Kabupaten Pasuruan, yaitu pengelolaan rantai pasok yang kurang optimal, minimnya inovasi, dan rendahnya pemanfaatan teknologi digital untuk pemasaran. Tujuan dari kegiatan ini adalah untuk meningkatkan daya saing dan kinerja UKM melalui pendekatan supply chain integration, innovation capability, dan digital marketing adoption. Metode yang digunakan dalam kegiatan pengabdian ini adalah pendekatan partisipatif. Tahapan yang dilakukan meliputi identifikasi kebutuhan mitra, pelaksanaan pelatihan intensif mengenai integrasi rantai pasok, pengembangan kapasitas inovasi, dan adopsi pemasaran digital. Kegiatan ini dirancang untuk memberikan dukungan langsung kepada UKM dalam meningkatkan keterampilan dan pengetahuan mereka. Setelah pelaksanaan kegiatan pengabdian, mitra menunjukkan peningkatan signifikan dalam keterampilan mengelola rantai pasok, merancang strategi inovasi produk, serta menggunakan platform digital untuk memperluas pasar. Dampak nyata dari program ini mencakup peningkatan efisiensi operasional, kreativitas produk, dan akses pasar yang lebih luas bagi UKM. Program pengabdian ini berhasil mencapai tujuannya dalam meningkatkan daya saing dan kinerja UKM kreatif di Kabupaten Pasuruan. Luaran dari kegiatan ini mencakup modul pelatihan, laporan kegiatan, dan artikel ilmiah yang diusulkan untuk publikasi. Untuk keberlanjutan program, disarankan adanya kolaborasi lebih intensif dengan pemerintah daerah dan stakeholder terkait serta replikasi kegiatan di wilayah lain dengan penyesuaian terhadap kebutuhan lokal.

Abstract

Abstrak. Masjid tidak hanya berfungsi sebagai tempat ibadah, tetapi juga memiliki potensi sebagai pusat pemberdayaan masyarakat dalam bidang ekonomi, sosial, dan budaya. Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh pentingnya optimalisasi fungsi masjid dalam mendorong kesejahteraan masyarakat secara berkelanjutan. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengidentifikasi potensi keterlibatan masyarakat di Masjid Merah Pandaan, menganalisis hambatan yang dihadapi, serta merumuskan strategi pemberdayaan yang efektif. Penelitian ini berlandaskan pada pemikiran teoritis bahwa partisipasi aktif masyarakat merupakan kunci keberhasilan program pemberdayaan berbasis komunitas. Menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif deskriptif, data dikumpulkan melalui wawancara, observasi, dan dokumentasi terhadap takmir, masyarakat, dan pengunjung masjid. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa Masjid Merah memiliki potensi besar sebagai pusat kegiatan sosial dan ekonomi, meskipun masih menghadapi kendala seperti rendahnya partisipasi berkelanjutan, kurangnya promosi program, serta minimnya sinergi dengan komunitas sekitar. Penelitian ini menyarankan strategi seperti peningkatan komunikasi, pengembangan program berbasis minat dan ekonomi kreatif, serta pendekatan partisipatif berbasis kelompok kecil. Dengan penguatan strategi tersebut, Masjid Merah Pandaan berpeluang besar menjadi model pemberdayaan masyarakat berbasis masjid yang efektif dan berkelanjutan. Abstract. A mosque does not only serve as a place of worship, but also holds great potential as a center for community empowerment in the economic, social, and cultural sectors. This study is based on the importance of optimizing the mosque’s role in promoting sustainable community welfare. The purpose of this research is to identify the potential for community involvement at Masjid Merah Pandaan, analyze the challenges faced, and formulate effective empowerment strategies. This research is grounded in the theoretical assumption that active community participation is key to the success of community-based empowerment programs. Using a descriptive qualitative approach, data were collected through interviews, observations, and documentation involving mosque administrators, local residents, and mosque visitors. The findings indicate that Masjid Merah has strong potential to serve as a hub for social and economic activity, although it still faces obstacles such as inconsistent participation, limited program promotion, and lack of synergy with surrounding communities. The study recommends strategies including improved communication, the development of interest-based and creative economic programs, and participatory approaches through small group engagement. With the implementation of these strategies, Masjid Merah Pandaan has a promising opportunity to become a model for effective and sustainable mosque-based community empowerment.
