Abstract

Kegiatan sertifikasi memiliki peranan penting dalam pengembangan Sumber Daya Masyarakat (SDM), khususnya dalam menjaga eksistensi negara Indonesia di dalam persaingan global di era Masyarakat Ekonomi ASEAN (MEA). LSP Unesa turut mendukung program Unesa dalam melakukan sertifikasi demi menghasilkan lulusan yang berkualitas. Revolusi industri 4.0 dan perkembangan teknologi yang tinggi membuat LSP Unesa turut berpartisipasi dalam membuat sistem sertifikasi online yang digunakan dalam melakukan uji kompetensi. Aplikasi ini diyakini nanti dapat membuat kegiatan uji kompetensi menjadi lebih efektif dan efisien, khususnya pada proses pendaftaran sertifikasi oleh mahasiswa dan penilaian uji kompetensi oleh asesor. Aplikasi sertifikasi ini bersifat paperless yang tentunya dapat mereduksi penggunaan kertas dalam kegiatan sertifikasi. Melalui aplikasi ini, LSP Unesa juga turut mendukung gerakan green dan eco campus yang sedang digalakkan oleh Unesa. Pembuatan aplikasi ini mengadopsi model pengembangan perangkat lunak waterfall. Model ini terdiri dari 5 tahapan, antara lain pendefinisian kebutuhan (requirement definition), perancangan sistem dan perangkat lunak (system and software design), implementasi dan pengujian unit (implementation and unit testing), integrasi dan pengujian sistem (integration and system testing), serta pengoperasian dan perawatan (operation and maintenance). Hasil penelitian ini membuat proses uji kompetensi menjadi lebih efektif dan efisien. Aplikasi yang paperless ini juga mendukung gerakan green dan eco campus di Unesa.

Abstract

Penelitian ini adalah penelitian pengembangan menggunakan model R & D (Research and Development). Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah mengembangkan kurikulum Program Studi S1 Pendidikan Tata Rias yang berbasis OBE (Outcome-Based Education). Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan observasi melalui angket. Pengumpulan data awal dilakukan pada para alumni S1 Pendidikan Tata Rias sebagai pengguna yang berprofesi sebagai guru. Angket juga digunakan untuk menilai produk awal berupa kurikulum yang telah dikembangkan dan dinilai oleh 4 orang ahli kemudian dianalisis menggunakan persentase. Hasil penilaian dari para ahli adalah kurikulum yang dihasilkan sudah berfokus pada capaian pembelajaran lulusan, kurikulum sudah mengembangkan keterampilan baru untuk mempersiapkan lulusan pada dunia kerja, kurikulum sudah sesuai dengan kebutuhan pengguna, kurikulum sudah menekankan pada keberlanjutan proses pembelajaran secara inovatif, interaktif dan efektif, kurikulum sudah menciptakan lingkungan pembelajaran yang kondusif, kurikulum sudah memberikan keragaman sumber belajar, strategi pengajaran pada kurikulum sudah brdasarkan capaian pembelajaran, materi pembelajaran pada kurikulum sudah mengikuti perkembangan pengetahuan dan teknologi, pembelajaran pada kurikulum sudah berorientasi pada keterampilan dalam kompetensi bidang pendidikan dan pengajaran, fasilitas pembelajaran pada kurikulum belum memadai baik dari jumlah maupun kualitas.

Abstract

MAN 2 Madiun merupakan jenjang sekolah formal dimana diberikan pendidikan umum dan pendidikan agama. Selain pendidikan formal disekolah, siswa MAN 2 Madiun membutuhkan keterampilan yang dapat digunakan untuk menghadapi berbagai tantangan hidup. Salah satu keterampilan yang dibutuhkan adalah keterampilan make up karnaval. Tujuan dari pelatihan make up karnaval adalah meningkatkan keterampilan, menumbuhkan jiwa berwirausaha dan meningkatkan lifeskill siswa. Pelaksanaan pelatihan menggunakan model pembelajaran langsung dengan metode demonstrasi. Hasil pelatihan dinilai dengan teknik observasi untuk melihat keberhasilan dari pelatihan. Hasil dari pelatihan didapatkan 25% peserta melakukan make up dengan sangat rapi dan 65% rapi, 40% peserta menggunakan kombinasi warna yang sangat baik dan 60% baik, 60% peserta membuat gambar diwajah sangat sesuai dengan desain dan 25% sesuai desain, serta 25% peserta hasil make up keseluruhan sangat baik dan 75% baik. Tanggapan peserta terhadap kegiatan pelatihan make up karnaval diperoleh hampir 100% memberikan respon yang positif.

