Abstract

Penelitian ini mengenai ilmu retorika dalam pembelajaran bahasaIndonesia. Fokus pembahasan dalam penelitian ini melihat perbedaan guru yangmenguasai retorika dengan guru yang hanya sekadar menguasai ide/ konsep. Tujuanpenelitian mini ini untuk menjawab apa yang menyebabkan ada seorang guru yangdiidamkan siswa dan mengapa ada guru yang dirasa sangat membosankan, padahalsama-sama mendidik/ mengajar bahkan sama-sama membawakan pelajaran bahasaIndonesia. Data dalam penelitian ini diperoleh melalui wawancara. Data tersebutdianalisis dan diinterpretasikan dengan menggunakan konsep “Pengolahan ide yangbaik” menurut Triono (2005: 67) yakni a.sukses membuka, b. sukses membermasalah, c. sukses memberi solusi, dan d. sukses menutup. Lokasi penelitian di SMK.DR. Sjahrir Medan. Temuan berdasarkan hasil analisis data menunjukkan bahwaada pengaruh yang signifikan terhadap pembelajaran dan minat siswa ketika gurumenerapkan ilmu retorika dalam mengajar .

Abstract

Penerapan media Puzzle dapat menciptakan kreativitas, menyenangkan dan tidak membosankan, melatih anak berpikir logis, mengembangkan ide siswa, membantu anak untuk memahami suatu persoalan dengan mudah dan cepat. Puzzle adalah permainan yang terdiri dari potongan gambar-gambar, kotak-kotak, huruf-huruf atau angka-angka yang disusun seperti dalam sebuah permainan yang akhirnya membentuk kosa kata sehingga membuat peserta didik menjadi termotivasi untuk menyelesaikan Puzzle secara tepat dan cepat. Kemampuan memahami seseorang rendah  disebabkan ketidaktahuan terhadap kosa kata yang ada pada wacana. Penerapan media  Puzzle dapat digunakan sebagai dasar memahami wacana karena isi dari Puzzle merupakan dari kosa kata yang terdapat pada wacana .Oleh karena itu, meningkatkan kemampuan memahami wacana dapat melalui media  Puzzle Kata Kunci: Meningkatkan–memahami–Puzzle

Abstract

Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan jenis penelitian yang digunakan adalah Analisis Isi (Content Analysis). Penelitian kualitatif adalah penelitian yang menghasilkan data deskriptif berupa kata-kata atau kalimat yang dipaparkan secara deskriptif. Penelitian ini mendeskripsikan makna dari umpasa pada setiap penggunaan umpasa seperti perkawinan, mangadati, hatutubu (kelahiran), manulangi (menyuapi), mamasuki jabu (masuk rumah baru), Mangongkar Holi (Membongkat Tulang-Tulang Orang Meninggal) dan Tardidi (pembaptisan). Selain itu penelitian ini juga bertujuan untuk menganalisis makna simbolik pada sastra lisan umpasa pernikahan Batak Toba memiliki lima unsur nilai budaya Batak diantaranya, nilai hagabeon, nilai hamoraon, nilai religi, nilai kekerabatan, dan nilai hasangapon. Makna simbolik dan lima unsur nilai budaya batak dalam umpasa pernikahan Batak Toba telah mempengaruhi kehidupan masyarakat Batak Toba dalam menjalankan tradisi adat-istiadat. Sebab masyarakat Batak Toba percaya umpasa adalah doa, harapan dan cita-cita.

Abstract

This study aims to improve the quality of the use of learning media in the teaching and learning process of students. With this learning media, students are motivated and interested in exploring the learning taught by educators in the classroom. The researcher used an experimental researchtype by making a media and collecting data on the number of students in grade 1 SD Negeri 101744 Desa Klambir, as well as conducting tests, interviews and documentation to educators and school principals. The data used by the researcher is the research sample and the distribution of pre-test and post-test. taken from 23 students in class 1 A (experimrntal class) and 20 studens in class 1 B (control class), the result of the study resulted in the experimental class pre-test 480,5 and control class pre-test 416 from all students, then the results from research from research post-test experimental class 190,5 and post-test control class 169,5 of all students.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to describe the application of picture card media to the ability to write stories for elementary school students. This research was conducted in class V at the Bintaro Alam School. The strategies used are reading stories with pictures, arranging picture cards in sequence, and writing stories using picture cards. The results obtained through implementing this strategy are students' ability to write stories better. This can be proven that the ability to write stories using picture cards is said to be very good with a percentage of 90% of students able to write stories coherently. The presence of media helps students to write stories according to intrinsic elements.

