Abstract

Peningkatan mutu menjadi semakin penting bagi institusi yang digunakan untuk memperoleh kontrol yang lebih baik melalui usahanya sendiri. Mutu menjadi faktor pembeda bagi sebuah institusi. Fokus terhadap pelanggan yang notabene merupakan poin inti dari sebuah mutu yang merupakan salah satu cara efektif dalam menghadapi kompetisi dan bertahan didalamnya.  Survei yang dilakukan untuk mengetahui tingkat kepuasan mahasiswa dalam memberikan sumbangan pemikiran yang positif bagi Fakultas Agama Islam Universitas Islam As-Syafi’iyah dalam mewujudkan institusi yang mengedepankan Ilmu dan Agama. Pada penelitian survei kepuasan terhadap kualitas pelayanan pendidikan di Fakultas Agama Islam Universitas Islam As-syafi’iyah dengan pendekatan kuantitatif. Populasi dalam penelitian ini berjumlah 249 mahasiswa yang terdiri dari tiga program studi yaitu Program Studi Komunikasi Penyiaran Islam, Program Studi Pendidikan Agama Islam dan Program Studi Perbankan Syariah. Hasil dari penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa indeks kepuasan mahasiswa terhadap layanan pendidikan di Fakultas Agama Islam Universitas Islam As-syafi’iyah secara keseluruhan adalah termasuk dalam pencapaian puas dengan indeks kepuasan terletak pada dimensi Kepastian (Assurance) dengan angka 52% dan yang paling rendah adalah dimensi bukti Fisik Layanan (Tangible) dengan angka 40%. Jika dirata-ratakan maka hasil penelitian secara keseluruhan menunjukkan indeks kepuasan mahasiswa adalah termasuk dalam pencapaian cukup puas hingga puas.

Students' attitudes and behavior that are not in accordance with school norms are a reflection of the mental health of teenagers, so as an educator, a PAI teacher has the role of leading teenagers towards the gates of success to become a generation of high spiritual quality until they achieve a healthy mentality that can bring goodness to those around them. The aim of this research is to determine the role of Islamic religious education teachers in fostering the mental health of MAN 2 Jakarta students and what factors influence Islamic religious education teachers in fostering students' mental health. This research uses qualitative methods (field research) or field research by obtaining data that naturally describes the behavior of the object being studied. Data collection procedures through observation, interviews, and documentation. Data analysis techniques include data reduction, data presentation, and conclusions. The problem of this research was answered with the results of the role of Islamic religious education teachers in fostering the mental health of MAN 2 Jakarta students, namely; learning process (1) as an educator, providing a good example, (2) as a teacher creating an effective and enjoyable learning atmosphere, (3) as a mentor, helping students overcome learning difficulties, (4) as an advisor, providing advice to students who have problems with good way. As for fostering mental health using a preventive approach; instilling Islamic values ​​in students, getting used to worship, and educating of commendable morals. And through a repressive approach; punishment/punishment and appreciation. Among the factors that influence Islamic religious education teachers in fostering students' mental health are excessive use of gadgets, lack of parental role in supervising and controlling children, and the influence of friends.

Abstract

This research is based on a phenomenon where the enthusiasm of the community to enter Islamic boarding school education (especially salaf Islamic boarding schools) has decreased quite drastically, except for (modern) Islamic boarding schools that are able to adapt to global developments. The public's pessimism towards pesantren education can be seen from the general concern about the opportunity for its graduates to enter the modern workforce which is only open to those who have the ability, skills and mastery of technology.The purpose of this study is to find out more about the description of the learning tradition applied at the Fathimiyah Islamic Boarding School and the relevance of its learning tradition in the current digital era 4.0.The method used in this study is a qualitative method that uses a type of research, namely field research. Data collection in this study uses primary data, namely observations, interviews and secondary data, namely books, pesantren profiles or documents related to pesantren.The findings show that there are several aspects that are the basis for the formation of the learning tradition at the Fathimiyah Islamic Boarding School, namely: learning methods, curriculum and materials, teacher-student relationships, values and traditions, and media and information literacy. The pesantren also strives for several competencies that are considered to be capital to be able to compete in the digital era 4.0, namely: critical thinking skills, creative thinking, communication, collaboration, interpersonal and intrapersonal skills, as well as media and information literacy skills. The restriction of access carried out by the pesantren is a form of effort to balance the management of digital literacy and technology with Islamic values that have been taught in the pesantren.

