Abstract

The purpose of this study is to reveal personal branding strategies through captions of new students' self-concepts on Instagram media. The subjects of this study were freshmen in the first semester, who experienced a transitional period of changing status from student to student. Qualitative research method used with content analysis approach. Data were obtained through written documents, from uploading captions about self-concept, and interviews. Self-concept is defined as a way of looking at oneself. The development of a positive self-concept is the basic ingredient for implementing a personal branding strategy. Personal branding is defined as an individual's effort to market himself to gain positive credibility recognition from others. The results of the study indicate that the caption upload contains a self-concept, includes self-introduction about the current condition, expectations and self-assessment of the advantages and disadvantages that are in accordance with the concept of forming personal branding. Where the self-concept modeling process, assisted by critical assessment, is able to form different choices for the desired personal branding. The practical implication is that the disclosure of the meaning of the self-concept caption with the personal branding point of view is that for individuals it can form a positive image through a digital track record, for other people/society/netizens/followers to perceive individuals correctly and for business people it can be used as a reference for assessing the feasibility of individuals becoming endorsement of products or services offered.

Abstract

Pergerakan komunitas merk kustom kulture di Surabaya mempromosikan bentuk akulturasi budaya kustom Barat dengan kearifan lokal budaya Indonesia melalui manajemen event bertajuk “Nala Wahana Trusing Hyang”. Upaya mengenalkan kembali nilai kearifan lokal Jawa sentris sebagai budaya Nusantara menunjukkan kekayaan nilai-nilai syarat makna adiluhung untuk diterjemahkan ke dalam pagelaran budaya kustom generasi milenial oleh komunitas House of Customland. Tujuan event promosi kearifan lokal pada komunitas budaya kustom diadakan untuk memperkuat kesadaran generasi milenial terhadap kekayaan budaya Nusantara, khususnya Jawa sentris, agar tidak selalu condong mengadopsi budaya Barat. Metode analisis konten digunakan untuk mengidentifikasi konsep event budaya kustom berbasis kearifan lokal. Hasil analisis konten menemukan bahwa akulturasi seni, desain, industri dan teknologi budaya kustom dapat dipadukan dengan konsep tradisional yang mengandung nilai-nilai luhur Nusantara.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to analyze the influence of professional ethics on the credibility of public accountants through audit judgment moderated by locus of control. The research was conducted on public accountants who worked at 24 KAPs in East Java which were registered in the database of Otoritas Jasa Keuangan (OJK). The data that has been obtained was analyzed quantitatively with path analysis to examine the effect of mediating variables and moderated regression analysis to examine the effect of moderating variables. The results of the study show that Professional Ethics has a direct and indirect effect on the Credibility of Public Accountants through Audit Judgment. Testing with the moderating variable gives two different results. First, Locus of Control can moderate the influence of Professional Ethics on the Credibility of Public Accountants, and secondly, Locus of Control does not moderate the effect of Audit Judgment on the Credibility of Public Accountants

Abstract

The basis for forming a child's character starts with how to apply an effective pattern of environmental communication. In its application, problems arose among the village partners, both teachers, parents and children regarding the implementation of child care. The aim of this activity is to increase knowledge and understanding of communication patterns in the surrounding environment in implementing character education for children. Activities are carried out in the form of implementing the Real Work Lecture (KKN) program through mentoring with parents, the community and students according to scientific fields/work programs ranging from education, parenting, health, security and creative-productive. The result of this community service activity is that it can increase the community's knowledge and understanding of children's communication patterns in character education from the perspective of various work programs. The implication of community service activities (KKN) is that work program materials and practices can help village managers/officials apply the principles of parenting in their social interaction activities so that parents and children can overcome the problems of violence against children, malnutrition and increase their creativity together.

Abstract

Lapangan usaha pada sektor pertanian, perikanan dan industri pengolahan di Desa Pengulu sangat beragam. Kondisi tersebut merangsang munculnya UMKM yang saling terkait dengan potensi lokal yang dimiliki Desa Pengulu dengan wilayah desa lainnya di Kecamatan Sidayu, Kabupaten Gresik. Permasalahan yang terjadi menunjukkan kurang berkembangnya produk Bonggolan dari sisi pemasaran dikarenakan minimnya pendidikan dalam mengembangkan potensi lokal yang ada. Potensi UMKM membutuhkan penguatan melalui pengabdian masyarakat dengan basis pemberian edukasi tentang marketing mix 7P untuk mengembangkan produk Bonggolan. Peningkatan dan perbaikan atas kendala yang dihadapi dengan keterkaitan antar komponen marketing mix 7P untuk meningkatkan penjualan dan kepuasan konsumen. Dampak yang dihasilkan dari pengabdian masyarakat menunjukkan peningkatan kesadaran masyarakat desa dalam upayanya untuk pengembangan produk, peningkatan kesejahteraan warga dan perekonomian desa Pengulu

Abstract

Government policies such as Work Form Home (WFH), social distancing, and Large-Scale Social Restrictions (PSBB) in the last two years have still had an impact on reducing people's purchasing power. One of the disadvantaged sectors is MSME. This service aims to provide financial governance assistance as an effort to control and control family finances for housewives who own MSMEs in Banjarsari Village. The role of housewives who own MSMEs is vital in managing the family economy. The key to family success is how to manage family finances well. This service uses the workshop method by applying the preparation of financial reports using simple accounting. Participants in this activity were 25 people who were then assisted in preparing simple finances. Where this service produces simple bookkeeping that describes the finances of each MSME in Banjarsari Village as a form of careful implementation of financial control and control. Knowledge and soft skills regarding family financial management for housewives who own MSMEs are needed to manage the family economy and their business ventures.

Abstract

Usaha rumahan di sektor Usaha Mikro Kecil Menengah (UMKM) di kelurahan Taman membutuhkan pengembangan dari sisi komunikasi pemasaran. Urgensi komunikasi pemasaran difokuskan pada bagaimana tata kelolanya menekankan aspek informatif, bujukan dan pengingat konsumen secara langsung/tidak langsung pada produk atau merek yang ditawarkan. Ruang lingkup pengembangan mengarah pada kemampuan menciptakan storytelling pada media sosial sebagai alat komunikasi pemasaran. Kemampuan storytelling memiliki pendekatan emosional dalam menarik permintaan konsumen. Untuk itu, kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat dengan bermitra pelaku UMKM di kelurahan Taman ini diarahkan dalam membantu mengatasi permasalahan minimnya kemampuan storytelling pelaku bisnis dan meningkatkan kemampuan komunikasi pemasaran produk atau mereknya.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan akurasi dan kualitas data desa Simo Angin-Angin untuk perencanaan dan pengambilan keputusan yang lebih baik. Program SDGs bertujuan memperbaiki pengumpulan dan analisis data melalui kolaborasi antara perangkat desa dan mahasiswa KKN. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif deskrisptif dengan cara observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi untuk menilai dampak program. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kolaborasi tersebut berhasil mengembangkan database yang komprehensif dan berkualitas tinggi, yang difasilitasi oleh teknologi digital. Hal ini tidak hanya meningkatkan transparansi dan partisipasi masyarakat desa, tetapi juga memberikan pengalaman berharga bagi mahasiswa KKN. Inisiatif ini menjadi model bagi desa lain yang ingin memodernisasi sistem pengelolaan data mereka dan meningkatkan upaya pembangunan lokal.
