Abstract

Introduction: HIV is a virus that can be caused by the Acquired Immunodeficiency Syndrome (AIDS). The HIV virus that is increasingly spreading or severe will lead to and cause AIDS. White blood cells are attacked by the HIV virus and cause damage to a person's immune system. This virus spreads rapidly and the African continent is its root and origin. No one has ever found a medicine to cure someone from this disease. A person's change from children to adults is definitely physical, attitude, and others experience changes. HIV/AIDS can arise if a person's changes are not appropriate. Objective: Health education regarding the prevention of HIV/AIDS can help educate the students of SMKN 1 Ciamis on how to keep the spread of HIV/AIDS and avoid various HIV/AIDS viruses. Method: Health education research is used in the HIV/AIDS risk prevention education method in the Adolescent Range. This health education was conducted with 36 students at SMKN 1 Ciamis, Ciamis Regency, with 15 respondents as respondents. Result: Results of health education on HIV/AIDS risk prevention in adolescents at SMKN 1 Ciamis. There are still students who don't seem to understand about the spread of HIV/AIDS, even their concern for HIV/AIDS is still very porly understood. This will actually cause harm to a group of teenagers and their surroundings, for example promiscuity in adolescence, bringing negative sources to adolescents, causing the spread of HIV/AIDS. Conclussion: Results of health education on HIV/AIDS risk prevention in adolescents at SMKN 1 Ciamis. Previously given counseling on HIV/AIDS prevention, there were students who did not understand HIV/AIDS prevention, but after being given knowledge about definition of HIV/AIDS, HIV/AIDS prevention, reason HIV/AIDS, ways of transmitting HIV/AIDS, it showed that students understood little the importance of preventing HIV/AIDS.

Abstract

Objective: To present care with the intervention of applying positive aspects of ability to increase self-actualization for patients with low self-esteem. Method: This case study design with a nursing care approach which includes assessment, determining diagnoses, nursing plans, nursing actions and nursing evaluations. In this case study the method used is descriptive analytic. The subject of this case study is 1 client with low self-esteem in the Tanjung BLUD Room, Banjar City General Hospital. With data collection techniques include interviews, observation and documentation studies. Results: The results of nursing care, it was found that subjective data was rejected by a woman, often locked herself at home because she felt ashamed and was often ridiculed by her friends, patients did not participate in activities in the community. And the objective data are low and weak voices, speech is not audible, the patient looks restless, confused and looks sad, the patient sometimes seems to be talking to himself, his eyesight is lacking, eye contact is lacking, the patient looks a little lowered and his concentration is easily distracted. There are nursing problems found, namely low self-esteem. So that the intervention given is the application of positive aspects of ability.  Conclusion: The intervention of applying positive aspects of ability is proven to be effective in increasing self-actualization of patients with low self-esteem. As long as the recommended action is the patient is cooperative.

Abstract

Introductions: Cases of early marriage are now common in various parts of the world. This is of particular concern, considering the many risks that will arise in early marriage or forced marriage, pregnancy at a young age, sexual intercourse at an early age, namely: Sexually transmitted infections, the risk of complications that will occur during pregnancy or childbirth, so can increase maternal and infant mortality. Aims: This study aims to determine the relationship between the knowledge of young women and the risk of early marriage in the working area of the Ciamis Health Center. Methods: The research used a quantitative correlation method with a cross-sectional approach. The population in this study were all pregnant women and mothers who had given birth under the age of 20 in the working area of the UPTD Ciamis Health Center, Ciamis Regency, with as many as 30 respondents. the sample in this study uses Total Sampling. Results: Of the 30 respondents, 1 person had good knowledge (3.3%), 16 people had sufficient knowledge (53.3%) and 13 people had less knowledge (43.3%). out of 30 respondents, 26 people were not at risk of early marriage (86.7%) and as many as 4 were at risk of early marriage (13.3%). Conclusions: Based on the results of statistical tests using the Chi-Square test, a p-value of 0.632 was obtained, when compared to α (0.05), the p-value was more significant than the value of α (0.632 > 0.05), so Ho failed to be rejected, which means that there is no relationship between adolescent knowledge daughter with the risk of early marriage in the Working Area of the UPTD Puskesmas Ciamis.

