Abstract

Bootstrap is an open source CSS framework by providing CSS classes that are already integrated with JQuery. The design responsive layout support on bootstrap will create a website that automatically adjusts to the width of the user's browser so that the website created by bootstrap is compatible with all smartphone, tablet, laptop and desktop PC devices. The design of library information system in this research using Web Development Life Cycle (WDLC) method. WDLC is a method that used to design web-based information systems, stages of system design on WDLC ranging from Planning, Analisys, Design and Development, Testing and Implementation and maintenance. This research produces a responsive web-based information system that enables members and librarians for doing book searching, lending and book returning.

Abstract

Similar to Bluetooth technology, Wifi direct is a connectivity concept within the network that allows all devices connected in the network to directly access data directly from one to another. Wifi direct has advantages in terms of connectivity, range and speed of data transfer, so the future will have an opportunity to replace the existing tekonolgi today. Bluetooth is the most likely technology to be rivaled. Currently, connectivity with bluetooth monopolizes the mobile connections of gadgets as well as computer devices such as headphones, mice, keyboards, printers and more. The device connectivity reach WiFi Direct is much farther and stronger than Bluetooth, therefore WiFi Direct is often referred to as a heavy rival of Bluetooth. In terms of data transmission, direct wifi can transfer large amounts of data, WiFi Direct can be used to access and play online games and be connected to various devices such as PCs, Smart TVs, printers, digital cameras and other smart devices without the need for data cables. The use of Wifi direct is also one of the solutions as a medium of data transmission for the office that often change the layout of the room and switch desks.

Abstract

Games are generally used for entertainment, so by playing games the players will feel happy. Games can also be used as learning media with the concept of learning while playing. Each game has a set of logical functions and rules that guide the course of the game, as well as targets that must be achieved in each level. Each game has different logic and target functions. RPG(Role Playing Game) is one of the most popular game genres. In RPG games, it allows players to take on the roles of multiple imaginary characters and collaborate to complete in-game challenges. This study aims to create a game with the RPG genre with the theme of Indonesian culture and history. The tools used for designing this game are RPG Maker Mv, which is a special software for creating RPG genre games. In the design stage, the author uses the ADDIE method with stages consisting of Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation. The result of this research is an RPG game entitled "Nusantara Darkness Risess". It is hoped that with this game, it can attract people's interest to study Indonesian history and culture

Abstract

Abstract. This learning media is packaged in the form of an android application that will be used by students, they will also get the value of local wisdom from the North Sumatran folklore learned. This research uses a qualitative descriptive approach with quantitative data collection. The results of the research, the first is the media development process using the 4D Thiagarajan method, namely define, design, develop, and disseminate. Second, validation results by material experts with an average percentage of 96%, validation of media experts with an average assessment percentage of 87%, individual trials with an average percentage of 87%, small group trials with an average percentage of 88%, and limited field trials with an average percentage of 90%. Learning outcomes on folklore text material after using blended learning-based learning media with an average score of 82.81 and an average score before using blended learning-based learning media of 67.65. Abstract

Wireless computer network is a very modern technology in the world of computer networks, this technology connects computers without using cables but using waves with a frequency of 2.4 GHz. In a wireless network, the user or users connect to the internet using air media through an access point device. This wireless-based network makes it easier for people to access the internet wherever they are. The design of this network installation consists of installing an RJ-45 connector on a UTP cable, radio configuration, Access Point, Mikrotik RB750 server configuration, and bandwidth management configuration. The existence of a wireless network at the Suka Damai Village Office, Hinai District, will make it easier for employees and the public to access the internet practically. In addition, configuring a wireless network is not so difficult, as long as it follows the rules for creating a network.

Abstract

In this study, we reviewed the literature on information retrieval starting from the basics of Information Retrieval (IR), components and future challenges. The purpose of this study is to observe techniques that have been used by previous researchers in IR, especially query processing and ranking of search results. We used a literature review method by identifying, reviewing, and observing techniques in IR based on the results of several previous studies. We collected more literature sources from the ACM Digital Library, Researchgate and MDPI. From this research, we found several IR models for searching relevant documents (information) and ranking accurate results, including EXplanaTion RAnking (EXTRA), Deep-QPP, ColBERT-PRF and UQSCM-RFD.

