Abstract

The importance of Learning Media is used by ATKP Medan to continuously improve the quality of learning. The problem that is often encountered in avionic learning is the limited resources available because to access avionic learning the cadets must access from the CBT LAB and cannot be from elsewhere. This is because Avionic software is only installed inside the lab and cannot be learned from outside the lab. The purpose of this research is to improve the digital avionic-Radio Theory II learning process which is packaged in multimedia animation to make it easier for cadets to learn avionic Radio Theory II without having to access it in the laboratory. The method used in this research is to use the MDLC Multimedia Development Life Cycle method, namely the Concept concept, design, material collection, assembly, testing, distribution, distribution, The resulting output is an animated video product and publication to the ISSN journal

Abstract

AbstrakPeningkatan kualitas citra pada citra satelit adalah teknik yang paling banyak dibutuhkan pada bidang pemrosesan citra satelit untuk meningkatkan visualisasi dari citra satelit tersebut. Citra satelit ditangkap dari jarak yang sangat jauh oleh satelit, sehingga mengandung terlalu banyak noise dan distorsi. Pada penelitian ini akan membandingkan metode-metode berbasis Histrogram Equalization yaitu histogram equalization, adaptive histogram equalization dan contrast limited adaptive histogram equalization untuk proses peningkatan kualitas citra hasil pengindraan jarak jauh satelit. Hasil percobaan diuji efektivitas metode yang diterapkan  dengan mengevaluasi parameter Mean Square Error dan Peak Signal to Noise Ratio. Dari hasil percobaan Metode CLAHE memberikan kinerja yang lebih baik dibandingkan metode HE dan AHE untuk  peningkatan kualitas citra satelit berbasis histogram equalization.  Kata Kunci: Citra Digital, Citra Satelit, Histogram Equalization, Adaptive Histogram Equalization

Abstract

Abstrak PT. PLN (Persero) UPK JAR SUM 1 Sumatera Utara pada pemeliharaan dan perbaikan saluran udara tegangan tinggi (SUTT) 150 kV wilayah Sidikalang-Salak sering kali ditemukan terjadinya gangguan listrik yang disebabkan oleh arus lebih atau tegangan lebih. Untuk mengatasi hal itu dibuatlah jalur pentanahan yang membuat arus gangguan dapat cepat dialirkan ke dalam tanah dan disebarkan ke segala arah. Nilai maksimum tahanan pentanahan yang diperbolehkan oleh PT PLN (Persero) jalur transmisi SUTT 150 kV sebesar 15 Ω. Jalur transmisi Sidikalang-Salak mempunyai menara sebanyak 174 dengan jenis elektroda batang atau disebut grounding rod. Jumlah elektroda yang ditanam ke dalam tanah sebanyak 4 elektroda terpasang secara paralel. Dari pengukuran gabungan 4 elektroda batang yang ditanam sedalam 4 meter mempunyai nilai tahanan sebesar 2 Ω. Nilai ini dapat diperkecil dengan pembuktian yaitu analisis perhitungan tahanan pentanahan dengan mengganti elektroda batang sedalam 4 meter yang didapat nilai tahanan pentanahan sebesar 1,56 Ω atau memakai elektroda batang dengan kedalaman 5 meter yang di dapat nilai tahanan pentanahan sebesar 1,29 Ω. Untuk daerah-daerah yang tahanan jenis tanahnya tinggi, batang pentanahan tidak praktis digunakan. Bilamana digunakan sistem counterpoise, tahanan kaki menara secara teoritis dapat dihitung dengan rumus yang ada.  Kata Kunci : Pentanahan, Resistansi, Gangguan, SUTT, Counterpoise

Abstract

The more sophisticated and prosperous human civilization along with the development of technology. The rapid development of technology has resulted in the need for electrical energy sources also increasing. The source of electrical energy is one of the supporting factors for human survival, especially for household or residential electricity needs. One of the functions of electricity in the house is as lighting, apart from that electricity functions as a support for other technologies such as turning on TVs, computers, blenders, cellphone chargers and other electronic equipment. However, the use of electricity often results in accidents such as fires, explosions and damage to electronic equipment caused by several factors such as electrical installation errors in residential homes and improper or non-standard use. This socialization aims to provide understanding to the public to understand the importance of household electrical installation standards in accordance with the Indonesian National Standard (SNI) or General Electrical Installation Requirements (PUIL) to prevent fires and other hazards.

Abstract

Converters are widely used in electric power systems, converters consist of several types, one industrial world and power electronics so that engineers conduct research and development to find out the quality of the power produced because power quality is one of the important parts in the electric power system. Abstract

Power quality is an important issue currently in the field of electrical equipment and electric power, so engineers do a lot of research on power quality. As technology develops, more and more electrical equipment is used, many electrical equipment use electronic power such as converters and others. Remembering previous research that has been carried out, namely, Simulation of AC-DC Buck Boost Converter Control with Proportional Integral Derivative (PID) using Matlab Simulink. For this reason, further research needs to be carried out with a different control system, namely fuzzy logic. By using fuzzy logic control, the simulation results show that fuzzy logic control is able to maintain the power factor value on the input side as well as the output voltage and output current values on the AC-DC buck boost converter. The rise time value shows a short and constant value based on each V reference. However, the overshoot value was not found, nor was the peak time, peak time was not found because there was no overshoot value in the output voltage and output current waveforms in the AC-DC buck boost converter simulation with a fuzzy logic controller using Matlab Simulink.

