Abstract

Quality Improvement polytechnic graduates among others influenced by the performance oflecturers. Through BKD (Beban Kinerja  Dosen) is expected to improve the quality of lecturers.Since 2010 BKD has been implemented in Poltekkes throughout Indonesia with the goal ofimproving the performance of the Ministry of Health polytechnic lecturers and the results have notbeen evaluated. This study aimed to identify efforts to improve the performance of lecturers basedon analysis Lecturer Workload. The benefits of this research is to produce recommendationslecturer at improving performance Workload analysis Lecturer (BKD). This study was conducted in 7 Department of the Ministry of Health Surabaya polytechnic.Of the population is 615 lecturers. Sample obtained by random sampling Claster method, a large ofsample 68 respondents. Statistic test using SPSS Linear Regression. The research resulted (1) Individuals who are the most influential factor is the experiencewhile the most uninfluential is the family support. (2) The organization of the most influential factoris the job description, while the most uninfluential is the organizational structure. (3) The mostinfluential factor is the psychology of motivation, while the most uninfluential is the personality. Abstract

Soetomo midwifery student dormitory is one of the 12 polytechnic hostel in Surabaya having food management administration system for students. At the hostel, diet comes from studentrequests that are tailored to the existing budget. The purpose of this study is knowing influence theorganization of food management system to the level of consumption and the incidence of anemiain the dorm Midwifery Soetomo. Type of the research is  a descriptive analytic study with cross sectional design. Samplesnumbered 44  by simple random sampling. The collection of data by interview and observation.Analysis of the data is tested with Spearman's rho. The conclusion of this study is the implementation of the food system in the dorm obstetricsis not all conform to the standard system for the implementation of institutional food energyconsumption levels are normal and there is no severe deficit and slightly anemic. At the level ofprotein intake, many normal and mild deficits. To the level of iron consumption, the deficit morenormal, but many are not anemic, and the level of vitamin C is normal,  6 people (13.6%) sufferedfrom anemia and 38 persons (86.4%) not anemia. From the test results Rho Spearmant, there isno influence of the level of consumption of energy, protein, foods containing Fe and vitamin C onthe incidence of anemia.  Keywords: the level of consumption of energy, protein, foods containing Fe and vitamin C, Anemia

Abstract

This research is analytical research, with Quasy experimental design, pre and post test design, which aims to study the effect of fish extract cork on blood albumin levels in patients with diabetes mellitus with gangrene. As the population are all people with Diabetes Mellitus with gangreen, while the samples were divided into three groups: treatment group 1 were given extracts of catfish as much as 2 x 35 cc/day for 12 days (EIG1), then the 2 treatment groups given catfish extract as much as 1 x35 cc/day for 12 days (EIG2) and the control group were given a lacebo . Hash Research shows the average blood albumin levels in group 1 (EIG1 2 x 35 cc/day) before and after treatment had a significant difference (p = 0.000) with an average pre- treatment amounted to 2.38 ± 0.66 g/dl and after treatment was 2.73±0.36 , which means an increase of 0.35 g/dl. In group 2 (EIG2 1 x 35cc/hari) average blood albumin levels before and after treatment had a significant difference (p = 0.001) with an average pre- treatment to 2.57±0.19 g/dl and after treatment was 2.87±0.21 which means an increase of 0.32 g/dI . While the use of the placebo group 3, the average blood albumin levels before and after treatment did not have significant difference (p=0.797) with an average pre- treatment by 2.63±0.36 g/dl and after treatment was 2,63±0.37, which means there is an increase. The results of ANOVA test result that the average levels of albumin across the groups at baseline (before treatment) had no difference (p=0.9930.05). While that seen after treatment and the difference in the average levels of albumin across the group has significant difference (p=0.0000.05). It can be concluded that the extract of fish cork has been shown to increase blood albumin levels were statistically significant with the administration of 2 bottles per day @ 35 cc.       Keywords: Diabetes Mellitus, albumin levels, Extract, Fish Cork

