Abstract

This study aimed to: examine the effect of variable competence of teachers and social capital on the performance of the teacher in junior high organizational commitment mediated. The usefulness of this study to clarify and extend previous research on the influence of competence and social capital on the performance of teachers organizational commitment to mediation. This research is the research field. using a quantitative approach. The population in this study were all in junior high school teacher Pati, totaling 426 people. Samples were taken using the technique in a proportional number of Slovin 206 teachers. Techniques of data analysis starts from the test instrument, the classical assumption test, the test model, multiple linear regression analysis, hypothesis testing using t-test and test the mediating effect (path analysis). The results showed that: (1) the teachers competence has positive effect and significant on organizational commitment in the junior high school Pati, (2) Social capital has positive effect but not significant on organizational commitment in the junior high school Pati, (3) teacher competence has positive effect and significant on teachers performance in the the junior high school Pati, (4) Social capital has negative effect and no significant on teacher performance in the junior higj schools Pati, (5) organizational commitment has a positive effect and significant on teachers performance in the junior school Pati, (6) organizational commitment does not mediate of teacher competence on teacher performance in the junior high school Pati. The influence of teacher competence on teacher performance are more effective (direct), and (7) Organizational commitment school does not mediate of social capital on theacher performance in the junior high school Pati. Abstract

The Sokoguru Foundation is a non-governmental organization (NGO), with one of its activities which is a place for empowering the communities. After conducting an interview with the foundation managers and a survey of the member of the community, the results show that the ability to do entrepreneurship online is essential for the community. Therefore, the community services’ team provide training for the community about the use of social media, especially using Instagram to do digital marketing.This community service activity methodology uses a Participatory Rural Approach in the form of training and mentoring. The service is carried out in 3 stages: preparation, training and evaluation. Preparation is done by seeking information on material requirements for training. The training stage is carried out using an online system with Zoom Meeting (due to COVID-19 19 pandemic). Next, the training is filled with the presentation from the community service’s team, question and answer and sharing experiences.The result of the evaluation, this service activity adds new knowledge for participants (100%), usefulness (52.6%: very useful, 47.4%: useful). As well as increasing interest in online marketing by 73.7% from the previous 57%. Apart from scientific articles, the output of this activity is in the form of training modules, articles on the Kompas mass media, and video documentation on the YouTube channel.

Abstract

The Spatial-based information system is one of the systems that is needed nowadays, because it serves as a foundation in supporting variety of applications in various sectors, one of which is education. Serang as the capital of Banten province indubitably becomes a model reference for other districts and cities in the development of education. Providing information regarding education, especially schools, to the people is of major importance to enhance Serang education office activity in providing service. There has not been any spatial-based information about schools in the city of Serang yet, so it is necessary to have a geographic information system of school mapping. Geographic information system of school mapping in Serang was developed using the waterfall model and built using MapServer, PHP programming language, and MySQL database management system. The system provides information on the distribution of both public and private primary education (SD/MI), secondary education (SMP/MTs), and upper secondary and vocational education (SMA/MA/SMK) in the city in the form of digital maps, containing spatial data and attribute data, and also generates information about indicators of equality on learning opportunity and gross participation rate (APK) in the city of Serang.

Abstract

The Ministry of National Education has declared excellence scholarship program, one kind of these excellence scholarships is P3SWOT. P3SWOT is an excellence scholarship given to researcher, writer, creator, artist, journalist, athlete, and figure. As a holder of P3SWOT excellence scholarship, the Secretary of Excellence Scholarship, Bureau Planning and International Cooperation, the Ministry of National Education has been taking the advantage of the information technology by building a website that provides registration information, a registration form that can be downloaded by registrant, and the announcement of the scholarship winners. However, the website is not optimal because it is static. The selection mechanism of P3SWOT excellence scholarship still has some problems. Recently there are ineffective registration and unintegrated scholarship registration data. The online selection of P3SWOT excellence scholarship information system was developed to solve those problems. This information system was developed using Unified Process. Unified Process is an object oriented software development process that consists of five workflows. They are requirement, analysis, design, implementation, and test. This information system was built using PHP 5 programming language and MySQL 5 database management system. This information system can be used to handle the selection of P3SWOT excellence scholarship including registration, registration verification and scoring, deciding the winners, and reporting.
