Abstract

Visible Light Communication (VLC) menggunakan White Light Emitting Diode (LED) adalah teknologi untuk komunikasi jarak pendek dengan transmisi data nirkabel berkecepatan tinggi. Sistem VLC atau Visible Light Communication  merupakan suatu sistem yang dapat melakukan proses pertukaran data melalui LED atau cahaya dan pendeteksinya atau detector salah satu diantaranya photodiode. Sistem ini menggunakan proses pentransmisian melalui media udara dengan propagasi Line of Sight (LOS).

Abstract

Op amp (Operating Amplifier) is a differential amplifier that has a large gain. Op amp is very flexible and easy to apply for various purposes. One is op amp rail to rail, compiled using 0.35u technology with adjusted W and L values to obtain the expected null offset value. Vdd and Vss's short-circuited voltage makes the op amp drive like a rail to a rail or a rail to rail. The output of the op amp rail to rail in the form of swing voltage or swing voltage defines how close the op-amp output can be driven to VDD or VSS (rail to rail). Keywords: Op amp, rail to rail, null offset

Abstract

Steam power plant is a power plant which use coal as fuel to heating the water into superheated steam. The standard of efficient or not for a power plant can be seen from the value of plant heat rate. Plant heat rate is amount of energy required to generate one kWh electricity. The smallest of that is the best power plant. In general, the value of plant heat rate has increased than commisioning test after the power plant operated continously. The method used in the calculation of the steam power plant is energy balance method. Energy balance calculation method used by the standard of the American Society of Engineers Mechanichal Performance Test Code (ASME PTC). The value of plant heat rate is influenced by the value of turbine heat rate and boiler efficiency from steam power plant. Turbine heat rate is the required energy turbines obtained from heat transfer process to generate one kWh electricity, while boiler efficiency is an indicator from boiler performance of steam power plant by comparing the outputs and inputs. After calculation of plant heat rate at actual condition, the value of plant heat rate has increased than commisioning. The increrase of plant heat rate value is due to more losses which result degradation performance on the main components of the unis, such as : turbine, boiler, air heater and condenser. Therefore necessary corrective maintenance when first year inspection, so that the steam power plant can be re-optimal performance as at commisioning test.

Abstract

Perkembangan e-commerce yang pesat di tengah masyarakat mengubah cara berbelanja, dari yang awalnya terbatas secara offline menjadi lebih mudah secara online. Sekarang, seluruh masyarakat dapat berbelanja dengan nyaman dari rumah menggunakan gadget dan koneksi internet. Fenomena ini diiringi oleh maraknya marketplace yang melibatkan toko dan merek besar dalam pasar online. Penyedia aplikasi pun mengimplementasikan strategi agar pengguna merasa nyaman berbelanja online. Dalam sektor keuangan, inovasi teknologi membawa dampak signifikan. Financial technology (fintech) bukanlah hal baru, namun, adopsi skema pembayaran Buy Now, Pay Later (BNPL) menjadi daya tarik tersendiri. BNPL memberikan kemudahan pembayaran cicilan tanpa menggunakan kartu kredit. Meskipun demikian, rendahnya literasi keuangan digital dan pemahaman masyarakat terhadap perbandingan antara BNPL dan kredit perbankan menjadi tantangan. Pengabdian masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan pemahaman literasi keuangan digital dan teknologi serta membandingkan BNPL dengan kredit perbankan. Solusinya adalah memberikan edukasi dan pelatihan kepada masyarakat. Diharapkan hasilnya adalah peningkatan pemahaman masyarakat terkait literasi keuangan digital dan teknologi serta perbandingan antara BNPL dan kredit perbankan.

Abstract

Jumlah penumpang kereta api Jabodetabek (commuter line) pernah mencapai 1 juta orang per hari. Commuter line melayani 6 rute dengan 80 stasiun, padatnya jadwal kereta perlu diimbangi dengan performa kereta api salah satunya saat pengereman. Pengereman melibatkan benda berbahan logam; blok rem, roda dan lintasan (rel). Gesekan antara roda kereta dan rel saat pengereman menimbulkan energi panas. Energi yang timbul dari pengereman kereta berpeluang untuk diteliti lebih lanjut. Penulis menganalisa timbulnya energi panas sebagai energi yang terbuang saat pengereman. Proses analisa menggunakan model pengereman kereta api. Penggerak kereta api dimodelkan dengan motor Direct Current (DC), pejal baja sebagai blok rem, roda dan lintasan (rel). Sensor kecepatan terkopel dengan motor DC, hasil deteksi sensor sebagai nilai kecepatan kereta (km/jam). Pulsa luaran sensor kecepatan diinput ke kontroler Arduino Mega, bersamaan dengan massa pejal didapatkan nilai gaya gesek (Fk) pengereman. Perubahan suhu permukaan pejal mempengaruhi besar energi yang timbul saat gesekan. Suhu pejal awal (T0) dipengaruhi suhu ruangan dan suhu pejal setelah gesekan (T1), perubahan suhu dikonversi ke bentuk energi. Analisis hubungan Fk dengan energi, pengujian data pada tiga jenis pejal berbeda massa. Data kecepatan dan suhu tiap pejal dibandingkan satu sama lain. Jika gaya gesek bernilai 1,864 Newton maka nilai Energi yang dihasilkan yaitu 37,31 Joule.