Abstract

MP-ASI berupa makanan padat atau air yang diberikan secara bertahap sesuai dengan usia dan kemampuan pencernaan bayi. Pada usia 6-24 bulan ASI hanya menyediakan 1/3 dari kebutuhan gizinya sedangkan kebutuhan untuk energi dan nutrisi mulai melebihi apa yang disediakan oleh ASI sehingga makanan pendamping diperlukan untuk memenuhi kebutuhan tersebut. Pemberian makanan pendamping ASI (MP-ASI) pada saat yang tepat sangat bermanfaat bagi pemenuhan kebutuhan nutrisi dan tumbuh kembang anak. Hasil analisis menunjukkan praktik pemberian makanan pendamping ASI (MP-ASI) belum mampu dilakukan dengan benar seperti jumlah, frekuensi dan bentuk yang disebabkan berbagai alasan yang beragam. Oleh karena itu diperlukan suatu solusi yang konkret sebagai upaya untuk meningkatkan pemberian MP-ASI sehingga dapat meningkatkan perubahan status gizi pada baduta. Hasil pengabdian masyarakat ini diharapkan dapat memberikan pengatahuan kepada fasilitator atau kader, ibu baduta dan keluarga tentang Pemberian Makanan Pendamping Air Susu Ibu (MP-ASI) dan peningkatan pemahaman dalam pemberian informasi tentang asupan gizi pada balita. Sehingga pembinaan ini diaharapkan dapat melengkapi pengetahuan serta ketrampilan dalam pemberian makanan pendamping ASI (MP-ASI). Metode pelaksanaan kegiatan meliputi pengukuran Berat Badan, Panjang Badan/Tinggi Badan dan status gizi ; Penyuluhan tentang makanan pendamping ASI (MP-ASI), asupan gizi yang benar pada baduta dan hal-hal yang meningkatkan status gizi; Evaluasi hasil kegiatan.

Abstract

ABSTRACT Pneumonia is a respiratory tract infection that affects the lung parenchyma, causing inflammation. It is characterized by high fever, chills, shortness of breath, rapid breathing, coughing and chest indrawing. Mothers play an important role in supporting efforts to overcome nutritional problems, especially in terms of family nutritional intake, starting from food preparation, selection of food ingredients, to food menus. Pneumonia taken under five has 2 categories, namely mild - moderate and severe. The classification of pneumonia under five above shows that the majority of pneumonia under five in the working area of ​​the Lamongan District Health Center includes mild to moderate pneumonia with a total of 42 children (97.7%). From 2013 - 2018 there was an increase from 1.3% to 1.84%. Meanwhile, in the Lamongan Regency, there are still many cases of preumonia in Balia. The objectives of this community service are: 1. To find out the Nutritional Status by conducting anthropometric measurements 2. To increase the ability of cadres by holding training for refreshing cadres on anthropometric measurements 3. To increase the knowledge of the facilitators of providing food for making PMT Extensions made from local food with demonstration method facilitator training . From the results of this activity, there was no difference between before and after supplementary feeding. It is known that 80% of toddlers are classified as normal, 16% of toddlers are classified as short, and 4% of toddlers are classified as very short. ABSTRAK Pneumonia adalah suatu penyakit infeksi saluran pernapasan yang mengenai parenkim paru sehingga terjadi peradangan. Yang ditandai dengan adanya demam tinggi, menggigil, sesak napas, napas cepat, batuk dan tarikan dinding dada ke dalam. Ibu memegang peranan penting dalam mendukung upaya mengatasi masalah gizi, terutama dalam hal asupan gizi keluarga, mulai dari penyiapan makanan, pemilihan bahan makanan, sampai menu makanan. Pneumonia balita yang diambil mempunyai 2 kategori antara lain ringan - sedang dan berat. Klasifikasi Pneumonia balita diatas menunjukan bahwa sebagian besar balita Pneumonia di wilayah kerja Puskesmas Kota Lamongan termasuk Pneumonia tingkat ringan - sedang dengan jumlah 42 balita (97,7%). Dari tahun 2013 - 2018 mengalami kenaikan dari 1,3% menjadi 1,84%. Sedangkan di daerah Kabupaten Lamongan penderita Preumonia balia masih banyak dijumpai. Tujuan dari pengabdian masyarakat ini adalah : 1. Untuk mengetahui Status Gizi dengan mengadakan pengukuran antropometri 2. Meningkatkan kemampuan kader dengan mengadakan pelatihan untuk refreshing kader tentang pengukuran antropometri 3. Meningkatkan pengetahuan fasilitator pemberian Makanan pembuatan PMT Penyuluhan berbahan dasar pangan lokal dengan pelatihan fasilitator metode demonstrasi. Dari hasil kegiatan ini, tidak terdapat perbedaan antara sebelum dan setelah pemberian makanan tambahan. Diketahui sebesar 80% balita tergolong normal, 16% balita tergolong pendek, dan 4% balita tergolong sangat pendek.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the potential of kalelo yogurt as supplementary feeding to prevent stunting. This type of research was pre-experimental with the Post-test only design method with the yogurt formula treatment. The statistical analysis used was Complete Randomized Design (CRD) 3 X 2 followed by Duncan test to see the difference in each formulation. And the organoleptic test of kalelo yogurt was processed using the Analysis Of Variant (ANOVA) test and Duncan test to see the level of difference significant at α level of 0.05. Results: The best formula of kalelo yogurt based on nutrient content was F1, which was consumed simultaneously with other foods to increase its nutritional value. While organoleptic tests showed F3 as the best product, with a rating level of (somewhat dislike-neutral). Based on the test results, the panelists still did not like kalelo yogurt very much, as it can be seen from the results of panelist evaluations ranging from somewhat dislike to neutral (4-5). This could be due to the aroma, taste and texture that were different from a solid yogurt. With increasing incubation time, microbial activity increases and the number of microbes increases, resulting in the pH of the medium decreasing. The best kalelo yogurt product from organoleptic and nutrient content was F3 and F1, respectively. The nutritional, energy and micronutrient content of the three formulas were not significantly different. To fulfill the nutritional needs of sufficient numbers requirements, pregnant women are advised to consume several times a day accompanied by other foods.

