Abstract

Writing scientific work is a requirement for students. However, students still need help writing scientific papers. This study aimed to determine the effect of leadership style, adversity quotient, and motivation on scientific work achievement in Tadris IPA IAIN Ponorogo students. The approach used in this study is a quantitative approach to causal research. The data was collected using a questionnaire and analyzed using regression analysis and SEM PLS. Overall, the study results show that leadership style, adversity quotient, and motivation positively influence scientific work achievement. PLS-SEM analysis shows that the variable that has the highest contribution is the adversity quotient. Then, the indicator with the highest contribution is the ownership indicator, while the indicator that contributes the least is creative innovation, with my statement using failure as a learning tool. This research proves that leadership style, adversity quotient, and motivation influence the scientific work achievement of Tadris IPA IAIN Ponorogo students. Therefore, in improving achievement in the field of scientific work, contributions from leaders, persistence from students, and encouragement to achievement are needed.

Abstract

This article aims to examine the power of local wisdom in education. Local knowledge will only last if local learning is applied concretely in everyday life. Efforts to represent the concept of education are not merely normative; only stated and explained, but attempted performative form. For example, local wisdom in education policies by the State is implementing character education policies based on local knowledge, culture, and culture. This research is library research by making library materials the primary data source. The research data were obtained from several pieces of literature related to the general description of education in Indonesia, educational problems and character education strategies. The research data were analysed using descriptive-analytical techniques with an inductive mindset. Implementing efforts to conserve various elements of local wisdom, traditions and local institutions, including norms, customs and culture, can function effectively in education. The goals of education are based on local strengths and characteristics that can advocate for disparities and social-cultural discrimination in society and contribute to better cultural education.

Abstract

Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh kinerja guru di YPI As Salam Sooko. Penelitian ini menggunakan kepuasan kerja sebagai variabel intervenening. Dari beberapa teori terkait pengaruh persepsi diri dan lingkungan terhadap kinerja guru, dikatakan bahwa semakin tinggi persepsi diri dan semakin baik lingkungan kerja maka akan semakin meningkatkan kinerja guru. Teori tersebut mendukung penelitian ini yakni pengaruh persepsi diri dan lingkungan terhadap kinerja guru di YPI As Salam Sooko Ponorogo. Pendekatan dalam penelitian ini adalah kuantitatif dengan jenis ex-post facto dengan teknik sampling jenuh sebanyak 53 responden, serta menggunakan analisis jalur (path analysis). Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui serta menganalisis pengaruh antara persepsi diri, lingkungan dan kepuasan kerja terhadap kinerja guru, persepsi diri dan lingkungan terhadap kepuasan kerja, serta persepsi diri dan lingkungan terhadap kinerja guru melalui kepuasan kerja. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa, (1) persepsi diri mempengaruhi kinerja guru sebesar 0.129, (2) lingkungan kerja mempengaruhi kinerja guru sebesar 0.177, (3) kepuasan kerja mempengaruhi kinerja guru sebesar 0.187, (4) persepsi diri mempengaruhi kepuasan kerja sebesar 0.110, (5) lingkungan kerja mempengaruhi kepuasan kerja sebesar 0.229, (6) kepuasan kerja memediasi pengaruh antara persepsi diri terhadap kinerja guru sebesar 0.147, dan (7) kepuasan kerja memediasi pengaruh antara lingkungan kerja terhadap kinerja guru sebesar 0.183
