Abstract

The Impact of the Covid-19 Pandemic on the Income of Small and Medium Enterprises in North Banjarmasin District. This study aims to determine the effect of the COVID-19 pandemic on the number of visitor arrivals/buyers, the decline in income, and how the MSMEs of Warung Makan Cendana, North Banjarmasin District, deal with the impact—qualitative research methods with research instruments in the form of interviews and short questionnaires. The research population consisted of 35 MSME owners, and as many as 10 MSMEs were selected as samples using the Simple Random Sampling method. Data analysis used descriptive analysis and the Wilcoxon Signed Rank Test. The results showed that: 1) The COVID-19 pandemic significantly affected the number of visitors of MSME owners at the Cendana Restaurant. 2) The COVID-19 pandemic has significantly impacted the income of MSME owners at the Cendana Restaurant. 3) MSME owners overcome the impact of low income by reducing cooking ingredients, implementing a shift system so they can continue to operate, reducing the number of employees, and decreasing employee salaries.

Abstract

This study (1) aims to determine the effect of capital, price, and quantity of laundry on laundry business income in West Banjarmasin District, Banjarmasin City. (2) To determine the most dominant factor influencing laundry business income in West Banjarmasin District, Banjarmasin City. This study used 20 respondents who were laundry business owners in the West Banjarmsain District, Banjarmasin City. The data in this study were then processed using multiple linear regression analysis using Eviews 10 software. The results of this study indicate that together, the factors of capital, price, and quantity of laundry affect the income of the laundry business in the West Banjarmasin District, Banjarmasin City. The most dominant factor in influencing the income of the laundry business in West Banjarmasin District, Banjarmasin City, is the washing quantity factor.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the factors affecting fish traders' profits in the Kalindo Banjarmasin market. The research location is in the Kalindo Market Banjarmasin, with a population and sample of 31 traders. They are using quantitative descriptive analysis techniques. The data in this study were sourced from primary data from interviews and questionnaires. Variables consist of profit, working capital, working hours, labor, and types of merchandise. This study uses multiple linear regression analysis (OLS) with a significance level 0.05. The results of the study indicate that the factors of working capital, working hours, labor, and the type of merchandise together significantly affect the profits of Kalindo fish traders. Factors of operating money, working hours, and labor partially affect traders' profits. The influence of working capital factors, working hours, labor, and types of merchandise on fish traders' profit is 70%, and other factors explain 30%.

Abstract

This study has the following objectives: Knowing the impact of the Productive Presidential Assistance for Micro Enterprises (BPUM) program on MSMEs in Kuin Cerucuk Village, West Banjarmasin District, and Knowing the effectiveness of the Productive Presidential Assistance for Micro Enterprises (BPUM) funds in the sustainability of MSMEs in Indonesia. Kuin Cerucuk Village, West Banjarmasin District. In this research, the writer uses a quantitative method through a descriptive approach. The primary data was typetained using questionnaires, interviews, and observations—technical analysis using descriptive analysis. The results of this study explain that BPUM funds positively impact MSMEs in Kuin Cerucuk Village, West Banjarmasin District. Assistance funds are allocated for business continuity during the COVID-19 pandemic and are used to meet household needs.

Abstract

This research aims to know and explain the factors that influence the income of traders in Los Batu Market. The approach used in this research is descriptive quantitative. Total population: 307 people. This study took a sample of 38 people born using the Proportionate Stratified Random Sampling technique. Questionnaires and interviews were used for data collection techniques. The variables in this study are business capital (X1), education (X2), length of business (X3), working hours (X4), and traders' income (Y). Data analysis in this study used multiple linear regression (OLS), with a significance level of 5%. The results show that the variable that partially affects the income of Los Batu Market traders is venture capital (X1). In contrast, the variable level of education (X2), length of business (X3), and working hours (X4) do not significantly affect the income of market traders. Los Batu. Furthermore, the variables of business capital, education, length of business, and working hours greatly influence the income of Los Batu Market traders.

