Abstract

Workers is are the most important factors of production within an enterprise to achieve goals and to determinethe progress of a company. The company should establish regulations regarding workers compensationespecially for pregnant and giving birth workers. The company must ensure the safety, security and comfort ofthe workforce. Therefore, the company shall establish regulations that comply with National labor Regulations.The objectives of this research was to find out whether the pregnant female workers are treated fairly regardingtheir compensations in terms of financial and non financial compensations. About 101 femake workers fromplywood industry in Central Java were chosen as respondents of this study. The results of this study showed thatrespondents perceived the implementation of regulation of wages, social security, the availability of leave, andthe protection of health and safety from the company they worked are good enough in accordance with thecompany regulationas and National labor regulations.Keywords: pregnant woman workers, compensation, justice, discrimination

Abstract

Penelitian ini dilakukan untuk mendeskripsikan dan menganalisis tanggapan buruh wanita pada industri garmen terhadap Penerapan Sistem Manajemen Keselamatan dan Kesehatan Kerja (SMK3) yang dilihat dari 4 aspek yaitu (1) Komitmen pihak perusahaan, (2) Ketersediaan dukungan tentang Sistem Manajemen Keselamatan dan Kesehatan Kerja (SMK3) yang meliputi tempat lokasi kerja, mesin dan perlengkapan alat kerja yang digunakan, kondisi tempat kerja serta pemeriksaan kesehatan dan bahan-bahan kimia, (3) Sistem kontrol perusahaan, dan (4) Kesadaran pekerja. Metode pengambilan sampel menggunakan accidental sampling, dimana pengambilan sampel dengan memilih responden yang kebetulan dijumpai. Kriteria pengambilan sampel dalam penselitian ini adalah buruh wanita yang bekerja pada industri garmen di wilayah Karang Jati, Ungaran, Jawa Tengah. Teknik analisis yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah statistik deskriptif kualitatif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan tanggapan buruh wanita terhadap 4 (empat) aspek penerapan Sistem Manajemen Keselamatan dan Kesehatan Kerja (SMK3) berupa tanggapan buruh wanita terhadap komitmen perusahaan pada penerapan K3 dan kesadaran pekerja masuk dalam kategori buruk, sedangkan tanggapan buruh wanita terhadap ketersediaan dukungan K3 terhadap lokasi tempat kerja, mesin dan perlengkapan alat kerja, pemeriksaan kesehatan dan bahan-bahan kimia masuk dalam kategori cukup baik..Kata Kunci: K3, komitmen perusahaan, buruh wanita

Abstract

Perencanaan karir sebaiknya dilakukan seorang individu sejak dini agar dapat mencapai kesuksesan karir yangdiinginkan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui gambaran perencanaan karir dan faktor-faktor yangmempengaruhi perencanaan karir yang dilakukan oleh mahasiswa Fakultas Ekonomi sebuah perguruan tinggi diJawa Tengah. Untuk memperoleh data yang diperlukan, penelitian dilakukan terhadap sejumlah 94 orangmahasiswa semester ke IV yang diperoleh dengan menggunakan teknik convenience sampling. Teknikpengumpulan data menggunakan kuesioner semi terstruktur. Penyajian data hasil penelitian diolah denganmenggunakan teknik analisis statistik deskriptif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa perencanaan karir yangdilakukan oleh responden mencakup lima tahap meliputi: Assess Yourself, Explorer careers, Create a Plan & SetGoals, Expand Skills, dan Find a Job. Masing-masing tahap dalam perencanaan karir yang dilakukan olehresponden mahasiswa dalam penelitian termasuk dalam kategori tinggi. Selain itu, terdapat beberapa faktor yangpaling besar pengaruhnya terhadap perencanaan karir mahasiswa yaitu potensi yang ada dalam diri, bakat yangdimiliki, minat terhadap bidang tertentu, pergaulan dengan teman sebaya dan faktor lingkungan sekitar.Kata kunci : perencanaan karir, mahasiswa, bakat dan minat

Abstract

Not many SMEs in Indonesia are able to enter the international market. Even if there is, still in limited quantities.This study was conducted to determine how the strategy of an SME whom able to penetrate the international marketin a relatively short time. This research is a case study using a qualitative approach. Object of this study is an SMEin Semarang district, Central Java which is engaged in the business that produces charcoal briquettes made fromcoconut shell. The products has been exported to various countries in Europe and America. Based on the resultsobtained through in-depth interview from number of key informans, shows that the success of SMEs for enteringinternational markets is highly dependent on the entrepreneurial process in the pioneering and development stagesof the business. A number of internal factors of the business owners as well as external factors such as marketopportunities, networking, and government support was found as driving factors behind the success of an SME toenter international markets.Keywords: Entrepreneurial Process, Internal Driving forces, External Driving forces, SME, International market

