Abstract

ABSTRACTThis research was conducted based on the fact indicating that the students’ understanding on mathematics concept was`stiil low, and the students had less concern on the teacher’s explanation. This research was aimed at revealing whether the use of Listening Team active learning strategy could give better effect on the students’ understanding on mathematics concept than that of the conventional learning in class XI IPS SMAN 2 Bayang. This was an exsperimental research which used random sampling technique. In this research class XI IPS.3 was`chosen as the experimental class, and class XI IPS.4 as the control one.the instrument of the research was a post-test. The test was in the form of essay whose r11 was 0,819. The data gotten was analyzed by using t-test assisted with MINITAB. Based on the result of hypothesis test, it was found that P-value (0,000) was smaller than α (0,05) indicating that the hypothesis was accepted. Thus, it was concluded that the use of Listening Team active learning strategy could improve the student’ understanding on mathematics concept better than that of the conventional learning in class XI IPS of SMAN 2 Bayang.

Abstract

Abstract. To increase and improve PISA rankings (Programme for International of Student Assessment) of Indonesian students not only starts from the students, but also teachers and prospective teachers. The purpose of this study was to determine the ability of students as prospective teachers to solve problems of high-level PISA (most difficult) is level 5. This study was a descriptive study using a qualitative approach to describe the ability of each student in solving PISA question. The subjects were students taking the Teaching Mathematics I course of Mathematics Education Program FKIP Unsyiah. Data analysis in qualitative research based on the results of the data collection process in the form of field notes, documentation, and interviews. Assessment conducted on students' ability to solve problems using the PISA assessment rubric. Furthermore, the score obtained is converted into the interval level of ability. The results showed only one student (14,28 %) of the seven students who have an excellent ability to resolve the matter appropriately. Meanwhile, three students (42,85 %) experienced only a mistake on the problems at the problem of the distance down. However, the ability of the three students vary based on the accuracy of the analysis in solving aspects. For the third ability of other students (42,85 %) were still low due to the settlement of questions that do not quite right with the ability to be at sufficient levels. Based on the results of this study are expected each faculty can use international issues as a matter of PISA in learning, so that students get used to solve the problems of non-routine to improve their ability to understand and solve problems, which can contribute to the future of teaching practice. Keywords: PISA, most difficult level, students as prospective teachers

Abstract

Salah satu meningkatkan prestasi belajar siswa adalah melalui pembelajaran Team Quiz. Team Quiz merupakan salah satu tipe model pembelajaran active learning. Dengan pendekatan atau pembelajaran Team Quizini siswa diharapkan aktif belajar, siswa mampu mampu bertanya maupun menjawab dan meningkatkan kemampuan tanggung jawab siswa terhadap apa yang mereka pelajari dengan cara menyenangkan dan tidak membosankan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui penerapan model pembelajaran team quizpada materi bilangan pecahan siswa SMP Negeri 14 Banda Aceh. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan sampel penelitian ini adalah 16 orang siswa, pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan menggunakan tes. Pengolahan data menggunakan rumus uji-t. hasil penelitian dengan taraf signifikan   =0,05 dan derajat kebebasan dk= 15 menunjukkan uji t=table yaitu t=1,7. Oleh karena itu, t hit> t tab  atau 4,14 > 1,17 maka hipotesis  Ho ditolak. Dari hasil penelitian ini dapat disimpulkan bahwa hasil belajar siswa SMP Negeri 14 Banda Aceh dengan menggunakan model team quiz sudah mencapai taraf berhasil.Kata kunci : Model Kooperatif, Team Quiz, Bilangan Pecahan

Abstract

Pedagogigal Content Knowledge (PCK) merupakan kombinasi dari dua unsur yaitu content knowledge dan pedagogical knowledge. Kedua unsur tersebut terkait dengan empat tuntutan kompetensi yang harus dimiliki guru dan dosen di Indonesia, dua diantaranya adalah kompetensi profesional dan pedagogik. Tujuan penulisan artikel ini adalah untuk memamparkan kajian tentang PCK sehingga diharapkan pendidik dapat memahami dan melakukan evaluasi terhadap PCK yang dimiliki.

Abstract

Penerapan dan pemahaman konsep sangatlah penting dalam matematika, oleh karena Itu dalam memberikan arahan penerapan dan pemahaman konsep siswa tidak diminta untuk menghafal, tetapi diarahakan untuk memahami, dengan pemahaman dan penerapan konsep tersebut, maka siswa lebih mudah menyelesaikan soal soal matematika. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui kesalahan pemahaman konsep materi bentuk aljabar pada siswa kelas VII SMP Negeri 14 Banda Aceh. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian kualitatif. Subjek pada penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas VII SMP Negeri 14 Banda Aceh. Teknik pengumpulan data pada penelitian ini adalah tes diagnostik, wawancara dan dokumentasi. Teknik analisis data menggunakan 1) pengumpulan data, 2) reduksi data, 3) penyajian data, 3) kesimpulan. Hasil penelitian ini, diperoleh kesalahan pemahaman konsep bentuk aljabar masih tinggi, hal ini dapat dilihat dari hasil tes siswa kelas VII SMP Negeri 14 Kota Banda Aceh. Hasil wawancara menunjukan bahwa penyebab utama kesalahan pemahaman konsep bentuk aljabar ialah adanya variabel yang berbeda, ini yang memicu kesalahan pemahaman konsep yang paling sering terjadi pada operasi bentuk aljabar. Siswa juga kewalahan dalam memahami soal dengan adanya variabel. Disaat guru sedang menjelaskan siswa kurang memahami dan siswa tidak bertanya terkait apa yang tidak dipahami. Sehingga dapat disimpulkan bahwa siswa kelas VII SMP Negeri 14 Banda Aceh masih mengalami kesalahan pemahaman konsep materi bentuk aljabar. Dengan mengetahui penyebebab terjadinya kesalahan pemahaman konsep yang sering terjadi pada bentuk aljabar, peneliti lebih mudah mengatasi dan memberikan solusi terhadap masalah yang sering dialami siswa dalam belajar matematika yang menyebabkan minat belajar siswa terhadap matematika berkuang dengan adanya kesalahan pemahaman konsep tersebut siswa menganggap bahwa matematika sulit.