Abstract

Latar belakang: Stunting adalah keadaan dimana tinggi badan berdasarkan umur rendah, atau keadaan dimana tubuh anak lebih pendek dibandingkan dengan anak lain seusianya. Pada jangka panjang stunting  menyebabkan gangguan perkembangan motorik dan kognitif, fungsi-fungsi tubuh tidak seimbang, postur tubuh tidak maksimal saat dewasa dan saat tua beresiko terkena penyakit berhubungan dengan pola makan. Salah satu pencegahan stunting adalah dengan peningkatan pengetahuan pada kader. Tujuan : tujuan pengabdian masyarakat ini adalah peningkatan kognitif pada kader sebagai upaya pencegahan stunting di Desa Linggasari. Metode :  (i) Identifikasi tingkat pengetahuan kader tentang stunting (ii) Sosialisasi melalui penkes dan leaflet, dan (iii) Evaluasi. Hasil : Jumlah kader yang mengikuti kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat sebanyak 25 orang. Dari evaluasi kegiatan diperoleh kader telah memahami tentang pencegahan stunting dibuktikan dengan peningkatan pengetahuan. Kesimpulan : Pengabdian masyarakat terkait peningkatan kognitif di Linggarsari dihadiri oleh 25 kader dengan hasil terdapat peningkatan kognitif terkait pencegahan stunting

Abstract

The problem that arises when a student faces a thesis for no apparent reason is that some students feel anxious because they think that a thesis is something difficult to do. Sometimes this feeling of anxiety arises before the student tries to work on each stage of the thesis preparation. Anxiety affects student learning outcomes, because anxiety tends to produce confusion and distortion of perception. The method in this study is descriptive, which is research conducted to determine the value of independent variables, either one or more variables (independent) without making comparisons, or connecting with other variables. The population in this study were all final year students in the Nursing Science Study Program of STIKes Muhammadiyah Ciamis as many as 62 people. Sampling in this study used a total sampling technique, namely the entire population was used as a research sample. The results showed that the anxiety level of students in facing the final project was mostly anxious as many as 26 people (41.9%), and the perception of the final project in the Nursing Study Program of STIKes Muhammadiyah Ciamis was mostly positive as many as 34 people (54.9%). Most of them were positive, namely 34 people (54.8%).

Abstract

Purpose: this study was to determine the relationship of social media to beauty insecurity in generation z women. Methods : The method is quantitative, with a cross-sectional approach, data collection using a questionnaire distributed through Google form. Participants in this study amounted to 50 respondents. This research was conducted in March 2022. Results: the results of the study, out of 50 respondents who do not actively use social media, only 3 people (6%) had a positive impact. While active users of social media are 47 people (94%) with 16 people (32%) getting a positive impact from beauty insecurity and 31 people (62%) getting a negative impact from beauty insecurity. The most widely used social media is WhatsApp as many as 50 people (100%) while the least used is Facebook as many as 26 people (52%). It can be seen that the majority of women from generation z are active users of social media as many as 47 people (94%). Of the 50 respondents with the highest score, 38 (76%) felt the negative impact of beauty insecurity and the results of the Chi-Square statistical test obtained -value (0.003) < value (0.05). Conclusion: The conclusion of this study is that the highest frequency of the negative impact of beauty insecurity is 38 respondents with 76%. The social media with the highest frequency is WhatsApp with 100%. Thus, there is a significant relationship between social media and beauty insecurity in generation z women by obtaining a value (0.003).

Abstract

Hallucinatory disorders are one of the nursing problems that can be found in patients with mental disorders. One of the most common types of hallucinations is auditory hallucinations. Auditory hallucinations can be ringing sounds or noises that have no meaning, but are more often heard as a meaningful word or sentence. One therapy for hallucinations is Group Activity Therapy (TAK). Objective: To determine the effect of group activity therapy sessions 1-2 on controlling hallucinations. Methods: This study uses a quantitative method with a quasi experiment. Sampling with purposive sampling technique is as many as 6 respondents. This study was conducted on March 15-23 2022. Results: showed that patients with hallucinations were able to control hallucinations after the implementation of TAK Sessions 1-2 with the results of comparative analysis, the pretest 3.7, posttest 8.4 and p value=0.01. Conclusion: there is an effect of group activity therapy sessions 1-2 on controlling hallucinations in hallucinating patients.

