Abstract

Research was designated to examine effects of entrepreneurship characteristic and enterprise climate on the business development, to test dominant factor that influencing enterprise progress of food agro-industries on small scale enterprise in Kediri.Questionnaire connects to 140 respondents of food agro-industrial companies of small scale enterprise in Kediri. Questionnaire seems to be engineered in Likert-scale by five selections, and then, analyzed by Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) technique provided with AMOS 4 software.The resultof research indicates that entrepreneurship characteristic imparts positive and purposively effect on enterprise progress. Enterprise climate also produces positive and sensibly effect on enterprise progress. Enterprise climate has more strong influence on enterprise progress than entrepreneurship characteristic. The findings result contributed to economic agriculture for especially agribusiness management.Withstanding of research judgment, triggering the growth and progress of food agro-industries on small scale enterprise in Kediri demands governmental intervention in shape of inventing beneficial enterprise climate through many government policies, that is accompanying and assistance as food agro-industries on small scale enterprise needed, minimize the unfavourable policies or does not support the small scale food agro-industries, support the market segment for the small scale food agro-industries, give support to the existence and development of small scale food agro-industries, give the entrepreneur training to increasing the entrepreneurship ability.Key words : Entrepreneurship, enterprise climate, Agro-industries

Abstract

Hasil belajar siswa pada pelajaran IPS di Kelas XII SMK Negeri 10 Merangin masih rendah. Rendahnya hasil belajar siswa karena kurang bervariasinya metode pembelajaran yang digunakan guru. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mendekripsikan apakah terdapat perbandingan metode pembelajaran kooperatif tipe Problem Based Learning dengan metode konvensional terhadap hasil belajar IPS terpadu kelas XII SMK Negeri 10 Merangin. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kuantitatif dengan jenis penelitian eksperimen. Populasi dari penelitian ini adalah seluruh siswa kelas XII. Sampel penelitian ini adalah kelas XII TSM sebagai kelas kontrol, dan kelas XII TKJ sebagai kelas eksperimen. Teknik pengambilan sampel dengan cara melihat nila terendah dari dua kelas tersebut. Instrumen penelitian menggunakan teknik tes tertulis berbentuk essay untuk mendapatkan data hasil belajar. Teknik pengolahan data menggunakan rumus t. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian dan analisis data yang dilakukan terhadap tes akhir dengan nilai rata-rata pada kelas eksperimen yang menggunakan metode pembelajaran Problem Based Learning yaitu 78,61 dan pada kelas kontrol yang menggunakan metode pembelajaran konvensional yaitu 63,05. Dari perhitungan thitung = 2,359 kemudian dibandingkan dengan ttabel pada taraf signifikansi 0,05 diperoleh ttabel = 2,042 maka Ha diterima dan Ho ditolak, artinya terdapat perbedaan hasil belajar IPS menggunakan metode Problem Based Learning dan metode Konvensional.

Abstract

Berbagai media yang digunakan oleh pelaku bisnis, untuk dimanfaatkan dengan baik konsumen, perusahaan bahkan penjual berbagai aplikasi memberikan kemudahan kepada semua orang mengambil peluang usaha yang bisa menghasilkan keuntungan salah satu diantaranya misalkan menjadi salah menjadi kreator konten. Kreativitas dan inovasi dari seorang kreator konten adalah lahan atau tempat yang baik sekali untuk mengembangkan kemampuannya di samping merupakan hobi juga menghasilkan keuntungan. Pelatihan keterampilan digital content creator diharapkan dapat membangkitkan semangat kreativitas dan inovatif bagi generasi muda membangun usaha mandiri. Tujuan dari pelatihan ini adalah peserta mampu menciptakan kreativitas dan inovasi dalam membuat konten kreator, untuk keperluan media sosial maupun digunakan untuk sarana promosi barang atau komunitas tertentu bagi perusahaan. Sasaran penyuluhan ini adalah siswa di SMA Negeri 2 Ngabang. Pelatihan dilakukan dengan Empat sesi yaitu (1) Membangun kreativitas dan inovasi bagi generasi muda (2) Teknik Pengambilan Video (3) Teknik Editing Video (4) Teknik Unggah Konten Video ke Sosial Media. Hasil pelatihan ini menunjukkan sambutan antusiasme para peserta yang mengikuti kegiatan ini, ditunjukkan dengan peserta mampu membuat hasil Project video di akhir kegiatan.

Abstract

Institutions that can survive and thrive are institutions that have leaders who have a vision of very sharp changes and are able to transform organizational capabilities to build competitiveness. The success of a leader is largely determined by the ability to know and use the right kind of power in accordance with the demands of the situation. The purpose of this study is to analyze the effectiveness of the use of different kinds of power in leadership. These types of powers are expertise, reference power, reward power, legal authority and coercive power. This research was conducted at STKIP YPM in Merangin district, Jambi Province, Indonesia. The sample in this study were 30 lecturers from a population of 66 lecturers. Analysis of the data used to answer the objectives of this study is the Spearman Rank-Order Correlation with a significant level of 5%. This research results that the use of expertise power, reference power, legal power and coercive power does not have a significant correlation with the attitude of commitment of the lecturers while the use of reward power has a significant negative correlation with the attitude of commitment of the lecturer.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the influence of entrepreneurial characteristics of small-scale agro-industry food business owners and the business climate created through government policy on business progress, testing and analyzing the dominant factors affecting the progress of food agro-industry on the scale of small businesses in Kediri, East Java, Indonesia.The questionnaire was designed in the form of a Likert scale with five choices, and distributed to 140 food agro-industry entrepreneurs on a small business scale in Kediri. The technical analysis uses Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) with AMOS 4 software. The results showed that the contribution of the business climate had a greater influence on business progress when compared with entrepreneurial characteristics. Based on these findings, to spur business growth and progress in small-scale agro-industry, it is necessary to have government intervention in creating a conducive business climate through advisory and assistance policies in accordance with the needs of small-scale agro-industry businesses, encouraging market creation, providing entrepreneurship training to improve the ability to manage effort.

