Abstract

ABSTRACT This study aims to examine the effect of learning motivation and learning discipline on students’ learning outcomes. The research employed a quantitative approach with an ex post facto design. The sample consisted of 35 students selected using purposive sampling. Data were collected through questionnaires to measure learning motivation and learning discipline, as well as documentation to obtain students’ learning outcomes. Data analysis was conducted using multiple linear regression with the assistance of SPSS software, preceded by prerequisite tests. The results indicate that learning motivation has a positive and significant effect on students’ learning outcomes. Learning discipline also has a positive and significant effect on students’ learning outcomes. Simultaneously, learning motivation and learning discipline significantly influence students’ learning outcomes, accounting for 53.7% of the variance, while the remaining 46.3% is explained by other factors outside the scope of this study. These findings confirm that learning motivation and learning discipline are crucial determinants of students’ academic achievement in madrasah education. This study is expected to contribute both theoretically and practically to the development of instructional strategies and character education in Islamic secondary schools Keywords: learning motivation, learning discipline, learning outcomes.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the influence of Islamic Religious Education (PAI) teachers’ spiritual competence on the formation of students’ religious morals at a senior high school in Sungai Apit District, Siak Regency. Teachers’ spiritual competence includes faith, piety, exemplary behavior, discipline, and consistency in worship, while students’ religious morals encompass discipline, obedience in worship, good character, responsibility, and daily behavior. This study uses a quantitative approach with an ex post facto method and associative research type. The population consists of all students, with a sample of 40 selected through proportional random sampling. Data were collected using a four-point Likert scale questionnaire and analyzed using normality and linearity tests, simple regression, t-test, and determination test (R²) with SPSS. The results show that PAI teachers’ spiritual competence has a significant effect on the formation of students’ religious morals. The R² value of 0.514 indicates that 51.4% of the variation in students’ religious morals can be explained by teachers’ competence. These findings emphasize the importance of strengthening teachers’ spiritual competence through training, character development, and routine supervision to cultivate students with noble character and strong religiosity.

Abstract

ABSTRAK Hasil belajar siswa pada mata pelajaran Fiqih dipengaruhi oleh berbagai faktor, baik internal maupun eksternal. Faktor eksternal yang memiliki peranan penting antara lain lingkungan belajar dan fasilitas belajar. Perbedaan kondisi lingkungan serta ketersediaan fasilitas belajar di sekolah sering menimbulkan variasi hasil belajar siswa. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh lingkungan belajar dan fasilitas belajar terhadap hasil belajar siswa pada mata pelajaran Fiqih di MA PP–MTI Tg. Berulak Tahun Pelajaran 2025/2026. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan jenis penelitian ex post facto. Populasi penelitian adalah seluruh siswa kelas X1 dan X2 yang berjumlah 67 siswa, dengan teknik pengambilan sampel menggunakan total sampling. Pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui angket untuk mengukur lingkungan belajar dan fasilitas belajar, serta dokumentasi untuk memperoleh data hasil belajar Fiqih. Data dianalisis menggunakan analisis regresi linear berganda dengan uji t, uji F, dan koefisien determinasi (R²). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa lingkungan belajar dan fasilitas belajar masing-masing berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap hasil belajar Fiqih siswa. Secara simultan, kedua variabel tersebut memberikan kontribusi sebesar 41,2% terhadap hasil belajar Fiqih. Penelitian ini menyimpulkan bahwa peningkatan kualitas lingkungan belajar dan fasilitas belajar secara terpadu dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa.