Abstract

Introduction: Menopause is the permanent cessation of menstruation. Menopause is a normal life event, not a disease. This period is characterised by the cessation of menstruation as estrogen is not produced. This condition is a very ageing process in every woman. Women experiencing menopause need support from close people such as husbands, friends, and family. The readiness of mothers in facing menopause is influenced by several factors, such as education level, knowledge about menopause, socioeconomic factors that affect the body and health. Objective: To determine the relationship between knowledge and mothers' readiness to face menopause at Posyandu Sukasari Dahlia 2, Ciamis District. Method: This research is a study that uses quantitative methods, which wants to prove whether or not there is a relationship between the level of knowledge and the readiness of mothers in facing menopause at Posyandu Sukasari Dahlia 2, Ciamis District. The research was conducted in July 2023. This study included quantitative research using a cross-sectional analytic design. The population in this study were all mothers in Posyandu Sukasari Dahlia 2 Ciamis District. The population in this study amounted to 45 respondents, with total sampling technique. Result: The results showed that 40 respondents (88.9%) had sufficient knowledge, and the readiness of mothers to face menopause was 37 people (82.2%). Conclusion: Based on the research conducted, it can be concluded; the level of knowledge in the category is sufficient with a total of 40 respondents. Mother's readiness in facing menopause is categorised as ready, namely 37 respondents. There is no relationship between mother’s readiness in facing menopause at Posyandu Sukasari Dahlia 2 Ciamis District with a p value = 0.083 (p <0.05).

Abstract

Background & Objective: Menstruation is the periodic discharge of blood and body cells from the uterine wall of the vagina. The effect of menstruation is the risk of anemia in adolescents. The appearance of menstrual anemia will hurt the growth and development of adolescent girls, such as decreased concentration and learning ability, impaired growth, resulting in unsatisfactory height, decreased physical strength, and pale skin. This study aimed to determine the difference in Haemoglobin levels before and after menstruation in female students of STIKes Muhammadiyah Ciamis DIII Health Analyst Study Program. Method: This research is a descriptive study with a purposive sampling technique conducted from January to June 2021. Respondents in this study were level 2 female students year students of the D-III Health Analyst Study Program at STIKes Muhammadiyah Ciamis as many as 31 respondents—were measured using the CyanmetHaemoglobin method with the instrument used, namely the Photometer tool. The examination results were processed manually and displayed in table format for narration. Result: The examination results of Haemoglobin levels before menstruation averaged 13.1 g/dL and Haemoglobin levels after menstruation averaged 11.9 g/dL. Conclusion: It can be concluded that the average results show a decrease in Haemoglobin levels when experiencing menstruation.

Abstract

Rheumatoid arthritis is the most common articular inflammatory disease in the elderly. Rheumatoid arthritis is a chronic, systemic disease that typically develops slowly and is characterized by recurrent inflammation of the diarthrodial joints and associated structures. According to the Ciamis District Office, from the entire Ciamis District Health Center, 17,492 cases of rheumatoid arthritis were diagnosed. To determine the effect of elderly exercise on pain scale in patients with rheumatoid arthritis at the Ciamis Public Health Center. This research method is a pre-experimental design in the form of one group One-Shot Case Study. The population in this study were the elderly aged 45-59 years as many as 129 people. The sampling technique in this research is accidental sampling. The sample in this study were the elderly aged 45-59 years as many as 56 people. The results of the study stated that there was an influence of elderly exercise on the pain scale in patients with rheumatoid arthritis at the Ciamis Health Center, with the significance value of the Wilcoxon test results showing (P = 0.029 <0.05). This means that rheumatoid arthritis can be reduced by doing sports, one of which is by doing elderly gymnastics. Exercise that is done regularly can strengthen the muscles around the joints, reduce pain or aches, improve balance and provide more energy in the body. Conclusion is elderly exercise can affect the pain scale of rheumatoid arthritis sufferers
