Abstract

Most of the children in the Al Ihsan Orphanage and the Aisyiah Nanggalo Orphanage in Padang do not yet have adequate skills, so that if they leave the orphanage they are afraid that they cannot be independent. For this reason, they are fostered by providing various types of skills as a means of life, so that they can leave the institution and can even create new jobs. Unfortunately the skills given in this institution are very limited and not varied. Factors that cause the lack of variety in the types of skills provided or carried out at this orphanage are; 1) lack of experts from various types of skills and 2) lack of funds for implementation, even though there is assistance from the government and the community but not enough. The types of skills that are often carried out are sewing sewing, while the type of crafting skill has never been given. Though most orphanage children (57%) have artistic talent. For this reason, the leadership of the institution hopes that there will be training in the manufacture of handicrafts for their caregivers Based on the above problems, it was agreed with the two leaders of the Orphanage partners, that the priority issues to be resolved were related to the lack of children's skills, especially craft skills. The solution offered to overcome this problem is to do craft skills training. The type of craft given is card weaving craft. The results of this activity are that in general (81.25%) the children of the Al Ihsan and Aisyiah orphanages in Nanggalo Padang District have the ability to make hand-woven card crafts in good categories

Abstract

Masalah prioritas ditetapkan dari dua aspek, yaitu: (1) Aspek pengetahuan dan keterampilan mengolah warna dengan rumusan masalah Guru SDN 21 dan Guru SDN 25 Lubuk Lintah Padang belum dapat: (a) memahami jenis warna-warna primer, sekunder, dan tertier. (b) mengolah warna primer menjadi warna sekunder, dan tertier. (c) membuat turunan warna dalam bentuk lingkaran warna. (2) aspek teknik-teknik menggambar dengan cat air dengan rumusan masalah Guru SDN 21 dan Guru SDN 25 Lubuk Lintah Padang belum dapat: (a) memahami teknik dan proses teknik-teknik menggambar dengan cat air. (b) membuat gambar dengan cat air teknik wet. (c) membuat gambar dengan cat air teknik dry. (d) membuat gambar dengan cat air teknik mix. Solusi pemecahan masalah dilakukan dengan pendekatan: rancang bangun model, penyuluhan, dan pelatihan. Kegiatan dilakukan selama delapan bulan dengan target luaran pada: (a) Minimal 70% materi warna-warna primer, sekunder, dan tertier dikuasai peserta; (b) Minimal 70% pengetahuan teknik wet, dry and mix dengan cat air dikuasai oleh peserta; (c) Setiap peserta menghasilkan satu buah model gradasi warna dalam bentuk lingkaran warna dengan cat air; (d) Setiap peserta menghasilkan satu buah gambar teknik wet, dry atau mix dengan cat air. Seluruh target luaran tersebut sudah dapat dicapai.

Abstract

Masalah prioritas yang akan diselesaikan dilihat dari dua aspek kegiatan pembelajaran, yaitu: (1) Manajemen bahan praktikum pembelajaran dan (2) Penguasaan dan penerapan materi pembelajaran keterampilan kerajinan. Pemecahan masalah dilaksanakan dengan pendekatan: (1) Rancangbangun model dan media presentasi, (2) penyuluhan, dan (3) pelatihan. Target luaran dan hasil kegiatan adalah: (1) minimal 80% materi (a) manajemen bahan dikuasai peserta, hasil akhir sebanyak 81,12% materi dikuasai peserta, (b) pembelajaran keterampilan kerajinan dikuasai peserta, hasil akhir sebanyak 82,88% materi dikuasai peserta. (2) Telah dihasilkan produk berupa: (a) model karya montase, kolase, dan mozaik dan media presentasi, (b) identifikasi bahan praktikum dari barang bekas yang ada di sekitar murid, (c) karya montase, kolase, dan mozaik dari barang bekas.

Abstract

The main problem experienced by art and culture teachers at bukittinggi junior high school is not being able to carry out fine arts learning, so that it has an impact on the achievement of students' art learning outcomes. This is caused by several factors, including; 1) in general, the art and culture teachers of Bukittinggi Public Middle School have not mastered art material, even though fine art is one of the subjects of art and culture and must be taught from class VII to class IX. 2) in general (80%) arts and culture teachers had dance and music drama education backgrounds and only 20% had art education backgrounds. 3) in general the art and culture teachers at bukittinggi junior high school have not mastered the art learning strategy. These problems need to be solved by providing training activities on art materials and learning strategies for arts and culture teachers. The aim is that teachers can master the fine arts material and learning strategies well. The results of this activity are 1) 86.84%) teachers have mastered fine art (batik) material both theory and practice, well, 2) 89.47 %% of teachers have mastered fine art learning strategies. Thus it can be concluded, that in general the art and culture teachers at bukittinggi junior high school have been able to master fine arts material and fine arts learning strategies, so that it is expected to be able to be applied in art learning in schools.