Abstract

Pendikan bertujuan mencapai pertumbuhan yang seimbang dalam kepribadian manusia secara total, melalui pelatihan spiritual, kecerdasan, rasio, perasaan dan panca indra. Oleh karena itu pendidikan memberikan pelayanan bagi pertumbuhan manusia dalam segala aspeknya;spiritual, intelektual, imaginasi, fisik, ilmiah, linguistic, baik individu maupun kolektif, kearah kebaikan dan pencapaian kesempurnaan. Al-Syaibaniy : filsafat bukanlah hikmah itu sendiri, melainkan cinta terhadap hikmah dan berusaha mendapatkannya. Juga dapat pula mencari hakikat sesuatu, berusaha menautkan sebab akibat, dan berusaha menafsirkan pengalamanpengalaman manusia. Filsafat pendidikan adalah filsafat yang memikirkan tentang masalah kependidikan. Oleh karena ada kaitan dengan pendidikan, maka filsafat diartikan sebagai teori pendidikan dalam semua tingkat. Filsafat mengkaji dan memikirkan tentang hakikat segala sesuatu secara menyeluruh, sistematis, terpadu,universal dan radikal yang hasilnya penjadi pedoman dan arah bagi perkembangan ilmu-ilmu yang bersangkutan. Pendidikan selalu diwarnai oleh pandangan hidup (way of life). Diantara pandangan hidup ialah rasionalisme. Rasionalisme ialah faham yang mengatakan bahwa kebenaran diperoleh melalui akal dan diukur dengan akal. Akal itulah alat pencari dan pengukur kebenaran. Maka filosofis pendidikan sangat penting, karena dalam proses pendidikan, kebenaran menjadi tujuan. Al-Attas (dalam Ahmad Tafsir) tujuan pendidikan Islam adalah menjadi manusia yang baik, maka tujuan pendidikan Islami adalah terbentuknya orang yang berkepribadian muslim, dengan demikandiperlukan pandangan hidup yang kokoh dan komprehensif, serta tidak mudah berubah.

Abstract

We have confirmed that Islamic education is not the same as the goals of western education, because there are differences in understanding the nature, role, and purpose of human life in the world. This is a very basic problem that is being faced in the world of Islamic education, therefore a solution must be found. The formulation of the goals of Islamic education, one of which is to deliver to the purpose of human creation, which is to become a caliph on earth as stated in the holy book of the Qur'an. The essence of Islamic education is personal development in all its aspects (body, mind, and heart). And is an activity or effort that a person does in order to achieve maximum positive development in humans. The business or activity in question can be in the form of teaching, habituation, giving examples, giving gifts and praise, as well as developing one's knowledge, skills, and life experience. In addition to being interpreted as an activity, education can also be seen as a system. Education as a system is nothing but a functional totality that is directed at one goal. The purpose of education is to achieve the target in accordance with the purpose of creating humans to become caliphs on earth, then the Qur'an and hadith are used as the basis for Islamic education. Steps are needed to reformulate the goals of Islamic education in accordance with the guidance of the Qur'an and Hadith and refer to the Islamic intellectual tradition that has brought glory and prosperity to mankind. Pendidikan Isam sudah kita pastikan tidak sama dengan tujuan pendidikan barat, oleh karena terdapat perbedaan dalam memahami hakikat, peranan dan tujuan hidup manusia di dunia. Ini adalah persoalan yang sangat mendasar yang sedamg dihadapi pada dunia pendidikan Islam, oleh karena itu harus dicari solusinya.Rumusan tujuan pendidikan Islam salah satunya adalah menghantarkan pada tujuan penciptaan manusia, yaitu menjadi khalifah di muka bumi sesuai yang ertuang dalam kitab suci al-Qur’an. Hakikat pendidikan Islam adalah pengembangan pribadi dalam seluruh aspeknya (jasmani, akal, dan hati). Dan merupakan aktivitas atau usaha yang dilakukan seseorang agar tercapai perkembangan maksimal yang positif dalam diri manusia. Usaha atau kegiatan yang dimaksud dapat berbentuk pengajaran, pembiasaan, pemberian contoh dan teladan, pemberian hadiah dan pujian, maupun pengembangan pengetahuan, keterampilan, dan atau pengalaman hidup seseorang. pendidikan selain dimaknai sebagai sebuah aktivitas, dapat juga dipandang sebagai sebuah sistem. Pendidikan sebagai sebuah sistem, tidak lain merupakan suatu totalitas fungsional yang terarah pada satu tujuan. tujuan pendidikan mencapai sasaran sesuai dengan tujuan penciptaan manusia menjadi khalifah di muka bumi, maka al-Qur’an dan hadits yang dijadikan sebagai landasan dalam pendidikan Islam. Perlu langkah untuk merumuskan kembali tjuan pendidikan Islam sesuai dengan tuntunan al-Qur’an dan Hadits serta mengacu pada tradisi intelektual Islam yang telah membawa kegemilangan dan kesejahteraan kepada ummat manusia.