Abstract

IoT (Internet of Things) is a concept that aims to expand the benefits of continuously connected internet connectivity. IoT (Internet of Things) can be used in buildings to control electronic equipment such as room lights that can be operated remotely via a computer network. The research was carried out by building a remote control device that utilizes TCP/IP to carry out control processes in the local network through a web server embedded in the remote control device. There are two control features, namely one lamp control that is used to turn on one lamp and the overall lamp control feature and turns on all the lights at once.

Abstract

The determination of construction worker requirements at the Langkat Regency Public Works and Spatial Planning Office (PUPR) is still conducted manually, often resulting in inaccurate workforce allocation and inefficiencies in project implementation. Therefore, a data-driven approach is needed to improve prediction accuracy. This study aims to apply the Naive Bayes algorithm to predict construction worker needs based on historical project data. This research uses a quantitative approach with a classification method. The dataset includes variables such as project type, budget, duration, and previous labor usage. Data processing involves preprocessing, training, and testing, with a data split of 80% for training and 20% for testing. The Naive Bayes model is then evaluated using accuracy, precision, recall, and F1-score metrics. The results show that the Naive Bayes algorithm achieves an accuracy of 86.7%, precision of 84.5%, recall of 87.2%, and F1-score of 85.8%. The model is capable of classifying workforce needs into low, medium, and high categories effectively. In conclusion, the Naive Bayes algorithm provides a reliable and efficient method for predicting construction worker requirements, supporting better decision-making and workforce planning at the Langkat Regency PUPR Office. Abstract

The increasingly rapid development of computer network technology demands a network system that is reliable, flexible, and able to adapt to dynamic environmental conditions. One of the network technologies that is currently developing is mesh networking. Mesh networking is a network topology where each node can be connected to each other directly or indirectly through other nodes. This research aims to analyze the application of the mesh networking method using the Mikrotik RouterBoard 941 device. The research method used is experimental by configuring, implementing, and testing mesh networking on the Mikrotik RouterBoard 941. The results of the research show that mesh networking can be applied to the Mikrotik RouterBoard 941 by utilizing available features, such as OLSR (Optimized Link State Routing) and WDS (Wireless Distribution System). Mesh networking is able to increase redundancy and network availability, and can adapt to changes in network topology. However, mesh networking also has several disadvantages, such as configuration complexity, routing overhead, and the possibility of bottlenecks at certain nodes. REFERENCES Aisyah, A. (2022). Abstract

This study aims to analyze the development of research on query expansion in the field of information retrieval using a bibliometric approach to understand research trends, distribution, and current research focus. The data were obtained from 676 publications indexed in Scopus during the period from 2020 to February 2026. The research method involves quantitative analysis of annual publication trends, distribution of subject areas, document types, and keyword analysis using VOSviewer to map keyword relationships through co-occurrence analysis, overlay visualization to identify keyword trends, and density visualization to observe the concentration of research topics. The results show fluctuations in the number of publications with a peak occurring in 2025 with 141 publications. The research is dominated by the Computer Science field with 596 publications, and the majority of documents are conference papers with 369 publications. Keyword analysis identifies core topics such as information retrieval with 483 occurrences, query expansion with 354 occurrences, and search engines with 221 occurrences. Recent research trends include large language models, word embedding, and retrieval-augmented generation. The keyword network visualization indicates a shift from traditional methods such as relevance feedback toward modern approaches based on artificial intelligence and machine learning, which are increasingly relevant for improving the effectiveness of information retrieval systems. These findings provide both quantitative and qualitative insights into the evolution of query expansion research. The results also highlight the integration of modern technologies in retrieval practices and provide a foundation for new researchers to identify trends, research gaps, and opportunities for future innovation.
