Abstract

Latar Belakang: Lanjut usia merupakan tahap terakhir dari proses pertumbuhan seorang manusia. Pada lanjut usia terjadi perubahan baik secara biologis, emosional maupun psikososial yang berpotensi memunculkan masalah kesehatan, dimana salah satunya adalah terjadinya kecemasan.Tujuan: Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui gambaran kejadian dan tingkat kecemasan pada lanjut usia.Metode: Desain pada penelitian ini adalah deskriptif, dengan populasi lanjut usia sesuai dengan kriteria inklusi dan kegiatan Posyandu dilakukan di Desa Wedani Cerme Gresik, pada 23 Juni 2018 dimana lanjut usia turut mengunjungi. Teknik pengambilan sampel menggunakan total sampling dengan sampel sebanyak 41 responden. Pengumpulan data menggunakan kuesioner Hamilton Anxiety Rating Scale. Etical Approvel oleh Fakultas Keperawatan Universitas Airlangga nomor 771-KEPK, 23 April 2018.Hasil: Hasil penelitian ini 56% tidak terjadi kecemasan dan 44% terjadi kecemasan, dimana seluruhnya dengan tingkat kecemasan ringan.Kesimpulan: Kemunduran yang terjadi pada lanjut usia dapat mengakibatkan kecemasan pada sebagian orang, dan tidak pada sebagian yang lain. Perhatian, rasa aman dan penyediaan fasilitas kesehatan sangat penting diberikan kepada lanjut usia untuk mencegah terjadinya kecemasan dan solusi bagi yang mengalami kecemasan.

Abstract

Background and aims. Covid-19 is currently a global health problem, with the spread and transmission to the population almost all over the world. This has a psychological impact on the elderly which will affect mental health and quality of life. This study aims to identify the relationship of depression, anxiety, coping strategies with the quality of life of the elderly during the covid-19 pandemic in Lamongan. Method and materials. This study uses a cross sectional design, the population is all the elderly in the Lamongan area. The sampling technique used cluster sampling technique, with a total sample of 232 respondents. The independent variables are depression, anxiety and coping strategies, while the dependent variable is the quality of life of the elderly. Instruments for depression used the Geriatric Depression Scale (GDS 15), anxiety using the Geriatric Anxiety Inventory (GAI) and quality of life using the WHOQOOL-BRIEF questionnaire. Data were analyzed using the Multiple linear regression test.Result. The results showed that there was a relationship between depression and quality of life (ρ=0.001), there was a relationship between anxiety and quality of life (ρ=0.000) and there was also a relationship between coping strategies and quality of life (ρ=0.027). Conclusion. The study provides important information about the psychological impact of developing appropriate psychological interventions to improve mental health and quality of life, especially for at-risk groups, especially the elderly.

Abstract

ABSTRAKLatar Belakang Kelainan yang dimiliki oleh anak berkebutuhan khusus menimbulkan berbagai reaksi dari ibu yang memicu terjadinya kecemasan akibat tuntutan yang tinggi agar anaknya bisa hidup normal seperti anak-anak lain pada umumnya. Rentang respon yang dimiliki ibu mulai dari sangat mencemaskan akan keberadaan di lingkungan sekitar akibat kekurangan yang dimiliki hingga bersikap realistis dan objektif dalam menerima kondisi anaknya.Tujuan. Penelitian ini untuk mengetahui hubungan antara pengetahuan dengan tingkat kecemasan ibu dalam mendampingi anak berkebutuhan khusus di SLB Cerme Kabupaten GresikMetoda. Penelitian Desain penelitian ini menggunakan desain deskriptif analitik observasional dengan pendekata Cross Sectional. Responden pada penelitian ini adalah 42 ibu dari anak berkebutuhan khusus yang sekolah di SLB Cerme. Tehnik pengambilan sampel dengan menggunakan purposive sampling.Hasil. Berdasarkan uji statistic dengan menggunakan Korelasi Sperman Rank diketahui ada hubungan antara pengetahuan (p=0.000) dengan tingkat kecemasan (p=0.000) ibu dalam mendampingi anak berkebutuhan khususKesimpulan. Hasil ini menunjukkan bahwa pemahaman tentang anak berkebutuhan khusus harus dimiliki oleh ibu dalam mendampingi anak berkebutuhan khusus agar tidak mudah mengalami kecemasan.Kata Kunci : Pengetahuan, Kecemasan, anak Berkebutuhan Khusus,. This research is to know the relationship between knowledge with mother's anxiety level in assisting children with special needs in SLB Cerme Kabupaten GresikMethod. Research The design of this study used descriptive analytic observational design with Cross Sectional. Respondents in this study were 42 mothers of children with special needs who school at SLB Cerme. Sampling technique using purposive sampling.Results. Based on statistical test using Rank Sperman correlation, there is known relationship between knowledge (p = 0.000) and anxiety level (p = 0.000) of mothers in assisting children with special needsConclusion. Abstract

