Abstract

Abstract: The purpose of this research was to develop are alternative equipment of electromagnetic induction experiment as physics teaching and learning media, resulting in a viable and valid device used as a media of instruction. The object of this research was an experiment equipment consist of experiment tool and guided book. Data was collected by using assessment sheets of validation that has been given to validators, in which 3 validators were lecturers as expert and 2 validators were physics teachers. The data was analyzed descriptively to find index of validity of experiment equipment. We found that experiment equipment validation was 3,78 with the very high category and experiment guided book with validation was 3,74 with the very high category. Based on the data analysis we have been concluded that an experiment equipment of alternative electromagnetic induction as the media in learning physics at SMA can be said valid with the very high category and feasible to be done trial at school.Keyword: Develop, Eksperiment equitment, Electromagnetic Induction.

Abstract

Abstract: Physics for high school consists of abstract subjects generally. Student still think that these abstract subjects have been being a barrier for them in studying physics. Teacher need to be more creative to deliver these abstract physics subjects into concrete subjects. The aims for this research are to develop physics media learning on concept and phenomenon of quantum using Adobe Flash CS 6 and to validate the media become a valid one. The method that has been used in this research is Research and Development (R&D) ADDIE type. The development of media learning including the searching of some problem and potentional background, literature study, product design, design validity and final product. The instrument of this research was quesioner that evaluate media learning which consist of four aspects there are development, pedagogik, content, and technic. Validation mean score for development aspect is 4,22, pedagogik aspect is 4,31, content aspect is 4,30 and technic aspect is 4,30. The result of media validation mean score is 4,28 with very high category and r value = 0,856 with validation category is very high validity. Media learning concept and phenomenon of quantum using Adobe Flash has been successfully developed and has the final result as a valid media. Abstract

Abstract: This study aims to describe the results of interactive multimedia empirical analysis used for physics learning concept material and quantum phenomena for grade XII students of SM /MA includes validity and reliability. This type of research is a survey study, with the implementation procedure referring to research procedures developed according to the important steps in survey research. The subjects in this study are students of class XII MIA 1 MAN 2 Model Pekanbaru that consist of 14 male and 12 female students. The data in this research is a score of multimedia assessment given to the respondents through questionnaires that consist of display aspect, pedagogic aspect, content aspect and technical aspect. Furthermore the data is analyzed by validity test through Product Moment correlation technique and the average formula, while reliability test through cronbach's alpha technique. According to the data analysis, the validity of the scores of all respondents to interactive multimedia is greater than critical r with the result that every aspect is declared valid. Reliability’s score for all respondents to interactive multimedia has a value of cronbach's alpha is greater than 0,7 videlicet = 0.951. It can be concluded that interactive multimedia concepts and quantum phenomena are empirically declared valid and reliable. Eventually, it is feasible to be used for physics learning media in SMA/MA.Keywords: Empiris Analysis, Interactive Multimedia, The Concept and Quantum Phenomena

Abstract

Abstract: The study was aimed to determine the level of attitudes toward student science, student’s cognitive abilities and determine the relationship between attitudes toward science with the cognitive ability of physics science students in grade VIII SLTP in coastal areas (Kecamatan Pulau Merbau). The survey method was used as research method. The data of attitude toward science of student’s was obtained from questionnaire scores. Meanwhile the data of student’s cognitive ability was obtained from the result of mid term test. The results showed that the attitudes toward science of VIII grade students in coastal areas (Kec. Pulau Merbau) were in high category. While the cognitive abilities of students were in the low category. After the significance test was done, there was no significant influence between attitude toward science students with cognitive ability of students in class VIII SLTP in coastal area (Kecamatan Pulau Merbau).Keywords: Attitudes towards science, cognitive ability

Abstract

In order for science learning to be interesting and beneficial for students, science instructions must be oriented to the students daily environment. One way to link science instruction with the surrounding environment is by showing the application of scientific concepts to the appropriate technology. For students who live and study in coastal areas, the application of the concept of science should be linked to the sea that they observe every day. In this study a set of science learning media has been developed in the form of sea-wave power plant model. This model is designed so that it can visualize the process of using sea waves to produce electrical energy in the small scale. Expert assessment shows that the model of sea-wave power plant is declared valid so, it is suitable to be used as an instructional media for junior high school in science learning.

