Abstract

The general templates of business and economic activities up to the beginning of this millenium are still dominated by competition models. To exist in such dynamic business environment, many business players still assuming that the most appropriate perspective to be used in anticipating the dynamics is by winning the competition. All efforts are directed to beat the competitors that based on a classical reason: satisfying the customers!! But, at the same time, we also observe that high competition environment is not only drive to the ideal results (customer satisfaction) but also potentially directing people to dehumanize other people. From those situation, I try to propose a concept namely Complementarianism to balance the people orientation in human transactional setting. I do believe that the appropriate premises to explain about the future issues to exist in business are not only maintaining Sustainable Competitive Advantages but also creatively and innovatively promoting what we call as Sustainable Complementary Advantages.

Abstract

One of the major business challenges in the era of global business is howbusiness doers decide their own position in the term of business culture. This issuewill be more important in the years ahead, since strategically the ability of businessdoers to exist in global competition atmosphere will depend on the dialog of theirown business culture with the other business cultures. Generally speaking, there's noroom for short-sighted-syndrome in cultural dialog to success in business. Thisarticle discusses the perspective of Indonesian business doers in understanding theirown business culture and other business cultures. We use these point of views, sincesome business cultures practically affecting the way Indonesian business peopleappreciate their own work environment. A good appreciation toward workenvironment will lead to success in doing business.

Abstract

GMC is an organization that provided health assurance for academicians in UGM. As a health assurance, GMC should increase their quality. Quality Function Deployment (QFD) is a part of Total Quality Management (TQM) tool that can use for measure TQM by House of Quality (HOQ) design. The aim of this study is to analyze the implementation of HOQ. This study located in GMC Health Center of Yogyakarta. The research was conducted using 2 samples. The samples consist of 2, 100 external customers and 10 internal customers, amounting to 10. This research followed by interviews with top managers to build house of Quality. And then build house of quality, finally analyze the atribute that must be repaired by management of GMC. The results showed that there were three aspects that should be prioritized by GMC. The first aspect is pharmaceutical care that included 4 attributes. The highest gap of this aspect completeness of drug supplies 6.21 and the availability of a pharmacist that was consumer value answered by the management GMC with the high level of difficulty. From the relative weight score 106.61 percent can be showed that the availability of pharmacist has the highest value on the customer excpectations for this aspects.The other aspects that must be improved are the emphaty and responsiveness and time. Emphaty dimension has the the highest value of technical descriptors 538.397 that can be done by the GMC for complete customer expectations in all aspects. Systemic obstacle for implement the House of Quality were financial and human resources. Keywords: Service Quality, Total Quality Management, Quality Function Deployment, House Of Quality

Abstract

Budaya dan komitmen organisasional memegang peranan penting di dalam organisasi, termasuk rumah sakit. Mengetahui budaya suatu organisasi menjadi keuntungan tersendiri. Penelitian ini berutujan untuk mengetahui gambaran budaya organisasi dan komitmen organisasi di unit struktural (Gedung Administrasi Pusat) RSUP Dr. Sardjito. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitiandeskriptif. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan menggunakan kuesioner budaya organisasi dan komitmen organisasional. Validitas dan reliabilitas instrumen diuji dengan menggunakan analisis faktor dan perhitungan alfa Chronbach. Delapan puluh satu kuesioner yang diperoleh kemudian dilakukan penilaian dan dikelompokkan berdasarkan kategorisasi skor nilai. Semua komponen budaya organisasi unit struktural RSUP Dr. Sardjito termasuk dalam kategori tinggi, walaupun terdapat 2 indeks yang termasuk kategori sedang yaitu pengembangan kemampuan serta koordinasi-integrasi. Keadaan komitmen organisasionalnya pun baik, karena semua komponen komitmen organisasional berada pada kategori tinggi.Kata kunci: budaya, komitmen, organisasi

Abstract

There are some factors that influence human resources management, they are the employee’s attribution, working motivation, and organizational commitment. The purpose of this research is to determine the influence of the employee’s attribution toward human resources management policies to employee’s motivation and organizational commitment in PKU Muhammadiyah Yogyakarta Hospital. This research used questionnaire to 51 employees as subjects and had been working at least 1 year in PKU Muhammadiyah Yogyakarta Hospital. The questionnaires that used in this research consists of questionnaire for employee’s attribution toward human resources management policies, working motivation questionnaire, and organizational commitment questionnaire. To test validity and realibility used 25 respondents, then analyzed with regression analysis to determine the influence of the employee’s attribution toward human resources management policies to working motivation and organizational commitment used SPSS 17 for windows program for analyzing data. The results showed that employee’s attribution toward human resources management policies has positive influence 94,9 % to motivation employees with regression equation Y = 6,425 + 0,967X, employee’s attribution toward human resources management policies has positive influence to organizational commitment 92,6% with regression equation Y=10,133 + 0,735X, and working motivation correlates positively with organizational commitment with r 0,980.Keywords : Employee’s attributions, working motivation, organizational commitment

Abstract

The overall good service system is by patient satisfaction-oriented system, besides the hospital facility aspects, the role of doctors, paramedical and non medical is very important as they will determine the perception of performance and perceived performance of the services provided patients. Asking a good service needs motivation supported by awareness on the importance of excellent service. The study was done in order to see the level of employee knowledge about the excellent service, looking at the relationship of employee knowledge level for the excellent service with the awareness level for excellent level, and to see how the influence of awareness of excellent service to the employee working motivation in Supiori Local Public Hospital. The subjects for this research consists of 37 permanent employee of Supiori Local Public Hospital, then analized using visual binning of SPSS 17 for windows program to see the employee knowledge level on the excellent service, the method of correlation analysis to see the correlation of employees knowledge level for the excellent service, and regression analysis method to see how the influence of awareness for excellent service by the employee to the Supiori Local Public Hospital using SPSS 17 for windows. The results showed that the respondents’ knowledge level classified as good one are 59.5% and 40.5% were considered not good. Knowledge of excellent service with awareness level for excellent service correlate with r-count of 0.692. The awareness effect of the excellent service to the working motivation by the employees in Supiori Local Public Hospital is 12.7% with the regression equation Y = 12.943 + 0.324 X.Keywords : Excellent service, work motivation

Abstract

Pelatihan dalam merancang kurikulum operasional satuan pendidikan (KOSP) merupakan salah satu komponen kunci dalam mendukung proses pembelajaran pada Pendidikan Anak Usia Dini. Pelatihan ini bertujuan untuk memfasilitasi Kepala TK dan guru dalam KOSP sesuai dengan kebutuhan dan karakteristik masing-masing lembaga. Metode pelaksanaan yang dilakukan pada pelatihan ini menggunakan metode ceramah, diskusi, dan praktik. Peserta kegiatan pelatihan ini adalah lembaga PAUD di kelurahan Potrobangsan, Kota Magelang sebanyak 8 lembaga. Luaran dari kegiatan ini KOSP sesuai dengan kebutuhan dan karateristik setiap lembaga.
