Abstract

Early age is a golden age for children, which is important to improve their development. The children also need to get a good education according to development to improve their abilities. The education provided is certainly following the developmental aspects, one of which is language. The language skills needed at this age is early reading skills. In the understanding given by the teacher, it was found the problems and the need related to it. There is no determination of the classification of early childhood reading skills. At this moment, the teacher has difficulty providing the achievement of reading skills to students based on the criteria of early reading ability and classifying it and improving learning quality to each student and material for discussion with parents. There is a suggestion given to achieve the goals and resolve it that the classification of early childhood reading skills has been designed and for data processing is carried out using a computer. This study uses a decision tree and Algorithm C4.5 for the method. Algorithm C4.5 is included in the classification based on Decision Tree, which Algorithm C4.5 is a method that can handle features with numeric types. The purpose of this study is to perform classification using Algorithm C4.5 as a method that can find out the level of reading skills in early childhood, based on the criteria, so that classification can be done easily and get the right improvement suggestion. The result in this study is that the Algorithm C4.5 method has a good result in solving and calculating for the classification so that the accuracy value of the Algorithm C4.5 calculation that has been carried out is 77,14%.

Abstract

Heart disease is the main cause of death which can be diagnosed using an electrocardiogram. This study aims to classify heart defects using the Fuzzy C Means technique. The advantage of using Fuzzy C Means is that it is unsupervised and can reach a convergent cluster center under certain conditions. It is a clustering model that has the value of the objective function, number of iterations and completed time. In an unsupervised learning, the focus is more on exploring data such as looking for patterns in the data. Clustering itself aims to identify patterns of similar data to be grouped. It can be a solution to overcome the process of determining the risk of heart disease. The results showed that there were 10 data grouped into cluster 1 and 10 data into cluster 2. The first group (Cluster 1) consisted of patients with serial numbers 3,5,8,9,11,12,16,17,19,20, while the second group (Cluster 2) consisted of patients with serial numbers 1,2,4,6,7,10,13,14,15 and 18. Accuracy testing results in a success rate of 60%.

Abstract

This research will help students in choosing majors at SMK Cilegon City, namely by creating a website application by providing choices of majors criteria that have been determined by the Admin. The method used is Simple Additive Weighting (SAW). The advantage of this SAW method lies in its ability to make a more precise assessment because it is based on the value of the criteria and the weight of the level of importance required. The SAW method can also select the best alternative from a number of available alternatives, then a ranking process is carried out in which the total weight values ​​of all criteria are added up after determining the weight value of each criterion. The way this method works is to search for majors based on the selected criteria so that it will display in detail about the majors.

Abstract

This service activity aims to increase students' insight and motivation towards the importance of Information Technology (ICT), English, and the Environment at UPT SDN Wanakarta 1. Teaching and Learning Activities (KBM) were carried out for 5 meetings involving students from grade 1 to grade 6. The learning method used is learning while playing so that the material presented can be easily accepted by students. The results showed that the KBM conducted succeeded in increasing students' insight and motivation. This is shown by the results of the Pre-Test and Post-Test which show an increase in student understanding of ICT material by 88%, English by 90%, and Environment (animal names) by 100%. The success of this KBM is due to several factors, namely: (1) Selection of materials that are in accordance with the needs and interests of students, (2) Use of interesting and interactive learning methods and (3) Motivation and dedication of the presenters. Based on the results of this study, it can be concluded that KBM is an effective way to increase students' insight and motivation. Therefore, KBM needs to be continuously developed and implemented in other schools.