Abstract

The low learning motivation of students can be shown by the lack of student activity in participating in learning. Student inactivity in the learning process can include not paying attention to the lesson, not asking the teacher about material that is not clear, and not answering questions from the teacher. Learning motivation is the driving force in students that causes learning activities, which ensure the continuity of learning activities and which provide direction to learning activities so that the goals desired by students in learning can be achieved. This study aims to determine the effect of the talking stick method on the learning motivation of eighth grade students at MTs Nurul Islam Bekasi. The sample size is all students of class VIII MTs Nurul Islam Bekasi, totaling 64 people. The research method used is descriptive correlational.The results showed that: 1) the use of the talking stick method in Akidah Akhlak subjects at MTs Nurul Islam Bekasi was quite effective (good enough), 2) students' learning motivation was in the medium category (good enough), and 3) there was a strong relationship between the two the variable with a value of r = 0.661 (with a value of p = 0.000). The conclusion is that the talking stick method has a positive and strong influence on the learning motivation of class VIII students at MTs Nurul Islam Bekasi. To increase students' learning motivation, it is recommended to use a variety of learning methods, one of which is the talking stick method so that students do not feel bored while participating in the learning process. Rendahnya motivasi belajar siswa dapat ditunjukkan dengan kurangnya keaktifan siswa dalam mengikuti pembelajaran. Ketidakaktifan siswa dalam proses pembelajaran dapat meliputi tidak memperhatikan pelajaran, tidak bertanya kepada guru tentang materi yang belum jelas, serta tidak menjawab pertanyaan dari guru. Motivasi belajar merupakan daya penggerak di dalam diri siswa yang menimbulkan kegiatan belajar, yang menjamin kelangsungan dari kegiatan belajar dan yang memberikan arah pada kegiatan belajar sehingga tujuan yang dikehendaki oleh siswa dalam belajar dapat tercapai. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh metode talking stick terhadap motivasi belajar siswa kelas VIII MTs Nurul Islam Bekasi. Ukuran sampelnya adalah seluruh siswa kelas VIII MTs Nurul Islam Bekasi yang berjumlah 64 orang. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah deskriptif korelasional. Hasil penelitian diperoleh bahwa: 1) penggunaan metode talking stick pada mata pelajaran Akidah Akhlak di MTs Nurul Islam Bekasi cukup efektif (cukup baik), 2) motivasi belajar siswa dalam kategori sedang (cukup baik), dan 3) terdapat hubungan yang kuat antar kedua variabel tersebut dengan nilai r = 0,661 (dengan nilai p = 0,000). Kesimpulannya adalah metode talking stick memiliki pengaruh positif dan kuat terhadap motivasi belajar siswa kelas VIII MTs Nurul Islam Bekasi. Untuk meningkatkan motivasi belajar siswa, disarankan agar menggunakan metode pembelajaran yang bervariasi, salah satunya yaitu metode talking stick agar siswa tidak merasa bosan saat mengikuti proses pembelajaran.