Shadow teacher in their profession are always dealing with special needs children who have intellectual impairment, behavioral and emotional disorders and learning disorders. This is an exhausting job because shadow teachers should be able to ensure that the child is always adaptive during the lesson. Shadow teacher also must know how to adapt to the child’s character, and this task also spends a lot of time. However, the existence of children in the class is not supported by good learning guidelines. The purpose of this study was to explore the experience of shadow teachers with the child with special needed. This qualitative research used Interpretative phenomenology research design and data analysis used interpretative phenomenology analysis approach. Data collection process used in-depth interviews and observations, and this research involved six participants. This research produced 9 themes: (1) believe that this work is a blessing from Allah, (2) feel that there is a wisdom from helping each others (3) exhausting for mind and emotions, (4) feel not confident at the beginning of his profession, (5) havea feeling that this job is a meaningful job, (6) believe that the children can be disciplined with strict rules, (7) believe that visualization is the way to make children’s focus increased, (8) feel that togetherness must be build together with the children, and (9) feel that government and society’s concern to these children with special needs is still lacking. Guiding and leading children with special needs is hard to do, but if this job is done with a wholehearted feeling it can make an incredible effort and can make the children with special needs can live peacefully in the middle of society.Shadow teacher in their profession are always dealing with special needs children who have intellectualimpairment, behavioral and emotional disorders and learning disorders. Abstract

Hipertensi masih menjadi masalah utama gangguan kesehatan teruatama pada lansia. Prevalensi penderita hipertensi di Indonesia dan Jawa Timur semakin meningkat setiap tahunnya. Tekanan darah yang tidak terkontrol banyak diakibatkan karena tingginya konsumsi garam dan kurangnya pengetahuan. Penatalaksanaan hipertensi bisa dilakukan dengan terapi nonfarmakologi salah dengan hydrotherapy. Tujuan kegiatan pengabdian ini adalah untuk memberikan pelatihan berupa pengelolaan hipertensi, pengaturan menu rendah garam, serta terapi rendam kaki dengan air hangat. Sasaran pengabdian ini adalah lansia penderita hipertensi di Desa Dlanggu dengan 2 mitra yaitu Desa Dlanggu yang dikoordinatori oleh bidan desa dan Puskesmas Deket Kabupaten Lamongan. Metode pengabdian ini dilakukan dengan memberikan penyuluhan serta pelatihan, kemudian melakukan demonstrasi pengaturan menu rendah garam dan rendam kaki air hangat (hydrotherapy) dan evaluasi terhadap kegiatan yang sudah dilakukan. Hasil pengabdian ini adalah terjadi peningkatan pengetahuan lansia (p=0,026) dan terjadi penurunan tekanan darah baik systole (p=0,019), maupun tekanan darah diastole (p=0,032) sebelum dan setelah pelatihan selama 2 sesi. Kegiatan pengabdian ini bermanfaat bagi lansia penderita hipertensi berupa pengetahuan yang meningkat, peningkatan ketrampilan dalam pengelolaan hipertensi terutama pengaturan menu rendah garam, serta ketrampilan dalam pelaksanaan terapi rendam kaki air hangat. Hypertension management and hydrotherapy Training to increase knowledge and reduce blood pressure Hypertension is still a major health problem, especially in the elderly. The prevalence of hypertension sufferers in Indonesia and East Java is increasing every year. Uncontrolled blood pressure is mostly caused by high salt consumption and lack of knowledge. Management of hypertension can be done with non-pharmacological therapy, which is hydrotherapy. The purpose of this activity is to provide training for managing hypertension, setting a low-salt menu, and doing hydrotherapy. The target of this service is the elderly with hypertension in Dlanggu Village with 2 mitra, namely Dlanggu Village which is coordinated by the midwife and the Deket Public Health Center, Lamongan Regency. The method in this activity is to provide counseling and training, then demonstrate a low-salt menu and warm foot soaks (hydrotherapy) and evaluate the activities that have been carried out. The results of this activity were an increase in the knowledge of the elderly (p=0.026) and a decrease in both systolic blood pressure (p=0.019) and diastolic blood pressure (p=0.032) before and after training for two sessions. This activity is beneficial for elderly people with hypertension. the elderly has increased knowledge and skills in managing hypertension, especially setting a low-salt menu, as well as skills in implementing warm water foot soak therapy (hydrotherapy).