Abstract

This study aimed to determine the effect of population, unemployment, per capita expenditure, human development index, and economic growth on poverty levels in Banjar, Tapin, and Hulu Sungai Tengah districts. As secondary data, panel data from the Central Statistics Agency (BPS) of South Kalimantan Province is used in this quantitative descriptive analysis. The data analysis technique was used in the panel data regression method. In Banjar, Tapin, and Hulu Sungai Tengah districts, the poverty rate is influenced by population, open unemployment, underemployment, per capita expenditure, human development index, and economic growth. Population negatively and significantly affects poverty rates in Banjar, Tapin, and Hulu Sungai Tengah regencies. In contrast, open unemployment has a negative and insignificant impact, underemployment has a positive and significant impact, and expenditure per capita has a positive and significant impact. The human development index has a positive and considerable influence, and economic growth has a positive and insignificant effect.

Abstract

The performance of Micro, Small, and Medium-Sized Enterprises (MSMEs) in Indonesia is examined in this study in relation to a number of different influences. A quantitative examination of 255 MSMEs from various industries, geographies, and sizes is carried out, with an emphasis on the interplay of infrastructure, financial inclusion, innovation, and government policy. In order to investigate the direct and intermediary links between these important determinants and MSME performance, structural equation modeling was employed in the study. The results revealed a strong positive correlation between the variables, demonstrating the critical role that government policies, infrastructure, financial inclusion, and innovation play in fostering business success. Financial inclusion plays a mediating role, and mediation analysis clarifies the contextual elements influencing the connections that are seen. By providing practical insights for business leaders and policymakers to navigate and enhance the business environment, this research advances our understanding of the intricate dynamics inside Indonesia's MSME sector

Abstract

This study aims determine internal factors strengths and weaknesses in development of New Batakan Beach tourist attractions, external factors opportunities and threats in development of New Batakan Beach tourist attractions, the right development strategy for New Batakan Beach tourist attractions. Respondents amounted to 74 tourist and respondents who were considered experts amounted to 6 respondents. Using SWOT Analysis. The results showed the right development strategy for New Batakan Beach tourist attraction is S-O strategy, which means using strength to take advantage opportunities so that the development program can on target, namely: Improving and maintaining the beauty of natural scenery and fresh air makes tourists comfortable and strategic tourist locations so that they are easily accessible to tourists. Increased government support in development of tourist attractions such as the construction of camping places around the outskirts New Batakan Beach tourist attraction.

Abstract

This study aims to (1) determine which sectors are at the forefront of the economy and base sectors; and (2) to find out which economic sectors have the potential to become base sectors. This research uses Location Quotient (LQ), Dynamic Location Quotient (DLQ), Growth Ratio Model (MRP), Klassen Typology, and Overlay analysis techniques. Using GDP data on constant prices in 2010 according to business fields for 2018-2022. The results showed that the agriculture, forestry, and fisheries sectors, mining and quarrying sectors, large trade and retail sectors are the base sectors. The sector of mining and quarrying holds a prominent position in Tanah Laut Regency because it has a positive contribution and growth. Meanwhile, sectors that have the potential to become base sectors in the future are the manufacturing industry sector, electricity and gas procurement, construction, transportation and warehousing, financial and insurance services, corporate services, land government administration and compulsory social security.

Abstract

This study was conducted to determine the impact of GRDP, Labor Force, and Provincial Minimum Wage variables on Labor Absorption in South Kalimantan Province in 2010-2022. Time series data regression analysis was chosen as the method  and processed using Eviews 12 software.. The results of data processing show that the variables of GRDP, Labor Force, and Provincial Minimum Wage together have a significant effect on labor absorption in South Kalimantan Province. Meanwhile, Partially GRDP is detected to have a positive and insignificant effect on labor absorption in South Kalimantan Province, the Labor Force variable has a positive and significant effect on labor absorption in South Kalimantan Province. Then, the Minimum Wage variable has a negative and insignificant effect on labor absorption in South Kalimantan.