Abstract

In Indonesia, measurements of solar radiation intensity are mostly carried out at climatology stations. The relationship between radiation intensity and solar radiation duration as well as other weather parameters has not been thoroughly identified, so whether radiation intensity will influence each other or not at all on radiation duration and other weather parameters. This study aims to analyze the correlation between the intensity of solar radiation and weather factors which include the length of sunlight, average humidity, rainfall, average wind speed, and average temperature. To analyze the correlation of this study using multiple linear regression method with the help of SPSS 22 software and to calculate the potential of this study using solar panels with an efficiency of 17.72%. From the regression results, it was found that all the variables tested simultaneously had an effect, but partially only one variable had a significant effect, namely the length of solar irradiation on the intensity of solar radiation also of the five variables only rainfall which had an inverse relationship to the intensity of solar radiation. Of all the variables tested, it can explain the solar radiation intensity variable by 93.6%. However, partially only one variable has a significant effect on the intensity of solar radiation, namely the duration of solar radiation and also of the five variables only rainfall which has an inverse relationship to the intensity of solar radiation.

In 2023, The Aceh Subsystem Received An Additional 440 Mw Of Power Plants And In 2025 Will Be Energized Sutet Nagan - Sigli 275 Kv #1 Then With The Addition Of This Network There Will Be Changes In The Transmission Network. Based On The Problems Above, The Author Will Analyze The Impact That Occurs When The Conductor Enters. In This Final Project, A Simulation Is Carried Out With The Entry Of The Conductor And The Voltage Response In The Aceh Subsystem Using The Digsilent Power Factory 15.1 Application. So That The Location That Experiences High Voltage At The Main Substation Is Obtained, Both At Gi 150 Kv Or Gitet 275 Kv. The Simulation Results Show That When Energizing The Conductor Sutet Nagan - Sigli 275 Kv #1 Will Have An Impact On Overvoltage Voltage In Almost All Main Substations. In Overcoming This, It Is Highly Recommended To Install A Reactor At Gitet Sigli As A Node Substation To Improve The Voltage To Be Stable According To Pln Recommendations.

Abstract

Energi alternatif dari sinar matahari memiliki potensi besar dalam memenuhi kebutuhan energi di era modern saat ini. Salah satu teknologi yang memanfaatkan energi matahari adalah panel surya (solar cell) yang berfungsi mengubah energi matahari menjadi energi listrik. Namun, kebanyakan panel surya yang digunakan masih bersifat statis, hanya menghadap ke satu arah sehingga penyerapan energi hanya optimal pada waktu tertentu saja, terutama saat posisi matahari tepat di depan panel. Pada penelitian ini dilakukan perancangan dan pembangunan sistem solar tracker otomatis dengan menggunakan mikrokontroler Arduino Nano ATmega328 dan modul RTC (Real Time Clock) sebagai input waktu. Panel surya dirancang agar dapat bergerak secara dinamis mengikuti posisi matahari dari pagi hingga sore hari secara real-time. Sistem ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan efisiensi penyerapan energi matahari sepanjang hari. Dengan menggunakan metode perancangan berbasis waktu (time-based tracking), sistem ini mampu mempertahankan posisi panel surya agar selalu tegak lurus terhadap arah datangnya sinar matahari. Hasil yang diharapkan dari penelitian ini adalah peningkatan daya output yang dihasilkan panel serta efisiensi sistem secara keseluruhan dalam pemanfaatan energi matahari sebagai sumber energi terbarukan. Alternative energy from sunlight has great potential in meeting energy needs in today's modern era. One technology that utilizes solar energy is solar panels (solar cells) which function to convert solar energy into electrical energy. However, most solar panels used are still static, only facing one direction so that energy absorption is only optimal at certain times, especially when the sun is directly in front of the panel. In this study, the design and construction of an automatic solar tracker system was carried out using an Arduino Nano ATmega328 microcontroller and an RTC (Real Time Clock) module as a time input. The solar panels are designed to move dynamically following the position of the sun from morning to evening in real-time. This system aims to increase the efficiency of solar energy absorption throughout the day. By using a time-based tracking design method, this system is able to maintain the position of the solar panels so that they are always perpendicular to the direction of the incoming sunlight. The expected results of this study are an increase in the output power produced by the panels and the overall system efficiency in utilizing solar energy as a renewable energy source.

Abstract

Historical images, such as old documentary photographs, ancient maps, manuscripts, or printed archives, are an important part of cultural and scientific heritage that provide a visual record of the past. Many available historical images have poor image quality because camera technology at that time was still in its infancy. This study examines the optimization of the combination of CLAHE (Contrast Limited Adaptive Histogram Equalization) and Unsharp Masking to improve the quality of historical images that have poor contrast, noise, and faded details. The approach includes preprocessing (greyscale image), CLAHE parameter optimization (clip limit) with a range of 0.01, 0.02, 0.03, 0.04, 0.05, and the Unsharp Mask method with a radius parameter of 1 and an amount parameter of 0.8. The clip limit parameter will be found that has better performance. To evaluate performance, the objective metrics Mean Squared Error (MSE) and Peak Signal-to-Noise Ratio (PSNR) are used. Based on the criteria of the smallest MSE and the highest PSNR, the results showed that a clip limit of 0.01 was the most optimal parameter. This configuration proved effective in increasing contrast, sharpening detail, and minimizing noise, thus improving the quality of historical image restoration.
