Abstract

The purpose of this research is developing English learning media called INTENS (Interactive English) for advance learners. This media consist of some materials which is appropriate to be studied for all English advance learners. The research method used is Research and Development. This development used Borg and Gall theory which have several steps, those are; 1) Research and Information Collection, 2) Planning, 3) Develop Preliminary Form of Product, 4) Preliminary Field Testing, 5) Main Product Revision, 6) Main Field Testing 7) Final Product Revision 8) Dissemination and Implementation. The media validation result got 95 score it was in “very good” category, and the material validation got 92 score it was in “very good” category. Subject of this research was students of MA Al Bairuny Jombang. The students’s responses of try out result 85 was in “good category”. It can be concluded that INTENS (Interactive English) is feasible to be used as a learning media for English advance learners.

Abstract

Palaksanaan kegiatan pengabdian pada masyarakat ini dilakukan oleh timpelaksana di desa Mojokambang kecamatan Bandarkedungmulyo kabupaten Jombang. kegiatan pengabdian ini berupa seminar kewirausahaan untuk membantu para pelaku wirausaha (home industry) agar lebih bersemangat dalam menjalankan usaha rumahannya. Tujuan dari kegiatan ini membantu para wirausaha home industry mulai dari bagaimana cara pembuatan produk yang higienis, cara membuat label agar menarik minat pembeli serta cara pengemasan (packaging) produk tersebut.Metode yang digunakan dalam adalah workshop serta pelatihan dan pendampingan.Hasil dari kegiatan pengabdian ini sangat membantu para wirausaha di desa Mojokambang ini.

Abstract

Pada masa sekarang kreatifitas dan inovasi para pemuda sangat di harapkan demi kemajuan perekonomian Negara. Kegiatan pengabdian ini bertujuan untuk membantu para pemuda karang taruna dalam memanfaatkan limbah rumah tangga di lingkungan sekitar menjadi barang yang berguna dan mempunyai nilai jual. Kegiatan pengabdian ini adalah pelatihan daur ulang minyak jelantah menjadi lilin aromaterapi. Metode yang digunakan dalam kegiatan pengabdian ini berupa ceramah, diskusi serta pelatihan intensif. Hasil dari kegiatan pengabdian ini diharapkan memacu semnagt para pemuda dalam berkreatifitas dan berwirausaha.

Abstract

Businesses use the internet as a source of information and as a marketing and sales tool. Digital sales and marketing can also reach more potential consumers. The rapid phenomenon of digital information has become a place to shift a business from conventional sales and marketing to digital. However, not all business activists have been able to keep up with changes in the flow of digitalization. This also happens to MSME activists in Kudubanjar Village. The main objective of this PKM activity is to help MSME activists who do not understand the importance of digital sales and marketing and are able to brand their products. PKM activities were carried out in two stages, namely a workshop which was held on August 8, 2024 and mentoring which was carried out on August 12-15, 2024, August 19-22, 2024 and August 27, 2024. The results obtained are that MSME activists understand what branding and digital marketing are, can make logo designs, and can promote products through WhatsApp Bussines.

Abstract

This study investigates the effectiveness of VocabARy, a Web-based Augmented Reality (Web-AR) platform, in enhancing students’ English vocabulary mastery. The research employed a mixed-methods sequential explanatory design involving 26 eighth-grade students at SMP Negeri 3 Wonosalam Jombang. Quantitative data were collected through pre-test and post-test, while qualitative data were obtained from questionnaires, interviews, and observations. The findings revealed a significant improvement in students’ vocabulary mastery. The mean score increased from 26.61 in the pre-test to 80.73 in the post-test, with a standard deviation decrease from 9.52 to 7.58, indicating more consistent performance. The paired sample t-test showed a statistically significant difference (p < 0.01), confirming the effectiveness of the intervention. Furthermore, the N-Gain score reached 0.7454 (high category), demonstrating substantial learning improvement. Qualitative findings indicated that students perceived VocabARy as useful, easy to use, and motivating. The integration of Web-AR technology provides an interactive and engaging learning experience. Therefore, VocabARy is considered an effective and innovative tool for vocabulary learning in EFL contexts.

