Abstract

Hereditary is material that is difficult to understand. The material can not be observed with ordinary light microscope, so we need learning media that can provide an illustration of the relevant material to facilitate understanding learners. Many teachers using power point slide that just display pictures / photos and writings in learning, so the motivation of learners to learn the material of heredity is low. The purpose of this study is describing the theoritical feasibility of slide interactive media based power point of heredity in class xii senior high school which is gotten from research result of expert faculty of media, matter expert lecturers and teachers of Biology. This study refers to the ASSURE models. Results showed that slide interactive media based power point developed worthy use in learning by faculty experts and biology teacher with an average score of 3.48 overall worth is included in the category. Abstract

This study aims to unveil the charm behind the political campaign billboards for the 2024 Kendari Mayor candidate that use propaganda language through social semiotics analysis. The data used in this study are two billboards from candidates for Mayor in Kendari City in 2024 who have the highest electability survey results or candidates who are popular in the people of Kendari City. This study used a qualitative approach to analyze written text and visual text on billboards. The results showed that the two billboards analyzed had similarities in using propaganda language, such as logos, slogans, background colors, and the color of candidates' clothes. This research shows that the object of billboard participants is used to attract the attention of the audience and that the propaganda language in billboards moves through various elements such as logos, slogans, photo techniques, color composition, image arrangement, background color, and color of the candidate's clothing.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to describe and analyze the structure contained in the folklore of Bone Malei in the Butonese people. This research is a field research, using a qualitative descriptive method. The data used in this study are in the form of information and recordings obtained about the folklore of Bone Malei. The source of data in this research is the community or informants who know about the folklore of Bone Malei. Data collection techniques interview techniques. The data analysis technique uses the Folklore approach. The results showed that the study of the structure of Buton Bone Malei Folklore consisted of characters, main characters and additional characters. The main character is played by La Kilaponto and the additional characters are played by La Bolontio, Raja La Mulae and Wa Tampoidongi. In the following data, it is found that there is a plot underlying the formation of the study of the structure of the folklore of Buton Bone Malei, which is an advanced plot. As for the elements of the background, namely the setting of the place, namely, Buton, the Kingdom of Buton, Bone Tobungku, the beach and Labuan Tobelo. The time setting found is one day, the next day, a few moments later, a week later, and day after day, while the social setting is the heroism of the main character to quell crime.

Abstract

When students attempt to convert their thesis into a scientific article, they often face several challenges that require special attention. One of the main obstacles is the difference in writing style. A thesis generally employs a more informal and detailed writing style, while scientific articles demand a more formal and concise approach. Therefore, students need to make substantial revisions to their writing style to meet the standards of scientific publication. Additionally, structure also poses a challenge. Theses tend to have lengthy and sometimes overly detailed structures, whereas scientific articles typically follow a more streamlined and concise format. Students must reorganize their material to align with a structure commonly consisting of an introduction, literature review, methodology, results, discussion, and conclusion.
