Abstract

Communication is something that cannot be separated in human life because in essence humans are social creatures who need other people. Interpersonal communication is a form of communication that occurs every day in human life. Likewise in the marketing process carried out by a marketer with his clients. In this process there is a form of communication called interpersonal communication. Celebrity fitness has several programs that must be marketed to its members through a marketing. When the marketing process requires a marketer to visit members who are exercising. Then when you are marketing that is what is called interpersonal communication. Broadly speaking, the role of marketing is to market the company's products to customers. The scope of the discussion in this journal is to find out the processes and activities in interpersonal communication between marketing and members at celebrity fitness.

Abstract

Abstract

Marketing communication strategies have an important role in the success of selling a product. Then marketing communication can also arouse and develop consumer awareness of the product/service of a business so that consumers are aware of the products/services offered. The purpose of this study is to find out how the marketing communication strategy carried out by online shops Cemeal_an in marketing their products on Instagram. Descriptive qualitative research is research using the case study method (case study). The results of this study show that the marketing communication strategies carried out by Cemeal_an through Instagram social media are proven not all to meet the existing marketing mix, but their consumers know the information about the product quite clearly. The selection of media used should be more optimized and support marketing communication activities in other ways so that the application of marketing communication can run more to keep up with the development of a very modern era like today.

Abstract

This research is a research that analyzes Javanese cultural values in the religious cinema film When Love Recites Tasbih 2. The formulation of the problem in this research is what are the signs and meanings that represent Javanese cultural values in the cinema film When Love Recites Tasbih 2. This research uses data analysis, namely the meaning of symbols as a semiotic study. The method used is a qualitative descriptive method that shows the results of the research that emphasizes meaning rather than generalization. The data in this study presents verbal texts and nonverbal texts. Verbal texts are in the form of writing and speaking, while nonverbal texts are in the form of images or settings contained in the film. As for the data collection technique, the researcher used the note-taking technique in the form of (1) watching the film, (2) noting the things needed, (3) collecting (screen capture), (4) selecting, and (5) analyzing to obtain conclusions. The researcher used Charles Sanders Pierce's semiotic study by focusing on the meaning of symbols as the data obtained. Furthermore, the data was analyzed to obtain the cultural values contained in the film. The researcher found 4 images and narratives that contain symbolic meanings related to Javanese cultural elements. Researchers found cultural values in the form of words and locations in Central Java.

Abstract

This study analyzes the representation of the meaning of strong women in the main character, Tari, in the film Bolehkah Sekali Saja Ku Menangis using Roland Barthes' semiotic theory. The film emotionally depicts Tari’s life journey, from psychological pressure and harsh treatment within the family to the long process of rediscovering her true identity. Despite emotional wounds, Tari shows resilience and strength to rise. This study aims to identify how the meaning of a strong woman is constructed through cinematic elements such as visuals, dialogues, body expressions, and symbols in the film. Using a qualitative approach with Barthes' semiotic theory, the analysis focuses on the relationship between signs, denotative meaning, and connotative meaning in key scenes. Data was collected through in-depth observation and sign analysis of scenes that portray Tari's struggle, perseverance, and emotional transformation. The findings show that Tari represents a strong woman not only through physical endurance but also emotional resilience, self-empowerment, mental health awareness, and the courage to seek support. The film delivers a message about the importance of mental strength and women's courage in fighting for their rights and freedom. This study is expected to enrich the study of the representation of strong women in the media.

Abstract

Penelitian ini membahas bagaimana perempuan pengguna skincare memahami tayangan edukasi dari akun TikTok Dokter Detektif (Doktif). Konten-konten Doktif dianggap menarik karena menyampaikan informasi medis secara ringan dan mudah dipahami. Dengan menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dan teori resepsi Stuart Hall, penelitian ini melihat bagaimana penonton menerima pesan yang disampaikan, ada yang menerimanya sepenuhnya, menyaring sebagian, atau bahkan menolaknya. Hasil wawancara menunjukkan bahwa kepercayaan terhadap konten sangat dipengaruhi oleh pengalaman pribadi dan pemahaman masing-masing. Temuan ini menunjukkan pentingnya cara penyampaian informasi yang sesuai dengan kebutuhan dan sudut pandang audiens di media sosial