Abstract

5G mobile communication technology has attracted much attention in the past three years. However, the development of antennas that can cover three types of 5G bands at once has not been studied. This paper proposes an antenna covering the three frequency bands of 2.3 GHz, 3.5 GHz, and 26 GHz for 5G communication. The proposed antenna uses a microstrip patch design with 50-ohm inset feeding. FDTD mathematical analysis through simulation has been carried out and confirmed that the proposed antenna meets the required specifications in 5G technology. The simulation result shows that the proposed antenna has a good reflection coefficient in the target frequencies of -22.6 dB, -28.26 dB, and -22.48 dB, respectively.

Abstract

Pembangkit listrik tenaga surya (PLTS) off-grid memberikan solusi efisien terhadap kebutuhan penerangan saat memasang kandang ayam di lokasi terpencil. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan sistem PLTS yang dapat memenuhi kebutuhan energi harian secara optimal, dengan mempertimbangkan faktor efisiensi dan keberlanjutan. Pada versi ini, sistem dirancang untuk menyalakan 20 lampu LED dengan output masing-masing 10 watt, yang digunakan selama 8 jam sehari, sehingga total kebutuhan energi harian sebesar 3.200 watt-jam. Sistem yang dirancang menggunakan panel surya dengan total daya terpasang 330 watt dan dua buah baterai 12V 200 Ah untuk penyimpanan energi. Dengan efisiensi pengisian baterai 85%, sistem ini dapat menyimpan hingga 4.800 watt-jam. Hasil analisa menunjukkan sistem PLTS memenuhi kebutuhan energi selama tiga hari tanpa sinar matahari, dan total energi yang mampu disediakan sistem mencapai 9.600 Watt-jam. Evaluasi kinerja sistem menunjukkan bahwa, bila dikonfigurasi dengan benar, efisiensi sistem secara keseluruhan dapat mencapai 90%. Studi ini menunjukkan bahwa penggunaan PLTS off-grid tidak hanya meningkatkan produktivitas ayam petelur tetapi juga memberikan kemandirian energi bagi para peternak. Oleh karena itu, rancangan sistem PLTS ini dapat digunakan secara luas di bidang pertanian, khususnya untuk meningkatkan pencahayaan berkelanjutan di kandang unggas.

Abstract

Higher education faces new challenges in managing the rapid development of digital technology. One issue that requires attention is the on-time graduation rate of undergraduate students (S1). This research aims to develop and implement effective strategies in increasing the on-time undergraduate graduation rate in the digital era. The community service method is used as an approach in integrating theoretical approaches with practice in the field. This service involves collaboration between Dian Nusantara University, Pancasila University and Prof. University. Dr. Moestopo (Religious), students, and industry to design learning programs that are responsive to student needs in the digital era. The result of this service is the development of technology-based strategies that support online learning, personalized academic mentoring, and the use of data analytics to monitor student academic progress. The evaluation showed a significant increase in the on-time undergraduate graduation rate. The practical implication of this service is the adoption of strategies that have proven effective by other higher education institutions in mitigating the challenges of on-time graduation in the digital era.

Abstract

The hospitality industry is known for its high energy use. The operation of many 24-hour facilities raises energy demand. The Minister of Culture and Tourism's Decree Number KM.03/HK.001/MKP.02 requires that the quality of services and facilities be examined. Air conditioners, water heaters, exercise facilities, and conference rooms all require reliable electrical systems. Energy efficiency is essential, especially for facilities that use a lot of power, including heat pump water heaters in restrooms and fitness center equipment. Hotel A in Jakarta Tanah Abang, which has not yet implemented energy conservation measures, requires energy management systems and audits to improve efficiency. The Energy Consumption Intensity (IKE) is the amount of energy used by a building to increase a conditioned area over a month or a year. The study's goal is to determine IKE values for the period February 2024 to June 2024, as well as energy consumption patterns in accordance with the standards. This study included data collecting, interviews, observations, and direct measurements to determine the energy usage of each month and the entire facility. The IKE calculation approach yielded the following findings for each month: February 5,069701417 kWh/m2/month, March 5,235947214 kWh/m2, April 5,009387155 kWh (m2), May 6,335605837 kWh(m2), and June 6,127963403 kWh/m2. With scores ranging from 5 to 6,3 performance energy consumption, electricity falls into the "Very Efficient" category, eliminating the need for energy savings that could disrupt hotel operations.

Abstract

Modern industries require automation to enhance operational efficiency and productivity. This study designs and implements an automatic sorting system based on the Internet of Things (IoT) using a mini conveyor, ESP32 microcontroller, TCS3200 color sensor, servo motor, and the Blynk application. The system is designed to accurately detect object colors, sort objects based on color, and enable remote monitoring and control via mobile devices. Testing results indicate that the system can detect and sort objects with a high level of accuracy, although some errors occur due to changes in lighting conditions. The conveyor speed is consistently recorded at 0.335 m/s, while the system's response time, including color detection, servo movement, and application updates, operates within an optimal range. The Blynk application enhances the flexibility of real-time system control. This study demonstrates that IoT-based sorting systems can serve as an efficient solution to support industrial automation. Further development is recommended to improve color detection accuracy and expand the system's application in more complex industrial scenarios.
