Abstract

An article entitled The Philosophy of the Melasti Ceremony as a Series of Nyepi Holy Days for the Saka New Year 1945 for Hindus in Central Kalimantan. Philosophically, the Melasti Ceremony means a spiritual and physical purification ceremony for the impurities that occur in the universe according to the teachings of Hinduism. The essence of the description of this article is about the time of the Melasti Ceremony, its literary sources, the place of the Melasti Ceremony, Nyasa or the Melasti Ceremony Symbol, the Purpose of the Melasti Ceremony, the Manggala Melasti Ceremony, the Offerings, the Religious Facilities for the Melasti Ceremony, the Meaning of the Melasti Ceremony according to the sacred literature of the Bhagavadgita, the Meaning of Melasti according to the holy book Saraamuscaya, the meaning of Melasti according to the holy book Manawadharmasastra, and the philosophy of the holy day of Nyepi for the Saka New Year 1945. The place for holding the Melasti ceremony for Hindus in Palangka Raya City, Central Kalimantan province is located on the Kahayan river, because every year the place for the Melasti ceremony has been determined on the banks of the Kahayan river near the Sukarno monument, Palangka Raya City.

Abstract

Pendidikan prenatal merupakan pendidikan awal yang sangat penting. Karena dengan pendidikan ini setidaknya orang tua telah berusaha untuk menanamkan karakterkarakter baik pada anak. Dalam ajaran Agama Hindu, orang tua hendaknya melaksanakan penyucian terhadap anak agar apa yang dicita-citakan utamanya dalam mendidik anak dapat terwujud dengan baik. Dengan demikian pentingnya pendidikan pranatal, yang prosesnya terutama dimulai dari terbentuknya janin, atau bayi masih dalam kandungan yang membutuhkan asupan gizi yang baik. Namun pemahaman umat Hindu di Desa Bereng Rambang terkait pemahaman pendidikan prenatal masih kurang, sehingga perlu pemahaman terkait pendidikan prenatal tersebut untuk pencegahan stunting.

Abstract

Pasraman Penyang Hinje Simpei Kasongan as a Hindu educational institution has an important role in maintaining and disseminating Hindu religious, cultural, and spiritual values ​​to the younger generation. The formation of children's characteristics with good education will create good children or suputra children, education is needed in learning. However, the presence of stunting is a marker of the risk of poor child development for pasraman children. Therefore, stunting prevention education is needed that aims to ensure that Pasraman Penyang Hinje Simpei children can grow and develop optimally and maximally, accompanied by emotional, social, and physical abilities that are ready to learn. This study aims to find and obtain facts, data and descriptions of strategies and efforts made in stunting prevention education through Hindu educational institutions in Kasongan City, Katingan Regency. The method used in this study uses a research method with a qualitative approach. The results of the study found strategies for stunting prevention through Hindu educational institutions as well as stunting prevention education efforts through Hindu educational institutions in Kasongan City, Katingan Regency.