Abstract

Film "Miracle in Cell No. 7" menyajikan representasi mendalam tentang seorang ayah tunggal yang berjuang untuk melindungi dan membesarkan putrinya di tengah berbagai tantangan hidup yang berat. Karakter Dodo, yang diperankan dengan penuh emosi, menggambarkan kasih sayang dan pengorbanan yang tulus, menciptakan ikatan yang kuat dengan anaknya. Meskipun terjebak dalam situasi yang tidak adil dan menghadapi berbagai rintangan, Dodo menunjukkan ketahanan yang luar biasa, berusaha memberikan yang terbaik bagi putrinya. Film ini tidak hanya menyampaikan kisah emosional, tetapi juga mengangkat pesan moral yang kuat tentang cinta seorang ayah yang tidak mengenal batas. Melalui perjalanan Dodo, penonton diajak untuk merenungkan peran penting seorang ayah tunggal dalam keluarga dan tantangan yang mereka hadapi dalam menjalankan tanggung jawab tersebut. Dengan pendekatan analisis semiotika, film ini juga mencerminkan pandangan masyarakat terhadap peran ayah tunggal, serta bagaimana mereka dapat menjadi sumber inspirasi dan kekuatan bagi anak-anak mereka. Secara keseluruhan, "Miracle in Cell No. 7" menjadi sebuah refleksi yang menggugah tentang makna dan nilai dari seorang ayah tunggal dalam konteks sosial yang lebih luas

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini yaitu untuk mengetahui apakah terdapat pengaruh live streaming youtube @ybrap terhadap perubahan perilaku social pemuda lithang bakti pondok cabe. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian kuantitatif, dimana analisis datanya diproses menggunakan statistika dengan dibantu aplikasi pengolahan data yaitu SPSS 25. Populasi yang diambil dari penelitian ini merupakan pemuda yang berada pada umur 13 – 28 tahun yang berjumlah 50 pemuda. Metode pengumpulan data dalam penelitian ini yaitu metode kuesioner atau angket, observasi, wawancara dan dokumentasi. Analisis data menggunakan Uji Regresi Linier Sederhana. Hasil penelitian menunjukan Pengaruh Live Streaming YouTube @ybrap dari 50 responden yang berada dalam kategori jarang menonton yaitu 8 pemuda atau 16%, adapun dengan golongan kadang-kadang menonton live streaming youtube @ybrap yaitu 31 pemuda atau 62% dan dalam golongan sering menonton live streaming youtube @ybrap 11 pemuda atau 22%. Bahkan analisis perilaku sosial menunjukan perilaku sosial yang berada dalam kategori baik 11 pemuda atau 22%, 33 pemuda atau 66% menunjukkan perilaku sosial yang sedang, dan 6 pemuda atau 12% menunjukkan perilaku sosial yang kurang baik. Pengaruh Live Streaming YouTube @ybrap terhadap perilaku sosial pada penelitian ini menunjukan bahwa live streaming youtube @ybrap yang tinggi dapat mempengaruhi perubahan perilaku sosial siswa. Hal ini dilihat dari persamaan regresi linier sederhana yang menunjukan: Y = 85.081 + (-0.290). X. Adapun besar pengaruh live streaming youtube @ybrap terhadap perilaku sosial sebesar 24,6%. Uji hipotesis juga menunjukan bahwa terdapat pengaruh yang signifikan terhadap live streaming youtube @ybrap terhadap perilaku sosial pemuda Lithang Bakti Pondok Cabe

Abstract

This study investigates the effect of photographic image media on students’ poetry writing skills, aiming to determine whether visual-based learning can enhance creativity and writing performance. The research was conducted with 57 Grade VII students during the 2023/2024 academic year using a quasi-experimental design and a simple random sampling technique. The participants were divided into two groups: 30 students in the experimental class, who learned poetry writing through photographic image media, and 27 students in the control class, who received conventional instruction. Data were collected through pretests and posttests to measure students’ poetry writing skills. The results revealed that the experimental class achieved a higher average posttest score (73.17) compared to the control class (51.85). The improvement in the experimental group (57.35%) was considerably greater than in the control group (29.01%). Statistical analysis using a paired sample t-test indicated a significance value of 0.001, which is lower than the standard alpha level of 0.05. Therefore, the null hypothesis (H₀) was rejected, confirming that the use of photographic image media had a significant positive effect on students’ poetry writing skills. The findings suggest that photographic image media can be a powerful instructional tool for teaching poetry writing. By stimulating imagination and visual thinking, this medium helps students express emotions, select appropriate diction, and develop creative ideas more effectively. The study contributes to the field of language education by demonstrating the practical value of integrating visual learning aids to improve students’ engagement and achievement in poetry writing.