Abstract

CSR with a shared value creation approach is characterized by the concept of social entrepreneurship, so as to produce a new business model from the social changes that occur. The purposes of this study are to determine the process of developing social entrepreneurship in the Spice and Fruit Village CSR Program and to identify the creation of shared values ​​resulting from Sido Muncul CSR program. The research method used is qualitative in which the validity of the data is tested by the triangulation method. Data collection was carried out through interviews and observations with Sido Muncul and fostered residents for the Spice and Fruit Village Program in Bergas Kidul and Diwak Villages. The results of this study indicate that the process of developing social entrepreneurship in CSR programs is carried out through several stages, including identification of social problems, allocation of resources, collaboration and partnerships, adaptation of products and processes, and social innovation. The creation of shared values ​​resulting from the CSR program is organizational performance and social performance. Organizational performance can be seen through management support, employee commitment, company reputation, and organizational finance. Social performance can be seen through the role of social entrepreneurship, harmonious relationships between shareholders and stakeholders, social innovation, and community independence. Organizational performance has a reciprocal relationship with social performance, which can produce sustainable growth.https://doi.org/10.26905/jmdk.v8i2.4240

Abstract

Working from home was an increasing phenomenon to prevent the spread of COVID-19. Although WFH has been expendable well documented, there are still limited studies related to the subject of life balance, happiness and organizational support. This study aimed to figure out the influence of work from home on work-life balance, work-life balance on happiness, and the moderating role of organizational supports towards work from home and work-life balances. The respondents used in this research were the 94 lecturers. The study was done in a quantitative method through cross-sectional data and non-probability sampling method. The analysis model used was Path Analysis, Moderated Regression Analysis and Simple Regression test. The result of this research indicates that WFH has positive effects on WLB and WLB has positive effects on employee happiness. The testing done on moderating effect appeared that organizational support does not moderate the effects of WFH on WLB. Apart from that, theoretical and practical implications were also given in this research. The finding of this study also can be used as managerial practice for any institution and employees to be more aware of their life balances and well-being during the pandemic. For organization, this study can be beneficial to enhance several aspects in making the employees happier. This study also indicates that homeworking could become good alternatives that mutually benefit for both organizations and employees, including flexible work and improving work-life balance.

Abstract

Today's dynamic changes in the external environment require the company to make adjustments in order to survive. Employees must also be more innovative and competent to support the competitiveness of the organization. This study aims to examine the effect of learning organization and learning goal orientation on learning agility and their impact on innovative behavior. The type of research used in this research is explanatory with a quantitative approach. The research population is Generation Y employees who work in the banking sector in Central Java. The sampling technique used is judgmental sampling with the number of respondents being targeted at 145 people. However, in distributing questionnaires using goggle form, in 1 month of research, only 105 respondents could be analyzed further. The analysis technique uses Structural Equation modeling with PLS software. The results of the study found that learning goal orientation and learning organization had a positive effect on learning agility. Furthermore, learning agility was also found to have a positive effect on innovative behavior. Additional findings found that learning goal orientation and learning organization also have a direct positive effect on innovative behavior, although the effect tends to be weak Keywords: learning agility, innovative behavior, learning goal orientation, learning organization

The purpose of this study was to determine the social entrepreneurship model developed by Sido Muncul as an impact of implementing the partnership program with farmers. The research method used is qualitative in which the validity of the data is tested by the triangulation method. Data collection was carried out by interview and observation to Sido Muncul and Sido Muncul's partners. The results of this study indicate that the social entrepreneurship model produced by Sido Muncul's corporate social responsibility program consists of various driving factors, including: the importance of stakeholders, social proactivity, governance, social intrapreneurs, and local wisdom. Abstract

The paper aims to test a research model of the mediating role of satisfaction in creating loyalty of green tourists. The importance of loyalty refers to a number of unique characteristics of green tourists such as being associated with the middle class, high spenders, staying longer than common tourists, high involvement, and tolerance. By using SEM a mediation test was carried out related to the position of customer satisfaction (GCS) in mediating its decision to buy in an environmentally friendly hotel (GP) and its loyalty (GCL). Abstract

The supervisor leadership style and the perceived supervisor support toward motivation play an important role in improving employee motivation, the better motivation will also decrease turnover intention. The purpose of this research is to know the influence of supervisor leadership style, the perceived supervisor support toward motivation and its impact on turnover intention. The type this research was a quantitative research. The population of this research was the employees of production division of a Garment company in central Java  as many as 1057 employees. The samples were 197 respondents. The data were collected by distributing questionnaires. The analysis technique used was quantitative descriptive statistics by using multiple regression test and simple regression. The result of the research showed that the supervisor leadership style and the supervisor perception toward motivation had positive effect. Finally, motivation was found  negatively affecting turnover intention.
