Abstract

The rapid development of digital disruption has driven the healthcare sector to embrace technology as a vital tool in engaging patients as health consumers. In the pursuit of providing better services to patients, clinics now increasingly recognize the need for a system that can effectively connect clinics and patients with the ultimate goal of fostering loyalty in healthcare transactions. This research aims to implement a web-based Customer Relationship Management (CRM) application system in clinics. In the design of this research, a descriptive approach is employed, with a focus on the analysis of the requirements necessary for the implementation of CRM application systems in clinics. The research subjects involve primary care clinics located in the city of Malang, serving as samples that represent diverse clinic contexts. The research instrument used is an interview guide, enabling in-depth data collection regarding user needs and expectations. The proposed implementation of the CRM application also involves an analysis of the extent to which users respond to and accept the application. The initial stage of the research involves information analysis to comprehend the various system requirements in different clinics. Subsequently, the development of systems in these clinics is a key step in enhancing the patient experience and interactions between clinics and patients. It is crucial to closely monitor user feedback on this application, how the application affects interactions between patients and clinics, and how user responses can be interpreted into improvements in a new information system that is more user-friendly. This research will provide valuable insights into how technology and application systems can serve as effective tools in enhancing healthcare services and interactions between clinics and patients.).

Abstract

Inpatient analysis data has been calculated using the Barber Johnson indicator at Sidoarjo Regional Hospital. The purpose of this study is to perform a forecast analysis of the need for beds based on barber Johnson calculation indicators at Sidoarjo Hospital. This type of research is descriptive quantitative research with observation methods and retrospective approaches. The population in this study is all data since Sidoarjo Hospital was founded in 1956. The sample used data analysis of hospitalization for the last 3 years, namely 2020-2022. The data collection technique uses a purposive sampling technique. This research is described in trend analysis. The results showed the ideal percentage of BOR (71.7%), ideal TOI (1 day), ideal AvLOS (4 days) and BTO not ideal (71 times). Barber Johnson's chart is outside the efficient zone. There is no need for an additional bed in 2023 and 2024, but in 2025 an additional 2 beds will be required, in 2026 an additional 12 beds will be required, and in 2027 an additional 22 beds will be required. In conclusion, Sidoarjo Hospital needs additional beds in 2025-2027 so that the Tulip room can have an optimal level of efficient use of bed.

Abstract

The improvement of healthcare service quality has become the primary focus in maintaining the operational success of a hospital. Bed Occupancy Rate (BOR) serves as an indicator of the efficiency in utilizing inpatient facilities, while patient satisfaction reflects a positive response to the provided care. Although BOR has become a common benchmark, it is still unclear whether this efficiency directly impacts patient satisfaction. This study aims to evaluate the correlation between Bed Occupancy Rate (BOR) efficiency and patient satisfaction during inpatient care at RSUD dr. H. Koesnadi Bondowoso. The research method employed is analytical with a cross-sectional approach, involving the entire inpatient population from August to October 2023 (a total of 3,654 patients). A sample of 100 patients was selected using quota sampling based on the Slovin formula. The findings indicate that two pavilions, Dahlia (57.45%) and Mawar (40.94%), are inefficient in terms of BOR. In contrast, three pavilions, Teratai (92.47%), Melati (61.42%), and Bougenville (61.04%), exhibit efficient BOR. Patient satisfaction, measured among 100 respondents, reveals that 84% are very satisfied, while 16% are dissatisfied. Despite differences in BOR efficiency among pavilions, statistical analysis using the Chi-Square test shows no significant relationship (p = 0.054) between BOR efficiency and patient satisfaction at RSUD dr. H. Koesnadi Bondowoso. In conclusion, this study asserts that BOR values do not significantly impact patient satisfaction in the hospital. These findings suggest that other factors may play a role in influencing patient satisfaction during inpatient care at RSUD dr. H. Koesnadi Bondowoso, necessitating further research for a deeper understanding.
