Abstract

The development of information technology has encouraged digital transformation in healthcare services, including patient registration systems in hospitals. The implementation of online registration systems aims to improve service efficiency, reduce patient waiting times, and facilitate public access to healthcare services. Grandmed Hospital Lubuk Pakam has implemented an online patient registration system through the Mobile JKN application and the E-Reservation Grandmed system. However, the utilization of this system is still not optimal compared to direct registration at the hospital counter. This study aimed to analyze the implementation of the online patient reservation registration system at Grandmed Hospital Lubuk Pakam based on system quality, information quality, and service quality aspects. This study employed a qualitative approach using a case study design. Data were collected through in-depth interviews, observation, and documentation. The informants were selected using purposive sampling and consisted of three participants. The collected data were analyzed using qualitative analysis through the stages of data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing. The results showed that the implementation of the online patient reservation registration system at Grandmed Hospital Lubuk Pakam has generally been well implemented. In terms of system quality, the use of the Mobile JKN application and E-Reservation Grandmed facilitates patient registration and helps reduce queues at the registration counter. Abstract

Fire is a type of disaster that frequently occurs in various countries and has the potential to cause significant losses, both in the form of material damage and loss of life. In such conditions, firefighters play a very important role, especially in fire extinguishing efforts and victim evacuation. The performance of firefighters is influenced by various factors, both internal and external to the organization. This study aims to identify and analyze factors related to the performance of firefighters at the Lubuk Pakam Fire Department, Deli Serdang Regency. The study used a quantitative method with a cross-sectional design. The study population included all firefighters serving at the Deli Serdang Fire Department, totaling 30 people. The sampling technique used the total sampling method. Data collection was carried out using a questionnaire covering the variables of facilities and infrastructure, training, counseling, and officer performance. The data obtained were then analyzed using the Chi-Square test with a 95% confidence level. The results showed that 53.3% of respondents had good performance. The results of the study showed a significant relationship between infrastructure (p=0.008) and training (p=0.021) with firefighter performance. Conversely, the community outreach variable did not show a significant relationship with officer performance (p=0.586). Based on these findings, it can be concluded that internal organizational factors, particularly the availability of work facilities and training, play a significant role in improving firefighter performance. Therefore, relevant agencies are advised to continue improving the quality of facilities and infrastructure and to conduct regular training to strengthen officer competency in dealing with fire emergency situations

Abstract

The implementation of occupational safety principles plays a very important role for officers who handle B3 medical waste, considering that they interact directly with hazardous and toxic materials. This effort aims to create a safe, healthy, and pollution-free work environment, so as to minimize the occurrence of work accidents and health problems due to exposure in the workplace. This study uses a qualitative approach with the aim of exploring in depth the implementation of occupational safety in B3 medical waste processing officers at the Pagar Merbau Health Ceter, Deli Serdang Regency. There were three informants in this study, and data were obtained through observation and in-depth interviews. The results of the study showed that the implementation of occupational safety in the field has not been running optimally. One of the main obstacles is the lack of consistency of officers in using Personal Protective Equipment (PPE). Based on these results, it is recommended that K3 officers be more intensive in providing direction and supervision of the use of PPE and the implementation of work procedures according to applicable standards. This is important to ensure the safety and comfort of work for officers involved in the management of B3 medical waste.