Abstract

This research aims to determine the effect of work motivation and work discipline on employee performance partially and simultaneously at the same time. The type of research used is explanatory research with a quantitative approach. The sample of this study were employees at the Merangin Regency Resettlement Area Office. Number of sample were 80 person. Data obtained by distributing questionnaires. The data analysis technique used in this study is multiple linear regression analysis, using the F test and T test. The results of multiple linear regression Y = 79.21 + 0.41 X1 + 0.74 X2 + e. Meanwhile the results of the T test of work motivation variables on employee performance are t count ? t table or 3.31 ? 1.99. while, work discipline variable on employee performance was t count ? t table or 5.02 ? 1.99. The coefficient of determination (R2) is 0.34%. This means that 34% of the variation in performance can be predicted by work motivation and work discipline variables. While 65% can be predicted by other variables.

Abstract

Pengelolaan sampah adalah salah satu tantangan yang dihadapi oleh pengelola perkotaan di seluruh dunia, termasuk Indonesia. Karena ekonomi berkembang, taraf kehidupan penduduk juga meningkat.  Seperti yang terjadi di BTN Bisma, yang terletak di kecamatan Ngabang kabupaten Landak, hanya ada satu bak sampah besar berbentuk bak truk yang digunakan setiap minggu. Permasalahan penanganan sampah yang masih kurang serius ini yang menjadikan tim pengabdi melakukan pengabdian ini.  Dengan mempertimbangkan situasi ini, kelompok pengabdi memutuskan untuk mengolah sampah rumah tangga warga BTN Bisma untuk digunakan sebagai pupuk organik cair (POC). Pengabdian ini bertujuan untuk memanfaatkan sampah rumah tangga diolah menjadi pupuk organik cair.  Mahasiswa Universitas Katolik Santo Agustinus Hippo, Kelompok Tani Bisma Asri, dan ibu-ibu warga BTN Bisma Residence melakukan kegiatan ini dalam kerja sama dengan Dinas Pertanian, Perikanan dan Ketahanan Pangan kabupaten Landak serta Himpunan Kerukunan Tani Indonesia. Secara umum, tujuan dari pengabdian ini adalah: (1) meningkatkan keterampilan dan pengetahuan mitra dengan cara memberikan pelatihan tentang cara mengubah sampah organik menjadi pupuk cair organik; dan (2) menyediakan sarana pembuatan pupuk organik cair dan mitra mampu memproduksi pupuk organik cair secara mandiri. Hasil pengabdian ini menunjukkan bahwa (1) pengetahuan mitra meningkat sebesar 57, 9% dibuktikan hasil pre test dan post test. (2) Keterampilan mitra meningkat 100% dibuktikan dengan hasil observasi. (3) Tersedianya sarana pembuatan POC dan berdasarkan hasil pendampingan selama dua bulan dan dua minggu dan hasil evaluasi, mitra mampu memproduksi POC secara mandiri

Abstract

Education changes behavior because with education there is a change in knowledge and with changes in knowledge will have an impact on changes in attitudes and actions, when education does not produce changes in behavior means there are problems in the education process. Educators must foster the creativity and imaginative of students to give birth to innovative behavior, so that they can improve the nation's competitiveness. The purpose of this study is to understand the appropriate educational model in the era of industrial revolution 4.0 which emphasizes creativity and innovation. The method used in this study is a qualitative method by tracing and analyzing the implementation and results of the educational process with a focus on attention to behavior change. The results of this study found that the educational model must move to a new area created with creativity and imagination, not focusing on the fight against existing competition, this strategy encourages people to be more creative, create added value and be able to create new things.

Abstract

Empowerment of the weak economic community is an effort to enable and empower the community. transmigration is a model of population distribution as well as an effort to improve the welfare of the economically weak community in the agricultural sector. The purpose of this study was to examine the model of rejuvenation of oil palm plantations based on community empowerment on oil palm land owned by transmigrants in Pulau Tujuh village, Mampun Village and Rasau Village, Pamenang Barat District, Merangin District, Jambi Province. The focus of this research is the model of rejuvenation of community empowerment-based oil palm plantations on oil palm farms belonging to transmigrant farmers in Pulau Tujuh village, Mampun Village and Rasau Village, West Pamenang District, Merangin District, Jambi Province.The methods used in this study were interviews, observations and discussions with oil palm farmers transmigrants in the village. The results of the study found a model for the rejuvenation of oil palm plantations based on the empowerment of migrant oil palm farmers by combining three main forces, namely the Fund Provider, Core People, Plasma and Government companies, in the form of Four point Zero in Pulau Tujuh Village, Mampun Village and Rasau Village Pamenang District West Merangin district.