Abstract

The background of this research is the dichotomy of Islamic education. This dichotomy is the cause of the backwardness of Islamic education, so that the assumption arises that only religious knowledge must be learned. General knowledge is considered secular and not required to be learned, so that Pesantren and Madrasah are considered to represent religious education institutions, while schools are a place for general education. To revive a civilization that has experienced centuries of dullness, Muslims must advance science, technology and education integratively. This research aims to find out the concept of integrative Islamic education, as well as to answer the question of how the concept of integrative Islamic education and how the relevance of integrative Islamic education to the progress of the people and nation. This research method is library research. library research is research whose data collection techniques are carried out by library research, based on readers of literature that has information and has relevance to the research topic. Thus, library research is a series of activities related to library data collection methods, reading and recording and managing research materials. In the findings of the results of this study, integrative education is an educational paradigm that asks Muslims who study not only the sciences derived from the Quran and hadith, but also the general sciences or what is called science. Even Muslims can learn anything, integrative education thinking. The concept of integrative education is a must because it determines Muslims. Muslims are underdeveloped because of the current dichotomy of science. Therefore, the integration of Islamic education is currently very relevant. The program developed is an effort to apply science and technology to overcome the backwardness, poverty, and dependence of Muslims.

Abstract

In Islam, humans are entities with two dimensions: the material dimension (body) and the immaterial dimension (soul, spirit, mind, etc.). The body will perish with death, while the soul remains and will be resurrected on the Day of Judgment (Qur'an, Yasin 36:78-79). Humans are noble creatures, even more noble than angels (Qur'an, al-Hijr 15:29). Furthermore, humans are the only beings that receive significant attention in Islam, as evidenced by the numerous verses in the Qur'an that discuss humans from various aspects, including the different names given in the Qur'an to refer to humans, such as insan, ins, al-nas, unas, and basyar, and their implications in education. The method or approach used in this research is qualitative. Qualitative research explains and analyzes phenomena, events, social activities, attitudes, and perceptions of individuals or groups toward something. Qualitative research is scientific research that emphasizes the natural characteristics of the data sources. Based on the results of the research and analysis from various literature sources, the Islamic concept of human nature, as expressed by the terms al-insan, al-nas, and al-basyar, provides a balance between human rights and obligations as individuals, social beings, and cultural entities, as creatures of Allah SWT. Thus, if Islamic education only emphasizes the formation of a Muslim personality capable of devotion, worship, and possessing noble character, it will only produce individual piety while neglecting the mastery of science and technology. Consequently, scientific and technological advancements will be dominated by other communities. Conversely, if Islamic education focuses solely on forming a caliph on earth capable of mastering science and technology to manage nature for worldly prosperity, without balancing their role as servants of Allah SWT, humans may become intelligent but their souls and hearts will be devoid of divine light. Therefore, Islamic education should aim to develop the full potential of humans in concrete forms, possessing competencies that include both hard and soft skills. The three domains of education, namely cognitive, affective, and psychomotor, should be achieved, so the outcome of Islamic education becomes perfect.

Abstract

The field of education should serve as an example in all actions, prioritizing commendable attitudes so that students possess the ability and sense of responsibility for their work. In creating theses, students often use the same references, exhibit similarity in thesis titles, replicate research methods, and some even merely change the location and research subjects while maintaining the same topic. This study explores the level of plagiarism in 79 thesis proposals of students at the Faculty of Islamic Religion, As-Syafi'iyah Islamic University, through a recapitulation of Turnitin results. This research aims to determine the level of plagiarism in thesis proposals using Turnitin software. The research method employed is qualitative, involving the calculation of the percentage of plagiarism in students' thesis proposals. This research indicates that the plagiarism level in the introduction section of students' thesis proposals shows an average similarity index of 64%, categorized as moderate. In the theoretical study section, the average similarity index is 71%, categorized as high, while in the research methodology section, the average similarity index is 68%, categorized as moderate. In general, this information can be used as a basis for university leadership to implement tasks for students that encourage enriching references, fostering reading interests, and understanding how to paraphrase in every scholarly writing.