Abstract

Islamic Boarding Schools have an important role in the formation of Islamic leadership and in producing graduate students as faithful people, pious, have noble morals, and follow the teachings of the Prophet Muhammad SAW. Especially able to emulate and apply the leadership of the Prophet SAW which prioritizes leadership theory based on the values ​​of Shiddiq, Tabligh, Amanah, and Fathanah. This study aims to find out the learning strategies applied at the Kalaga Al-Kamal Islamic Boarding School Denanyar Jombang, the important role of boarding schools in forming students in Islamic leadership so that they can lead, direct, train, organize well to achieve the planned goals based on the values ​​of the Al-Quran and Sunnah, and analyze the factors, namely supporting and inhibiting factors that influence effective leadership at the Kalaga Al-Kamal Islamic Boarding School Denanyar Jombang. Data collection was carried out through observation, interviews, and documentation. The types and methods used are qualitative methods using data collection interviews, observations, and documentation. The results of this study indicated that the leadership of the Kalaga Al-Kamal Islamic Boarding School Denanyar Jombang and teachers in guiding and providing knowledge were very important for students on how to become competent, responsible, forward-looking students, inspire many people, always were trustworthy, honest, and humble.

Abstract

This research was motivated by the low learning outcomes of fifth-grade students at Public Elementary School 071052 Mondrali. Based on the analysis conducted, the teacher found that the low student performance was due to their lack of understanding of the material being taught, which resulted from the monotonous teaching method, namely, lecturing. This condition caused students to be less actively involved in the learning process. In addition, the teacher did not use teaching media that could engage students' interest, making the lessons less appealing. As an improvement effort, the researcher applied the Problem-Based Learning (PBL) model. The aim of this research was to determine whether the implementation of the PBL model can improve the social studies learning outcomes of fifth-grade students at Public Elementary School 071052 Mondrali. The method used in this study was a quantitative method with percentage formulas. The results show an increase in student learning outcomes in each cycle. In the pre-cycle, the initial data showed that only 9.09% or 1 student passed the learning process. However, in cycle 1, the percentage of students who passed increased to 27.3% or 3 students, and in cycle 2, it reached 100%, with all students successfully passing the social studies lesson on natural and man-made features in Indonesia.

Abstract

This research aimed to examine the effectiveness of the Elsa Speak application as a learning media to improve students’ English-speaking skills in the extra class at MA Al-Bairuny. The research used a quasi-experimental design with two groups: an experimental group taught using the AI-based Elsa Speak application, and a control group taught without the application. The research began with a pre-test to assess students’ speaking abilities. The average pre-test score of the experimental group was 57.33, while the control group had an average of 61.67. During the treatment, the experimental group practiced speaking using Elsa Speak, which offers features such as pronunciation analysis and instant feedback. The control group continued learning through traditional methods without the application. After the treatment, a post-test was conducted. The experimental group showed significant improvement with an average score of 70.00, increasing by 12.67 points. Meanwhile, the control group showed only slight progress, with an average post-test score of 62.33, an increase of just 0.67 points. The results indicate that Elsa Speak is effective in improving students’ pronunciation, fluency, and confidence. This research highlights the potential of AI-based technology to enhance the quality of English language education in the digital era.

Abstract

This study aims to (1) Determine the development of E-comic media on the subject of Aqidah Akhlaq for class X. (2) To determine the results of student learning on E-comic media on the subject of Aqidah Akhlak for class X. The method used in this study is the Research and Development (R&D) research method, which was developed using the ADDIE (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, Evaluation)  model. The resulting product is validated by media experts and material experts, to determine the feasibility of the learning media before being tested. The results of this study obtained a score of 92% in material validation and 91% in media validation, which means that this learning media is categorized as "very feasible" to be tested. Student learning outcomes are assessed using the assessment report result which produce a score of 90% anad student response result of 92% with the category "very interesting". Thus, the E-comic learning media in the subject of Aqidah Akhlak class X, is categorized as very feasible to be used in learning and students are very interested in using it
