Abstract

Abstract: This research aimed to see the improve of the student affective learning result of class XI SMAN Plus Riau Province by applying the student facilitator explaining learning model on Wafe Classification Lesson. The subjects of this research was 25 students of class XI MS 1 SMAN Plus Riau Province 2016/2017 academic year. The data in this research was primary data that obtained from pretest and posttest score using self-assessment, peer assessment and observation assessment sheets that was analyzed descriptively. Questionnaire of self-assessment and peer assessment consists of seven indicators that is honest, good manners, confidence, responsibility, tolerance, curiosity and hard work. The observation sheets consists of five indicators: responsibility, trust, tolerance, curiosity and hard work. The result of affective learning in this research shows the increasing of self-assessment, that is 0.10 with low category, peer assessment 0.10 with low category and the observation is 0.38 with medium category. At can be concluded from all assessments with existing indicators obtained a gain score that is 0.19 with low category.Keywords: Affective learning, Student facilitator and Explaning and Wave Classification

Abstract

Abstract: The purpose of this study was to examine the practicalities of product resulting from the research design and validation aircraft simple experiment devices base on equipment of traditional culture that has been done before. Methodology of the research used is reseacrh and development.This research do in SMP Negeri 18 Pekanbaru with the subject of study aircraft simple experiment devices base on equipment of traditional culture, consist of 3 people science teacher and 36 students junior high school. Practicality data a device on an aircraft simple students obtained through an instrument chief practicalities device according to teachers and students. Analysis of the data in this study is descriptive analysis to categorize the average score of practicalities of aircraft simple experiment devices base on equipment of traditional culture. Based on analysis of the research data obtained the average score to a category very good for all the aspects regarded as on the device experiment the tools and students worksheets of rice pounder, wringer coconut milk, repellent birds, inclide plane and pulley . The conclusion of this research aicraft simple experiment devices base on traditional culture practice devices for use as a medium of learning physics in senior junior school.Key word : Practicality, aircraft simple experiment devices base on equipment oftraditional culture.

Abstract

Abstract: The research aims to know the effectiveness of th of a simple machine experiment equipment based traditional culture as a medium of learning to improve students’ motivation in science learning of SMP. This research was done with the One-Group Pretest-Posttest Desaign. The subjects were students of class VIII SMP Muhammadiyah Kuok applying simple machine experiment equipment based traditional culture as a medium of learning. The instruments used in data collection nomina was a questionnaire motivation ARCS consisting of indicator Attention, Relevance, Confidence, and Satisfaction. Data were analyzed students’ motivation to learn physics through descriptive analysis. The results of data analysis, for attention indicator values obtained for the gain of 0.46 with intermediate categories. for relavance indicator values obtained for the gain of 0.37 with intermediate categories. for convidence indicator values obtained for the gain of 0.51 with intermediate categories. for satisfaction indicator values obtained for the gain of 0.40 with intermediate categories. And for to all syudents obtained for the gain of 0.43 with intermediate categories. From the result of data analysis can be concluded thet learning use of a simple machine experiment equipment based traditional culture as a medium of learning to increase students’ motivation is said the effectiveness of the intermediate category.Keywords: Effectiveness, Students’ Motivation, medium of learning, Traditional culture

Abstract

Abstract: This study aimed to examine the practicalities of products resulting from the research design and experimental validation of the concept calorimetry gas as a medium of learning high school physics that has been done before. In this study, the experimental concept of gas calorimetry tested for use at 15 students and 3 teachers from AL-FITYAH SMA and SMA 12 Pekanbaru. In this study, the teacher acts as an observer and student acts as a user. Based on the analysis of data on the observation of the practicalities of votes according to observers, showed that the experimental device is practically used as a medium of learning with the criteria of High and Very High. While data on the practicalities assessment questionnaire by the user, it also shows that the experimental device is practically used as a medium of learning with the criteria of High and Very High. Overall, the learning device calorimetry gas concept makes it easy for teachers and students as medium of learning with criteria Very High.Keywords: Crossword Puzzle Method, Cooperative Learning, the Scientific Attitude

Abstract

Abstract: The purpose of this research was to determine the improvement of students' understanding of physics concepts in the interpretation of the indicator by using contextual learning at class XI SMAN 1 Gaung Anak Serka. The expected benefits of this research was to provide alternative learning to improved students' understanding of physics concepts and maximize the performance of teachers in achieving educational goals. This research was conducted on October 2014 to February 2015. The type of this research was a quasy experimental design with Nonequivalent Control Group Design. The subjects were two classes of XI IA at SMAN 1 Gaung Anak Serka there were class XI IA 1 as a control class with 23 students and class XI IA 2 as an experimental class with 24 students. From the data obtained there were differences in absorption and gain scores between the control and experimental classes. The average of absorption experiment class was 73.26% in medium category, while the average of absorption in the control class was 50.54% that was included in the category of very low. For the average of Gain score experimental class was 0.46 that was included in the medium category, while the average of Gain score control class was 0.13 that was included in the low category. So it can be concluded that contextual learning provided the improvement on students’ understanding of physics concepts interpretation indicators at class XI SMAN 1 Gaung Anak Serka.Keywords: understanding physics concepts, interpretation indicators, contextual learning

Abstract

The purpose of this research was to make learning media in a kind of Van de Graaff Generator to explain the static electric concept. The stages of this research were designing, making, and testing the effectiveness of Van de Graaff Generator. The making of Van de Graaff generator used simple devices and materials that have already available in local market, such as steel ball, electric motor, elastic belt, metal brush, and DC power supply. The testing was done qualitatively and semi qualitatively to the contents of the ball by measuring the voltage of the ground-ball. The maximum voltage ball is 942V which was produced from entry voltage on the strengthener series 6V, with the motor voltage 18V. Abstract

This research purpose to analyze effective usage of the media in the course of study and also know student response to usage of the appliance. This subject of the research was the students of XB Class of SMA 12 Pekanbaru consist of 44 students. Compiler data instrument in the form of the test result of learning to see the effectiveness of the appliance and questionnaire to know efficiency and also student response to the appliance. In analyzing data used by descriptive analysis and analysis usage of alternative media for thestudy of wave and optic in class XB. From data analysis obtained by usage of physics appliance effective enough where mean student absorption 74,70 %, while physic appliance efficiency resides in a high category with the mean score as a whole is 4,01. While the analysis of usage of media can be categorized is effective, although done by activity is the student cannot in perceiving directly, because of the limitation of time in study. So that more student work and can do experiments at home by teaming.