Abstract

Abstract: The purpose of this study was to examine the practicalities of product resulting from the research design and validation devices alternative electromagnetic induction experiment that has been done before. There are 15 students and 4 teachers from three senior high school in the city of Pekanbaru has been participated in this research. Data analyzed by using desciptif statistic. Data was collected by using the practicality questionnaire, interview protocol, and observation sheet. Based on the data analysis question form (questionnaire) obtained the value of the practicality of experimental device according to the teacher. Experimental tools and guides its use can help facilitate the teacher in the learning process of electromagnetic induction with the acquisition value of the practicality of the product is at high and very high category so device experiment practical used the teacher. From the results of question form (questionnaire) test the practicalities according to student, experimental device given ease in studying electromagnetic induction with the score on categories of high and very high. So the device experimental and guide book also practical used student. The practicality of experimental devices are supported by the results of the interviews and observations of research that given the same description that alternative electromagnetic induction experiment device can facilitate teacher and student in the learning process of electromagnetic induction.Key word : Practicality, alternative experiment device of electromagnetic induction.

Abstract

Abstract: This study aims to determine the increase fine motor skills in children aged 4-5 years through weaving activities in early childhood Darussalam Petapahan Jaya Village District Tapung Regency Kampar. This study is kind studies using action research or (PTK) is conducted in two cycles. Each cycle consists of planning, action planning, observation / evaluation and reflection. Subject empirically n are children aged 4-5 years are numbered 15 children in early childhood Darussalam , The research data obtained through observation and data analysis was done by using quantitative descriptive analysis. The research shows that the weaving activity can improve fine motor skills in children aged 4-5 year. It can be seen from the increase in the average percentage of fine motor skills in the first cycle of 56.33%, which is the category of pretty and an increase of 36.68% in the second cycle be 76.99% which are in both categories. So, weaving activities can improve fine motor skills children aged 4-5 years in early childhood Darussalam Petapahan Jaya Village District Tapung Regency KamparKeywords : Fine Motor Skill, Weaving Activity With Colored Paper

Abstract

Abstract: This study aims to determine the increase intrapersonal intelligence in children ages 5 -6 years through traditional games in TK Tunas Harapan Makmur subdistrict Sei Lambu Tapung Kampar regency. This study is je nis studies using action research or (PTK) is conducted in two cycles. Each cycle consists of planning, action planning, observation / evaluation and reflection. Subject empirically n are children aged 4-5 years are numbered 15 children in kindergarten Tunas Harapan Sei Lambu , The research data obtained through observation and data analysis was done by using quantitative descriptive analysis. The research shows that traditional games can improve intrapersonal intelligence in children aged 5-6 year. It can be seen from the increase in the average percentage of intrapersonal intelligence in the first cycle of 54.11%, which is in the category of less and an increase of 46.6% in the second cycle becomes 79.3% were located in both categories. Thus, traditional games can improve intrapersonal intelligence of children aged 5-6 years in kindergarten Tunas Harapan Makmur subdistrict Sei Lambu Tapung Kampar regency.Keywords : Intrapersonal intelligence, Traditional game

Abstract

A take home experiment's kit has been developed in order to help junior high school students to increase their scientific skills and attitudes. Scientific skills that consist of science process skills and manipulative skills, and scientific attitudes of students can be developed only through hands on activity in observing science objects or phenomena and experimenting. By using this simple experiment's kit, students can be able to conduct their home experiments whenever and wherever. What they have done in their experiments and what their experiment's finding will be discuss in classroom with their science teacher. The purpose of this study was to develop light and optical kits that can used by students for conducting science experiment at home. The development of this take home experiment kit has used ADDIE's model,  one of the instructional design systems. The steps of this development research were: analysis, design, development, implementation, and evaluation. This take home experiment kit has gone through the stages of expert judgment and practicality testing.
