Abstract

In the last few years, Islamic banking in Indonesia has shown a positive development which is shown through the addition of Islamic banks in Indonesia. To increase its market share, Islamic banking needs to analyze what factors influence the community to be willing to become customers in Islamic banks, one of which is through service quality. This study aims to examine the effect of service quality on customer satisfaction of Islamic banks in the city of Pekanbaru. The research method used is multiple regression analysis where the sample used in this study was 200 customers. The results showed that overall dimensions of service quality have a significant positive effect on customer satisfaction, which means that the better the quality of service starting from physical evidence, responsive data, reliability, assurance and empathy provided by Islamic Banking will be able to increase customer satisfaction and vice versa. Abstract

Wakaf merupakan salah satu instrumen keuangan syariah yang memiliki fungsi penting dalam perkembangan ekonomi syariah, khususnya bagi pembangunan negara-negara muslim termasuk Indonesia. Indonesia sebagai negara muslim terbesar di dunia memiliki potensi besar dalam pengelolaan dana abadi untuk pembangunan seperti halnya negara-negara lain yang telah berhasil mengelola dana abadi mereka secara produktif seperti Mesir, Turki, Bangladesh, Kuwait, dan Pakistan. Keberhasilan pengelolaan dana wakaf tidak lepas dari peran seorang nazir yang mengelola dana wakaf secara optimal. Oleh karena itu, seorang nazir dituntut memiliki kompetensi dan profesional dengan kompetensinya dan memenuhi kriteria tertentu dengan harapan dana wakaf dapat dikelola lebih produktif. Waqf is one of the Islamic financial instruments which have important functions in the development of the Islamic economy, especially for Muslim countries development including Indonesia. Indonesia as the largest Muslim country in the world has great potential in the management of endowment funds for development as well as other countries that have been successful in managing their endowment fund productively such as Egypt, Turkey, Bangladesh, Kuwait, and Pakistan. The success of management endowment funds can not be separated from the role of a nazir who manages endowment funds optimally. Therefore, a nazir is required to be competent and professional with their competency and fulfill certain criteria in the hope the endowment fund can be managed more productively.

Abstract

The urgency of this research is the great potential of the barge burning tradition to become a tourism based on cultural heritage and local traditions that have cultural and historical value and is a local wisdom that can improve the welfare of the community. However, there is still little in-depth research on how to develop  the Cultural Heritage-Based Tourism Management Model on barge fire tourism objects which includes the identification of cultural heritage, the development of tourism products, infrastructure development, marketing development and effective management and monitoring so that it can maximize the existing potential and have a significant impact on improving the community's economy. For this reason, this research aims to fill the knowledge gap by studying the potentials that exist in tourism in improving the community's economy. This research method uses a quantitative approach through data collection/survey on all barge tour visitors in Rokan Hilir Regency with a sample of 400 visitors and conducting interviews with relevant stakeholders. The data analysis techniques used are SWOT and QSPM analysis by analyzing the external and internal environment. The findings indicate that cultural heritage-based tourism development through the Bakar Tongkang tradition in Rokan Hilir Regency has good prospects for improving the local economy, as reflected by IFAS and EFAS scores of 3.28 and 2.89, respectively. The priority strategy is to optimize digital promotion and integrated annual event management, supported by infrastructure improvements, tourism product innovation, and strengthened local wisdom-based management.