Abstract

Abstract The Problem Based Learning (PBL) model that utilizes video media is an innovative approach to skill learning, especially in the competence of the ukel bend bun. This approach is expected to be able to improve the understanding and skills of students who have been experiencing difficulties mastering the material optimally. This study aims to examine the characteristics of learning video media, analyze the implementation of the syntax of the PBL learning model, determine the improvement of student learning outcomes, and evaluate student motivation towards the use of learning videos in the PBL model on the competence of the bending bun. The type of research uses a quantitative approach with a One-Group Pretest-Posttest design without a control group. The research sample was 31 students in grade XI TKC 2 SMKN 6 Surabaya. The data collection methods used were observation, questionnaires, and cognitive learning outcome tests. The results showed that the characteristics of video media were very feasible to use with an average validation of 90%, the implementation of PBL syntax was carried out very well with an average of 100%, there was a significant increase in learning outcomes from an average of pretest 83.06 to a posttest of 95.96 (p < 0.05), and student learning motivation was relatively high with an average score of 87.57%. This study proves that the application of a problem-based learning model by utilizing video media is effective in increasing student learning outcomes and motivation in the competence of the ukel bend bun at SMKN 6 Surabaya.Keywords : Problem-Based Learning, Video Media, Learning Outcomes, Ukel Bend Bun.

Abstract

The Peek-a-Boo coloring technique involves selecting specific parts of the hair, such as the undercoat or around the middle of the hair, which are then given a strikingly different color. One of the coloring that attracts the attention of teenagers is Peek-a-Boo hair coloring, where bright or contrasting shades of color are applied to a portion of the hair to create an interesting effect. This study aims to analyze the effect of Peek-a-Boo hair coloring on the confidence level of cosmetology education students of the class of 2022. The problems raised are how to choose the preferred color in this coloring technique, how to use Peek-a-Boo coloring on student confidence levels and find out the relationship between the use of Peek-a-Boo hair color and the confidence level of makeup students of the 2022 batch. The method used was quantitative correlation involving 40 respondents, where data was collected through a questionnaire regarding color choice and its impact on self-confidence. The results showed that 40% of respondents preferred shade colors (maroon, navy, magenta), while the confidence level of UNESA makeup students of the class of 2022 after using Peek-a-Boo hair dye showed positive results, where students had a high level of confidence after using Peek-a-Boo hair dyeing. Further analysis revealed a significant relationship between color use and confidence levels, with a Pearson correlation of 0.880 (p-value < 0.01) and a coefficient of determination (R²) of 0.768. This study confirms that the color selection in Peek-a-Boo hair coloring not only affects appearance, but also increases student confidence.

Abstract

The diversity of tribes and cultures that make prospective brides have choices in determining the bridal makeup that will be used at their wedding. This study is to determine the social environment, marketing techniques, the form of Sundanese Siger veiled bridal makeup, and to determine the dominant factors in consumer decisions in choosing Sundanese Siger veiled makeup in Banyuwangi Regency. This type of research is quantitative with 81 respondents who use Sundanese Siger veiled makeup. The results of this study indicate that the social environment, marketing techniques, and the form of Sundanese Siger veiled bridal makeup influence consumer decisions in choosing Sundanese Siger veiled bridal makeup with a significant value of 0.000 smaller than 0.005. The dominant variable influencing consumer decisions is marketing techniques with a coefficient value of 0.672. The conclusion of this study shows that the decision of prospective brides in choosing Sundanese Siger veiled makeup is influenced by various factors, especially the social environment, marketing techniques, and the form of bridal makeup itself. Of the three factors, marketing techniques are the most dominant factor influencing consumer decisions. This shows the importance of marketing strategies in attracting consumer interest, especially in the Wongsorejo Banyuwangi area. Abstract

Bridal makeup is an activity of facial makeup on the bride that aims to highlight the existing advantages and cover up facial deficiencies. In the bridal makeup process, makeup artists generally use makeup techniques starting from the eyebrows and starting from Complexion. The purpose of this study is to determine the efficiency, disadvantages, advantages, and standards of good makeup work results. This type of research is quantitative, with a data collection method using a questionnaire sheet with a total of 159 respondents from UNESA Makeup Students. The data analysis method used is the independent sample t-test statistical test using the SPSS program. The results of this study are that the makeup technique starting from the eyebrows has a value of all aspects of 23.1195 and the average calculated value of all aspects of the statement is 2.889, the makeup technique starting from Complexion has a value of all aspects of 22.679 and the average calculated value of all aspects of the statement is 2.834, and there is a significant difference between the makeup process from the eyebrows and the makeup process from Complexion. The average difference between the two groups was 0.912 with a Standard Error of 0.437. This study shows that although both techniques have their own advantages, the technique of starting from the eyebrows is more recommended for a more efficient makeup process

Abstract

The transformation of vocational education in the digital economy era demands a paradigm shift from diploma-based recognition toward a competency-based system. This study aims to analyze the role of micro-credentials and skill-based hiring practices in enhancing the employability skills of graduates from beauty vocational schools Vocational High School in Indonesia. A mixed-methods approach with a sequential explanatory design was employed. Quantitative data were collected from 212 graduates of beauty Vocational High School across East Java, West Java, and Yogyakarta through an online survey, while qualitative data were obtained via in-depth interviews with 12 salon owners, 5 HR managers from the cosmetics industry, and 8 beauty vocational teachers. The results indicate that specific micro-credentialssuch as bridal make-up, nail art, and digital beauty marketing certificates have a significant positive effect on graduates’ employability levels (β = 0.47; p < 0.001). Interviews confirmed that the industry values verified competencies and skill portfolios more highly than formal diplomas. This study underscores the urgency of integrating micro-credentials into Vocational High School curricula to strengthen the alignment between education and the needs of the modern beauty industry.