Abstract

Food is needed by all age groups, including school-age children for the process of growth and development. The results of the 2018 East Java Province Riskesdas showed that the percentage of the age group ≥ 5 years was lacking in vegetable and fruit consumption, namely 93.9%. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of education through power point media and infographic media about vegetables and fruit for school children at SDN Sidosermo 1 Surabaya. The type of research used is Quasi Experimental with the type of One-Group Pretest Posttest Design. Data collection is done by questionnaire. The number of research samples was 40 people. Statistical test using the Wilcoxon Signed Rank Test. Based on the results of the study, it was obtained that the value of p = 0.00, namely p <a 0.05, which indicates that there is an effect before and after being given education through power point media and infographic media on increasing knowledge, attitudes and actions about vegetables and fruit in class school children 5 at SDN Sidosermo 1 Surabaya.

Abstract

One of the effects of obesity is irregular menstrual cycles. In addition to obesity, menstrual regularity can be affected by physical activity. The aim of the study was to determine the relationship between obesity nutritional status and physical activity with the menstrual cycle in female students of the Department of Nutrition, Poltekkes Surabaya. Methods: Analytic observational research using a cross sectional approach. Data collection by measuring body weight, height, menstrual cycle interviews, and physical activity interviews used the PAL Questionnaire. The number of samples is 55 female students with simple random technique. Assessment of nutritional status using the BMI index. Statistical test using the Spearman test. The results showed that the highest frequency of respondents with nutritional status was not obese (78.2%), light physical activity (94.5%), and had normal menstrual cycles (70.9%). Statistical test between obesity nutritional status and menstrual cycle (p=0.074), physical activity and menstrual cycle (p=0.262). This study shows that there is a relationship between obesity nutritional status and the menstrual cycle and there is no relationship between physical activity and the menstrual cycle in female students of the Department of Nutrition, Poltekkes Surabaya.
