Abstract

Character education becomes urgent considering that Indonesia has been experiencing moral degradation. The 2013 curriculum requires all subject teachers to pay more attention to the affective aspect. In Kurtilas, there is an increase in the number of hours on the subjects of PAI (Islamic education) and Budi Pekerti (Moral) in public schools. This study aims to examine the development of character values of junior high school students in the subjects of PAI and Budi Pekerti in the 2013 curriculum. A library research method was employed covering four steps, namely data collection, data reduction, inference and data analysis to extract information from various literatures related to character education, curriculum structure of PAI and Budi Pekerti at SMP level as well as the contents of character education. The results showed that there were character values on each basic competence (KD) on the subjects of PAI and Budi Pekerti. Character values included religious, discipline, tolerance, responsibility, respect, self-control and peace. The implementation could be done by designing better instructions of PAI and Budi Pekertiby choosing the right approach and method.أصبحت التربية الخلقية هامّة لما أصاب إندونيسيا من انحطاط خلقيّ.  اقتضى المنهج الدراسي 2013 جميع مدرّسي المواد الدراسية أن يهتموا أكثر بالجانب العاطفي. كانت في المنهج الدراسي 2013 زيادة ساعات أو حصص لتعليم مادة التربية الإسلامية والأخلاق في المدارس العامة. يهدف هذا البحث إلى دراسة تنمية القيم الأخلاقية لطلاب المدارس المتوسطة العامة في مادة التربية الإسلامية والأخلاق في المنهج الدراسي 2013.  استخدم الباحث منهج البحث المكتبي وهو يحتوى على أربع خطوات : جمع البيانات، وتخفيض البيانات، والاستدلال وتحليل البيانات للحصول على المعلومات من المصادر المتنوعة المتعلقة بالتربية الخلقية، وهيكل المنهج الدراسي لمادة التربية الإسلامية و الأخلاق للمدارس العامة ومضمون قيم التربية الخلقية فيه. دلت نتائج البحث على أن فيه قيم أخلاقية في كل من معايير الكفاءة في مادة التربية الإسلامية والأخلاق. وهذه القيم الخلقية منها : الدينية، والانضباط، والتسامح، والمسؤولية، وإكرام الغير، وضبط النفس وحب السلام. والتطبيق من هذا يمكن القيام به عن طريق التصميم الأجود لتعليم التربية الإسلامية والأخلاق، وهذا باختيار المدخل والطريقة المناسبين.

Abstract

Kesetaraan dan keadilan gender harus diwujudkan dalam segala aspek kehidupan, termasuk dalam kegiatan pendidikan. Pendidikan responsif gender penting untuk diterapkan di seluruh lembaga pendidikan, sebab baik laki-laki maupun perempuan adalah sama dan berhak untuk memperoleh segala manfaat dalam pendidikan sesuai dengan minat dan bakatnya. SMK PGRI 2 Ponorogo merupakan salah satu sekolah kejuruan di Ponorogo dengan jumlah siswa perempuan yang minoritas.Perempuan sering kali dianggap lebih banyak memiliki kelemahan di dalam kegiatan praktik dibandingkan laki-laki.Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis kesetaraan dan keadilan gender pada pembelajaran program keahlian teknik di SMK PGRI 2 Ponorogo.Pendekatan yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah pendekatan kualitatif dengan jenis studi kasus. Sumber data berasal dari kata-kata, tindakan, sumber tertulis dan foto yang berkaitan dengan proses kegiatan pembelajaran jurusan teknik di SMK PGRI 2 Ponorogo. Hasil menunjukkan bahwa kesetaraan dan keadilan gender di SMK PGRI 2 Ponorogo telah terwujud. Dalam kegiatan pembelajaran, baik siswa perempuan maupun laki-laki, mendapatkan akses yang sama, kesempatan untuk berpartisipasi, memiliki kontrol dan dapat mengambil manfaat secara maksimal.Namun masih terjadi ketidaksetaraan gender, yakni pada kategori pelabelan, subordinasi dan pemiskinan. [Gender equality and justice are must be realized in all aspects of life, including educational activities. Gender responsive education is important to be implemented in all educational institutions, because both men and women are the same and are entitled to get all the benefits in education in accordance with their interests and talents. SMK PGRI 2 Ponorogo is one of the vocational schools in Ponorogo with a number of minority female students. Women are often considered to have more weaknesses in practical activities than men. This study aims to analyze gender equality and justice in learning technical skills programs at SMK PGRI 2 Ponorogo. The approach that used in this research is a qualitative approach with the type of case study. The source of the data comes from words, actions, written sources and photos that are all forms of data relating to the process of learning activities in the engineering department at SMK PGRI 2 Ponorogo. The results show that gender equality and justice in SMK PGRI 2 Ponorogo have been realized. In learning activities, both female and male students get equal access, the opportunity to participate, have control and can take maximum advantage. However, there is still a gender inequality, namely in the categories of labelling, subordination and impoverishment.]

