Abstract

Program pokok organisasi Pemberdayaan Kesejahteraan Keluarga (PKK) kedelapan adalah pengembangan kehidupan berkoperasi. Namun demikian masih banyak organisasi PKK dan juga anggota organisasi PKK yang belum memahami mengenai koperasi. Pengabdian masyarakat ini merupakan upaya untuk mengembangkan kehidupan berkoperasi pada PKK Bina Wilayah IV Desa Kebocoran, Kecamatan Kedungbanteng, Kabupaten Banyumas. Kegiatan pengabdian dilakukan melalui sosialisasi perkoperasian, stimulasi pendanaan dan bantuan administrasi, pelatihan administrasi dan pendirian organisasi koperasi. Hasil kegiatan pendirian organisasi pra koperasi sekaligus sebagai output kegiatan pengabdian, terdapatnya peningkatan pemahaman anggota PKK Bina Wilayah IV terhadap koperasi, terjadinya partisipasi anggota dalam penghimpunan dana koperasi serta terbantunya sebagian anggota dalam memenuhi modal untuk melakukan usaha ekonomi produktif. Implikasi pengabdian masih sangat diperlukan upaya memasyarakatkan koperasi secara berkelanjutan.

Abstract

Perempuan kepala keluarga (Pekka) adalah kaum perempuan yang karena satu dan lain hal menjadi kepala keluarga. Sebagai Pekka perempuan mempunyai beban tanggung jawab yang berat untuk kelangsungan hidupnya dan anak-anaknya. Mereka merupakan kelompok masyarakat yang rentan secara sosial dan ekonomi. Adanya Covid 19 dan kebijakan Pemberlakuan Pembatasan Kegiatan Masyarakat (PPKM) telah menyebabkan penurun kegiatan ekonomi, terlebih pada Pekka. Tujuan pengabdian masyarakat ini untuk meningkatkan keberdayaan ekonomi Pekka pasca Covid 19, melalui upaya meningkatkan kegiatan ekonomi produktif. Kegiatan dilakukan melalui sosialisasi untuk meningkatkan kesadaran mengenai potensi diri dan stimulus untuk meningkatkan kegiatan ekonomi produktif dan kemandirian ekonomi. Hasil kegiatan, untuk : 1. Pekka yang melakukan kegiatan ekonomi produktif dengan berjualan bertekat untuk meneruskan dan meningkatkan lagi aktifitas kegiatan ekonomi produktifnya; 2. Kesepakatan mendirikan pra koperasi untuk meningkatkan kemandirian ekonomi dan kegiatan ekonomi produktif secara bersama. Output kegiatan berupa produk yaitu organisasi Pra Koperasi Lestari Mandiri, yang dibentuk dengan Surat Keputusan Lurah Pabuwaran Kecamatan Purwokerto Utara Nomor 7 Tahun 2022 tentang Pembentukan Pra Koperasi Lestari Mandiri bagi Perempuan Kepala keluarga. Implikasi pemberdayaan masyarahat harus dilakukan secara bertahap dan berkesinambungan disertai dukungan dari stake holder terkait.

Abstract

In international economic studies, the relationship between exports and economic growth has long been a subject of debate. Two key hypotheses growth-led export and export-led growth have been proposed to explain this linkage. This study investigates the validity of both hypotheses in four ASEAN NICs (Indonesia, Thailand, Malaysia, and the Philippines) from 2000 to 2023 using the Granger Causality Test. It also examines the interaction between the two variables through a linear framework utilizing the Autoregressive Distributed Lag (ARDL) model. The Granger causality results indicate that economic growth causally influences exports, thereby supporting the growth-led export hypothesis in all four countries. Moreover, the ARDL findings reveal that economic growth exerts a positive impact on exports in both the short and long term. These results underscore the importance of promoting economic activity, particularly in productive sectors that can strengthen export performance.

Abstract

Economic growth serves as a fundamental aspect of national development, typically assessed through the increases in Gross Domestic Product (GDP) and Gross Regional Domestic Product (GRDP). While it plays a crucial role in enhancing income and overall welfare, an exclusive emphasis on economic growth without considering social and political equity can lead to significant vulnerabilities. In this context, Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) are essential, as they provide substantial contributions to job creation and economic resilience, particularly in developing countries like Indonesia.This study explores the impact of e-commerce on the economic growth of MSMEs in Banyumas Regency. Utilizing a descriptive qualitative research methodology, data were collected through interviews and direct observations, supported by secondary literature. The findings indicate that the integration of e-commerce has not significantly influenced the income of MSME owners and farmers, revealing a preference for conventional business models. This situation underscores the need for a comprehensive strategy to effectively leverage digital technology to enhance the competitiveness and income of MSMEs

Abstract

This research aims to examine the influence of economic factors on the dropout rate in Sumbang District, Banyumas Regency. Quantitative methods are used by collecting data through questionnaires and secondary data sources, then analyzed using multiple linear regression. The main variables studied are unemployment and poverty as economic factors that affect education. The results of the analysis show that both variables have a significant influence on the level of education with a contribution of 23.8% to the variation in dropouts. In addition to economic factors, there are also other factors that play an important role such as student motivation, family support, social environment, and health conditions. This study concludes that handling the problem of dropping out of school must be carried out with a comprehensive approach that does not only focus on financial assistance, but also on improving the quality of education and a conducive learning environment
