Abstract

Permasalahan dalam menggambar menggunakan aplikasi AutoCad adalah mahalnya software yang aslidan harganya sulit dijangkau oleh sekolah/guru apalagi oleh siswa. Oleh karenanya menjadi salah satupenyebab kenapa di Pondok Pesantren guru-guru menggambar masih memiliki cara-cara manual yangharusnya sudah kita tinggalkan. Atas tuntutan jaman dan perkembangan Teknologi yang menuntut guruguru gambar untuk meningkatkan kompetensi khususnya dalam penggunaan aplikasi yang dibutuhkan.Metode pelaksanaan kegiatan pengabdian yang digunakan dalam bentuk pelatihan yang dilaksanakan diPondok Pesantren Al Furqon Driyorejo Gresik. Model pembelajaran adalah pembelajaran langsung dankelompok. Setiap chapter dirancang diskusi tanya jawab dan pemberian tugas kelompok/mandiri. Evaluasiakan dilakukan pada setiap hari pelatihan. Keberlanjutan akan dilakukan diskusi dan tanya jawab melaluiemail. Hasil dari kegiatan PKM ini, meliputi : (1) Peserta pelatihan yang sebelumnya ditargetkan hanya 10guru ternyata dalam pelaksanaannya menjadi 13 peserta; (2) Tersusunnya modul pembelajaranmenggambar menggunakan aplikasi AutoCad, setiap peserta (guru) mendapatkan buku modul AutoCad;(3) Peningkatan kompetensi guru dalam menggambar menggunakan AutoCad; (4) Peserta (guru) dapatmenggambar menggunakan aplikasi AutoCad; serta (5) Peningkatan kerja sama SMK di PondokPesantren Al Furqon dan Universitas Negeri Surabaya akan ditingkatkan dalam kegiatan yang lain.

Abstract

Pengabdian Kepada Masyarakat skema Kebijakan (PKM-K) Fakultas merupakan implementasi ilmu pengetahuan dan teknologi berdasarkan kekhasan fakultas. Kondisi SMK Negeri 1 Mojokerto dan sekitarnya terutama guru bidang studi statika struktur masih menggunakan metode konvensional, saat ini seharusnya sudah didampingi dengan metode komputerais, karena salah satu tuntutan kompetensi dari Du/Di bahwa skill lulusan SMK saat ini harus mampu menggunakan teknologi komputer yang aplikatif (misal SAP2000). Kegiatan pelatihan teori dan praktik SAP2000 dilakukan melalui penyampaian materi dan diskusi secara luring. Guideline pembelajaran SAP2000, serta praktik dan latihan terbimbing didampingi oleh Tim PKM. Dilakukan pretest dan posttest untuk mengukur pemahaman guru terhadap materi dan praktik. Kegiatan PKM terealisasi tanggal 15 Agustus 2022, di Laboratorium Komputer Desain Permodelan dan Informasi Bangunan SMK Negeri 1 Mojokerto. Hasil pretest dengan nilai KKM ≥75 sebesar 10.5% dan posttest 52.63%, menunjukkan terjadinya peningkatan pemahaman peserta terhadap materi SAP2000. Keterlaksanaan Pelatihan Perhitungan Struktur SAP2000 untuk menunjang mata pelajaran Statika yang dilakukan oleh guru MGMP Kota Mojokerto, telah tuntas dilaksanakan dengan dibuktikan oleh sebesar 100% peserta sebagai mitra telah mampu menjawab latihan soal mandiri dengan benar. Peserta mampu memodelkan struktur beton 3D bangunan 2 lantai hingga menganalisa gaya (Run Analysis) struktur 3D Model Bangunan Gedung tersebut dengan benar.

Abstract

The implementation of Building Information Modeling (BIM) technology in building construction projects is rapidly evolving, driven by the need for improved efficiency, accuracy, and collaboration in project management. This research aims to analyze the implementation of BIM in its 3D to 5D dimensions within construction at the Faculty of Vocational Management, Airlangga University Gresik. The research methodology employed in this study integrates two primary approaches: a literature review and the application of a Building Information Modeling (BIM) system using Autodesk Revit software. The application of Building Information Modeling (BIM) in construction projects, particularly in the Management Faculty Vocational Building Construction Project at Airlangga University in Gresik, demonstrates efficiency across various aspects. The utilization of BIM 4D and 5D, which combines 3D models from Autodesk Revit with Microsoft Project schedules into Autodesk Navisworks, facilitates realistic construction phase visualization and simulation, as well as direct project cost monitoring. The comparison results show a 6.86% efficiency in cost estimation between conventional methods and BIM methods, which aligns with previous research indicating the cost estimation efficiency of the BIM method. The discrepancy between planner drawings and budget estimates in conventional methods indicates that the BIM method can serve as a control to ensure alignment between drawing volumes and cost estimates. The findings of this study suggest that the integration of BIM technology effectively reduces design error risks and minimizes resource waste, positively impacting construction cost management.