Abstract

School and community are two inseparable things. The community needs schools to educate their children, while schools need the community to support their vision and mission. Therefore the management of school relations with the community (public relations) is an effort of the school to increase good cooperation between schools and the community. This study aims to analyze the implementation of public relations management in schools in increasing the role of school committees. This research uses a qualitative approach, with a type of case study. The results showed that public relations management carried out by schools properly,could increase the role of school committees. The optimal role of the school committee can be to increase effective communication between the school and the guardians of students and can support the implementation of school programs so that educational goals will be easier to achieve.

Abstract

This article aims to reveal the role of Asbabunnuzul's knowledge on learning lessons in an Islamic school. This knowledge of asbabunnuzul was increasingly emphasized after the public discovery of subject matter which allegedly contained elements of a call to action on radicalism. Finally, at the end of 2019, the Ministry of Religion decided to overhaul the entire syllabus of PAI (Education of Islamic Religion) and Arabic learning materials from the MI (Islamic Elementary School) to the Madrasah Aliyah. Knowledge of asbabunnuzul a verse will make the Koran and the Prophet's hadiths have a relevant interpretation of their time as well as being able to capture divine messages in response to developments in social problems that exist in the contemporary era. It is from here that the material of the Qur'an hadith in Madrasah Aliyah and Tsanawiyah can develop not only to adhere to classical exegesion but to a more dynamic direction and to respond to the times.

Abstract

Pola pengasuhan anak yang tidak mencerminkan kesetaraan dan keadilan gender dapat membentuk perilaku anak yang tidak responsif gender. Pendidikan pada keluarga sering kali menjadi penyebab terjadinya ketidakadilan gender dalam kehidupan masyarakat. Tantangan besar dalam mewujudkan kesetaraan dan keadilan gender adalah merubah cara pandang dikotomis pada jenis kelamin laki-laki dan perempuan. Dalam cara pandang ini, laki-laki dan perempuan dianggap berbeda, sehingga keduanya nampak bertentangan satu sama lain. Merubah cara pandang dikotomis menjadi hal yang penting dilakukan demi terwujudnya kesetaraan dan keadilan gender yang dapat dimulai dari kehidupan keluarga. Konsep mubadalah merupakan satu konsep yang membahas tentang kesetaraan gender dengan menekankan pada prinsip kesalingan untuk sama-sama mengambil manfaat dari dua orang yang berrelasi. Perempuan maupun laki-laki memiliki hak dan kesempatan yang sama untuk berkiprah di ranah publik maupun domestik, dan mengambil manfaat dari segala aspek kehidupan. Maka penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji penerapan konsep mubadalah dalam pola pengasuhan anak. Metode library research digunakan melalui penggalian informasi dari berbagai literatur yang terkait dengan konsep mubadalah dan pola pengasuhan anak. Hasil menunjukkan bahwa konsep mubadalah merupakan salah satu konsep dalam kesetaraan gender yang dapat diterapkan dalam pola pengasuhan anak di dalam kehidupan keluarga. Melalui penerapan konsep ini, maka pola pengasuhan anak menjadi responsif gender dengan meninggalkan segala hal yang bias gender.

