Abstract

Abstrac. A farmer's welfare can vary from farmer to farmer. Where a farmer can be said to be prosperous if the farmer can evaluate his life in a positive way and is satisfied with the life he has. Where life satisfaction is individual satisfaction that is comprehensive and very basic, as well as how the individual sees himself and his life. Subjective well-being also consists of two components, namely, a cognitive component (life satisfaction) and an affective component. The affective component consists of two parts, namely positive and negative effects. This study aims to see differences in the subjective well-being of dry land farmers in terms of land owners and renters. The subjects in this study were 100 farmers in Manulai II Village. Subjective well-being was measured using a research scale conducted by Hanggoro , 2015. The research hypothesis was tenant using a different test . The results of the analysis show that there are differences in the subjective well-being of land farmers and tenant farmers in Manulai II Village. Where sig (2-tailed) at 0, 00 .

Abstract

Adolescence is a developmental phase between childhood and adulthood. There are many experiences that teenagers get from the surrounding environment. These experiences are in the form of positive experiences or negative experiences that teenagers will receive in different ways. Individuals have different reactions to death events, including adolescents. The event of death can affect the development process, this is because death causes deep sorrow for adolescents. This study aims to examine the dynamics of late adolescent grief after maternal death in terms of the Kübler-Ross theory. According to Kübler-Ross, there are five stages that individuals have when experiencing grief, including denial, anger, bargaining, depression, and acceptance. Teenagers who experience maternal death will go through the five stages of grief from the Kübler-Ross. The results obtained are that some participants have not yet reached the acceptance stage because they still need time to accept the grief event that occurred. The discussion is expected to provide knowledge regarding the dynamics of late adolescent grief after maternal death in terms of the Kübler-Ross theory.

Abstract

Juvenile delinquency is a negative behavior of young people ranging from behavior that is not accepted by society to criminal acts. One of the factors driving juvenile delinquency is family harmony which based on previous research found a relationship between family harmony and juvenile delinquency. This study aims to determine the effect of family harmony on adolescents in SMA N 3 Kupang Timur students in June-July 2021. This study uses a quantitative method with a sample of 32 high school students. Data were analyzed using simple regression analysis. The results of this study found that there was an influence of the variable of family harmony with juvenile delinquency (p-value = 0.000). Meanwhile, the average family harmony score is in the low category (74.31), the average juvenile delinquency score is in the sufficient category (85.00). The conclusion in this study is that there is an influence between family harmony and juvenile delinquency. Keywords: Juvenile delinquency, family harmony

Abstract

Education is an important aspect of human life that is able to support future development. One of the important things in an effort to optimize a child's education at the elementary school level is to provide learning media and pay attention to the use of learning media in children's study rooms, this is so that the learning that takes place can run effectively. However, there are still learnings that have not been effective in several study rooms, one of which is the Alak Shelter House which is a study room for children who live in the slum area of ​​the Alak Landfill Kupang. This is related to the provision and use of learning media in the study room which is not yet optimal. This condition and situation certainly has a psychological effect on elementary school children who live in the slum area of ​​the Alak Landfill Kupang, especially in the learning process. This study aims to identify the use of learning media in elementary school children in the slum area of Alak Landfill Kupang and describe the psychological dynamics behind the effectiveness of the use of learning media.
