Abstract

Purpose-Several internal and external elements impact an organization's performance. This study examines organizations' performance using both internal and external elements. Organizational capabilities are the internal aspects of the study, whereas supply chain management practices and supply chain responsiveness are the external factors. These three elements are believed to have a significant impact on an organization's performance. Design/Methodology/Approach-The study population focused on furniture micro, small, and medium-sized enterprises in Yogyakarta, Indonesia. The research data were collected through questionnaires administered to respondents, and the results of 50 respondents were obtained. Then, a model analysis was applied using Smart PLS. Findings-Supply chain management practices positively impact organizational performance, and supply chain responsiveness improves organizational performance. Organizational capabilities also have a favorable effect on organizational performance. If these three elements can be effectively utilized, it will enhance organizational performance. Research limitations/implications-Micro, small, and medium-sized enterprises must understand the importance of supply chain management and maximize its use to promote improvements in organizational performance. Business actors must maximize their efforts to achieve organizational success by considering other aspects, such as organizational capabilities. Originality/value-Research on organizational performance is currently lacking, especially in the case of micro, small, and medium-sized enterprises that are specifically associated with particular industries. Government rules, strategy orientation, and green supply chain management are just a few of the external and internal factors that have been the subject of prior research on organizational performance. As a result, this study examines the characteristics of supply chain management practices, supply chain responsiveness, and organizational capabilities in order to measure the performance of furniture micro, small, and medium-sized enterprises in Yogyakarta, Indonesia.

Abstract

The driving factors of intentions as a used cooking oil collection facility: a conceptual model. The reverse logistics (RL) flow characteristics include scattered supply sources and uncertain supply quantities. This characteristic also applies to the flow of used cooking oil, which is one of the ends of used products that can be managed through RL activities. In addition, there is no regular mechanism for collecting used cooking oil from food service businesses and households. The current collection process is handled by third parties whose main aim is for economic gain. On the other hand, to create a sustainable cooking oil supply chain that provides economic benefits and realizes environmental sustainability and social responsibility, it is necessary to take responsibility for food service business actors as producers of used cooking oil. This form of responsibility can be in the willingness to serve as a facility for collecting used cooking oil. The willingness of a food service business to serve as a collection facility is, of course, influenced by certain factors. This research proposes a conceptual model of the driving factors for the willingness of food service businesses to serve as used cooking oil collection facilities. This conceptual model was built based on a literature review and adjustments to the current RL flow conditions of the used cooking oil. The conceptual model formed can be used as a basis for empirical research on food service business actors.

Environmental attitudes are positively impacted by green advertising. Environmental attitudes are positively impacted by eco labels. Environmental attitude is positively impacted by environmental responsibility. Green purchase behavior is not positively impacted by environmental attitude. Additionally, it was discovered that the impact of green advertising on green purchase behavior was not mediated by environmental attitude. Green purchase behavior and eco labeling was not mediated by environmental attitude. Environmental responsibility and green purchase behavior was not mediated by environmental attitude.Theoretical Contribution/Originality: This study demonstrates a negative influence, underscoring the persistently high level of consumer skepticism, in contrast to other research that typically finds a positive association green advertising and green purchase behavior. The insignificant mediation role of environmental attitude provides a new perspective on how psychological factors and consumer behavior interact in the context of sustainability.Practitioners/Policy Implications: Companies need to adopt more transparent and credible communication strategies in implementing green advertising in order to overcome consumer skepticism.Research Limitations/Implications: This study used quantitative methods that may not capture the deeper psychological and emotional aspects related to green purchasing decisions. Therefore, future research should explore qualitative approaches to understand consumer motivations more deeply and integrate external factors that may influence green purchase behavior.

Abstract

This study investigates how CEO financial literacy influences technological innovation in Indonesian MSMEs, with risk-taking and management control systems (MCS) as sequential mediators. The key contribution lies in advancing a dual-path mediation model that links individual financial competence to organizational innovation in emerging market contexts. Using PLS-SEM on data from 113 MSME CEOs across Java, findings reveal that CEO financial literacy directly promotes innovation, while risk-taking alone does not mediate this effect. However, MCS significantly mediates the relationship, and both variables jointly form a significant sequential path. These results highlight the importance of CEO financial literacy not only as a strategic resource but as a driver of internal capability development. For managers and policymakers, the findings emphasize that financial literacy must be paired with robust internal control systems to accelerate innovation and long-term competitiveness in MSMEs.