Abstract

Gender equality study is the study that will continously be discussed in human life. The study of gender examines the diverse roles of women and men in community life. The concept of mubadalah is of the new studies in gender equality. The concept of mubadalah is way of looking at two relations, namely man and woman, in which both of them as dignified human beings who are able to take advantages of all aspects of life for their good. Education is an important means of educating people who are knowledgeable and have noble character. Gender-based education is the foundation in creating a gender responsive young generation. This study aims to examine more deeply the concept of mubadalah and its implementation in Islamic education. This study used qualitative approach and the type of this research is library research. Data were obtained from various sources relate to the concept of mubadalah and Islamic education. The results show that the concept of mubadalah is one of the concepts of gender equality which can be used as a reference for understanding gender equality and equity that seeks to see women and men as servants of Allah swt. which is the subject of the texts in Al-Qur’an as well as in their interpretation. Education in an Islamic perspective becomes a forum for teaching gender equality through the design of a gender responsive education component.

Abstract

Gender equality in educational institutions is something that must be realized. Gender equality examines efforts to equalize the two sexes so that both can benefit equally in life. One of the efforts that can be done is to implement education management in educational institutions. This study aims to examine the implementation of education management in educational institutions in realizing gender equality. The library research method is used by extracting information from various literature related to gender equality and education management and its implementation in educational institutions. The results show that the performance of education management to realize gender equality can be carried out through HR management activities and student management. In HR management, efforts to achieve gender equality can be carried out by ensuring the proportional involvement of male and female school members in all school activities. The indicators of gender equality, namely access, participation, control, and benefits, show this phenomenon. The next effort is to carry out gender-responsive learning activities.

Abstract

Al-Qur’an merupakan kitab suci yang paling istimewa di antara kitab yang lainnya. Menghafal al-Qur’an merupakan pekerjaan yang mulia dan membutuhkan niat yang sungguh-sungguh. Panti asuhan yatim piatu Muhammadiyah Tahfidzul Quran Balegondo Ngaribiyo Magetan merupakan satu-satunya panti asuhan di Magetan yang memiliki program tahfidz bagi anak asuh. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menjelaskan pembelajaran tahfidz al-Qur’an di panti asuhan yatim piatu Muhammadiyah Tahfidzul Quran Balegondo Ngaribiyo Magetan menggunakan metode ummi. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif. Data diperoleh melalui wawancara, observasi, dan dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kegiatan pembelajaran tahfidz al-Qur’an menggunakan model privat/individual, klasikal individual, klasikal baca simak, dan klasikal baca simak murni; untuk mengasah kemampuan anak dalam menghafal, upaya yang dilakukan yakni mendampingi anak menghafal satu atau beberapa ayat dalam sehari sesuai dengan kemampuan anak, mengulang hafalan setiap hari, efektifitas waktu, penggunakan metode yang baik dan tepat, pemberian reward, motivasi dan muraja’ah setelah sholat fardhu.

Abstract

This paper examines managing religious moderation education by strengthening religious symbols, namely songkok, with NU logic. This study aimed to analyze how the use of symbols on the NU skullcap can shape the personality of SD Islamiyah Magetan students in forming an understanding of religious moderation from the perspective of Peter L. Berger's social construction theory. How can symbols convey messages about religious moderation as a form of planting moderate Islam and identity formation? This symbol has several functions, such as describing something as well as a form of conveying an implied message. Therefore, to analyze it using the social construction theory approach of Peter L. Berger. From the results of the reading, it can be concluded: First, the implementation of the regulation on wearing the NU songkok at SD Islamiyah Mageran is outlined in a regulation that enforces every male student to wear the NU songkok. Second, Sonkok NU can become an identity and have moderate Islamic values ??found in the relationship between moderate Islamic values ??of NU ideas such as tawasuth, tawazun, tasamuh, and ta’adul, which have an impact on their use in everyday life. Third, Religious Moderation Education through Sonkok NU as a moderate Islamic identity from the perspective of Peter L Berger's sociological theory of knowledge is through a process of externalization, objectivation, and internalization.