Abstract

Berbagai macam produk kuliner kini mudah ditemukan baik secara online maupun offline. Kesadaran konsumen dalam memilih produk kuliner berlabel halal semakin tinggi, namun belum diimbangi dengan akses legalitas pelaku usaha untuk mendaftarkannya dan mendapatkan sertifikat halal bagi warga Desa Mekarmanik Kabupaten Bandung. Metode pelaksanaan kegiatan dengan menggunakan diskusi ORID, untuk memperoleh indentifikasi masalah dan pemecahan masalah yang dibutuhkan para pelaku usaha kuliner di Desa Mekarmanik. Hasil pengabdian masyarakat ini dimulai dengan pemberian pengetahuan dan pemahaman pada pelaku usaha tentang pentingnya legalitas halal pada produk kuliner yang yang dikemas dalam kegiatan seminar. Proses pendampingan pengajuan sertifikasi halal produk kuliner pelaku usaha di Desa Mekarmanik, dilakukan dengan melengkapi berbagai persayaratannya hingga diajukan secara online melalui aplikasi SIHALAL. Sertifikat halal diperoleh para pelaku usaha kuliner melalui proses pendampingan dari tim pengabdian masyarakat.

Abstract

Background: The widespread practice of usury with high interest rates targets various segments of society, including those in pesantren communities. To address the issues faced by individuals in the vicinity of pesantren, the formation of social solidarity for collective welfare is essential. Purpose: This study aims to examine the process of social character formation among members of the Pesantren Persis Ciganitri community, specifically through activities in the *Halaqoh Mingguan* (Halmi) program. Method: The research employs a qualitative descriptive method. Data were collected through observation, interviews, documentation study, and Focus Group Discussions (FGD). Result: The results of this study reveal that the process of social character formation occurs through learning activities conducted by teachers (ustad, ustadzah), as well as supervisors or officials from the Micro Waqf Bank Berkah Umat Ciganitri. Learning is carried out through lectures aimed at instilling social and religious values embedded in an oath. This oath, recited at each meeting, serves as a commitment from the members to improve their economy through halal (permissible) business practices and to enhance their children's education. Conclusion: The outcomes of this social character formation within the Halmi program include cooperation, social solidarity, respect for differences, and cultural assimilation—values that reflect the social character shaped through these Halmi activities.

Abstract

This study discusses gender and education. In the field of education, women have always been subordinated, because women are always considered inferior (weak) and men are superior (strong). In education, there is no reason to discriminate against each other between men and women. There are four things identified from this study (1) The context of access to women's education, (2) the form of access to women's education, (3) the patriarchal context of women's access to education, (4) the form of patriarchy and stereotypes in women's access to education. This research uses Marxist conflict theory which states that gender injustice is not due to biological factors, but because of oppression from superior to inferior. Data analysis in this study was carried out during the interview process. Interviews were conducted by researchers on 3 female students in grade 12. The method used in this study is a descriptive qualitative method to describe the results of the analysis in more depth. The conclusion in this study is that there is still a patriarchal system that parents teach their daughters, in order to submit to every speech or command of men.

Abstract

The media in its development has its own influence on people's point of view. Likewise, gender issues are also part of the media scheme itself. This article discusses gender issues, namely gender bias in the advertising media for the television show "Super Pell" using sociological analysis in it. This research uses qualitative research methodology with a qualitative descriptive approach. Qualitative research methodology that uses secondary data sources, in the form of a study of literature related to the problem or juduk in this article in the form of books, journal articles, and other data sources. The results of the research are gender equality and gender injustice or imbalance. Women can be able to do work outside the domestic, but because of the patriarchal culture are still placed as households.

Abstract

Based on several studies, most of the internet is used to access social media, for example Instagram which is used by Indonesian people. This will of course have positive and negative impacts, one of the positive impacts is that it makes it easier for people to communicate. Meanwhile, the negative impact is that it brings new problems, namely online-based crimes, one of which is cyber sexual harassment. Many individuals don't know what forms of cyber sexual harassment exist on Instagram. Therefore, researchers will describe the forms of cyber sexual harassment and the factors that cause cyber sexual harassment based on Erving Goffman's dramaturgical theory. The research method used is descriptive qualitative. The research results found 5 forms of cyber sexual harassment on Instagram, namely (1) spamming, (2) visual harassment, (3) verbal harassment, (4) doxing and (5) fake accounts. The factor causing cyber sexual harassment on Instagram social media is based on Erving Goffman's theory, namely, imperfect self-control in expressing oneself creates gaps in themselves to become victims of cyber sexual harassment