Abstract

Motel. This study uses a qualitative approach and content analysis method. The data source in this study is the novel Heartbreak Motel by Ika Natassa. The data in this study are in the form of quotations containing discourse contexts including the context of the background (setting and scene), the context of participants (participants), the context of results (ends), the context of the mandate (act), the context of the method (key), the context of means (instruments), the context of norms (norms), and the context of types (genres) in the novel Heartbreak Motel by Ika Natassa. Data collection was obtained by reading, finding/marking, copying and grouping words included in the discourse context. The results of this study found 34 scenes containing eight elements of discourse context, namely the context of the background (setting and scene) as many as 41 data consisting of 17 time setting data and 24 place setting data, the context of participants (participants) as many as 22 participants, the context of results (ends) as many as 29 data, the context of the mandate (act) as many as 15 data, the context of the method (key) as many as 28 data, the context of the means (instrument) in the discourse is carried out verbally or directly as many as 28 data and using telephone media as many as 6 data, the context of norms (norms) in the discourse is carried out in two directions and three directions, and the context of the type (genre) in the discourse is included in fictional prose.

Abstract

Women's empowerment and environmental management are two important issues in sustainable development. Dharma Wanita Association (DWA) Probolinggo City responded to these two issues through creative training in making decorative flowers from used spunbond bags. This training aims to teach DWA members how to utilize spunbond bags, which often accumulate in households due to the policy to reduce the use of plastic bags, into economically valuable craft products. Apart from supporting policies to reduce plastic waste, this training also functions as a means of empowering women by increasing their skills and creativity in the field of handicrafts. The results of this activity are not only environmentally friendly decorative flower products, but also the potential for further development in the field of recycling-based crafts. This training opens up opportunities for participants to develop small businesses based on recycled products, as well as expand networks with other communities that support the waste management movement. In addition, the potential for this activity can be integrated with environmental education and adopted as a sustainable program to increase environmental awareness in society. With increasing awareness of the importance of protecting the environment, recycling-based training like this has bright prospects and can become a model for similar activities in the future. This activity not only provides economic and social benefits for DWA members, but also contributes to global efforts to reduce the negative impact of plastic waste on the environment.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the influence of communication ethics on the accuracy of Indonesian language use in digital writing by Generation Alpha. The phenomenon of increasing writing activity on social media and digital platforms by elementary and secondary school students indicates a decline in language accuracy, both in terms of spelling, sentence structure, and word choice. Through a quantitative approach with a survey method, 120 respondents from grades 5–8 were collected to fill out a questionnaire that measured aspects of digital communication ethics (politeness, responsibility, empathy, and ethical awareness) and their Indonesian language accuracy. The results of a linear regression analysis showed that communication ethics had a significant influence on language accuracy (R² = 0.48, p < 0.05). Politeness and responsibility were the dominant predictors that correlated positively with appropriate language use. These findings indicate the importance of integrating digital ethics and Indonesian language learning to foster good language awareness in cyberspace. This study recommends strengthening ethical digital literacy as part of the elementary and secondary education curriculum.

Abstract

The Village Fund Direct Cash Assistance (BLT) is a social protection program that aims to help the poor meet basic needs and reduce economic impacts, especially after the pandemic. However, the implementation of the Village Fund BLT in Sena Village, Batang Kuis District, Deli Serdang Regency, still faces various challenges, such as the validity of recipient data, transparency of distribution, and the effectiveness of assistance in improving community welfare. This study uses the CIPP (Context, Input, Process, Product) evaluation model to evaluate the extent to which the Village Fund BLT has achieved its goals. The research method used is qualitative descriptive, with data collection techniques through interviews, observations, and documentation. The results of the study show that BLT Village Funds are useful in the short term, but have not been able to improve community welfare sustainably. There are still obstacles in collecting recipient data, delays in disbursement, and a lack of assistance in the use of the assistance. Therefore, it is necessary to integrate BLT with economic empowerment programs, such as skills training and access to business capital, so that this program is not only consumptive but also contributes to sustainable village economic development.