Abstract

SMK PGRI 1 Ngawi menghadapi tantangan dalam peningkatan keterampilan siswa khususnya dalam pemanfaatan perangkat lunak di bidang desain konstruksi. Terbatasnya fasilitas serta kurangnya pelatihan penggunaan perangkat berbasis digital, merupakan tantangan dalam mempersiapkan lulusan menghadapi industri konstruksi modern. Melalui program Pengabdian kepada Masyarakat (PKM) berjudul “Pelatihan Desain Building Information Modelling (BIM) dengan Perangkat Lunak Autodesk Revit bagi Guru dan Siswa,” tim dosen Universitas Negeri Surabaya memberikan pelatihan intensif yang mencakup pembuatan gambar portal, pondasi, serta penulangannya. Metode pelaksanaan kegiatan ini menggunakan metode presentasi, demonstrasi, dan praktik langsung, pre-test, post-test, serta latihan mandiri berupa tugas desain sederhana untuk mengukur pemahaman peserta. Rata-rata nilai pre-test peserta adalah 64 dengan nilai tertinggi 68, sedangkan rata-rata nilai post-test meningkat menjadi 84 dengan nilai tertinggi mencapai 100. Hal ini menunjukkan bahwa adanya peningkatan pemahaman peserta setelah mengikuti pelatihan. Peserta memberikan umpan balik positif pada setiap indikator penilaian yang mencakup relevansi materi, kejelasan penyampaian, kesesuaian durasi pelaksanaan, kemanfaatan pelatihan, kemudahan mengikuti kegiatan, penambahan pengetahuan/keterampilan, dan kepuasan kegiatan secara keseluruhan. Hasil ringkasan menunjukkan bahwa PKM dinilai berhasil dan relevan dengan kebutuhan peserta. Kata kunci: Pelatihan, Desain Bangunan, Desain Struktur, BIM, Autodesk Revit

Abstract

Background: A higher education quality assurance system through accreditation activities is necessary as an indicator for measuring the quality of higher education institutions to ensure that the needs of students and the community are met in accordance with established quality standards. This study aims to determine the achievements of graduates against the gold standard of Surabaya State University (UNESA), determine the time required for graduates to find their first job, evaluate the relevance of the field of study to the graduates’ fields of work, and identify the scale of their workplaces. Methods: Tracer Study data were collected from Civil Engineering undergraduate alumni graduating between 2019 to 2022. Data were gathered in 2023 through questionnaires administered through the UNESA tracer study website. The responses were analysed using quantitative descriptive methods and presented in the form of percentage-based graphs. Results: The distribution of Tracer Study data shows that the highest gold standard achievement was recorded in 2021, with 75% of alumni meeting the indicators. Regarding waiting time, more than 40% of graduates obtain their first job within three months across all years. The relevance between the field of study and the field of work reached over 40% for the ‘Very Relevant’ category, while the majority of alumni were employed in national-scale companies. Conclusion: According to the Tracer Study data distribution analysis, Unesa's Gold Standard achievement reached 75%. Furthermore, the short waiting period for employment indicates the high level of graduate readiness for the workforce. The strong relevance between academic fields of study and professional fields of work, along with the dominance of employment in national-scale companies, indicates that the Civil Engineering Study Programme at Unesa is relevant to the needs of the labor market.

Abstract

Davao City, Philippines, is located in a high seismic zone along the Pacific Ring of Fire, where residential buildings are highly vulnerable to earthquake damage. This community service program aimed to improve earthquake risk awareness and understanding of simple earthquake-resistant housing concepts among students and teachers of Sekolah Indonesia Davao (SID). The program was conducted through preparatory coordination, educational implementation, and evaluation stages. Educational activities included pre-tests, distribution of booklets, lectures on basic structural principles of earthquake-resistant houses, video demonstrations, discussions, and post-tests. The results showed a significant improvement in participants’ understanding, with correct responses increasing from 36% in the pre-test to 82% in the post-test. Participant feedback also indicated high satisfaction with the relevance, clarity, and usefulness of the materials. The program demonstrates that school-based education can serve as an effective community-based earthquake mitigation strategy in high seismic regions.
