Abstract

ABSTRACT The purpose of this study is designing electronic-based materials of reading comprehension skill for the second semester at the first grade students of senior high school. It can be categorized as the Research and Development (R&D) which adapted the model of Sadiman (1986). It was consisted of seven phases such as(1) need analysis, (2) formulating objective, (3) formulating the materials, (4) formulating validity measurement, (5) writing media sheets, (6) testing, and (7) revising. The subjects were the first grade students of MAN Malang I. The product was developed based on the students and teachers’ need which was obtained from distributed questionnaire and interview, and it showed that both students and teacher need an interactive English instructional media which is based on computer with the percentage (92.3%). Furthermore, based on the validation of some experts, it was known that the product was valid. Finally, the result product was electronic-based materials which was consisted the reading materials of the second semester of the first grade of senior high school such as narrative, descriptive, and news item texts. Each kind of text has its own evaluation which is in the form of multiple choices and true or false questions. KEYWORDS: Electronic-Based Materials, Reading Comprehension, Reading Material

Abstract

ABSTRACT The aim of this study is to develop grammar instruction videos for students at grade VIII. This study uses Research and Development research design on its application, specializing in ADDIE model. Data collection were done using questionnaire to 10 eight grade students from Madinatul Ulum Junior High School and interview was done to gather data from the teacher. Through this study it is found that there is quite high demand on creating a creative and new teaching aid for teaching-learning process. Researcher developed video as instructional media that involved Simple Present Tense, Simple Past Tense, Present Continuous Tense, There is-There are, and Modals Can-Will-Must-Should as the topic disscused. Based on the data obtained on develop phase, 4.57 was from the material expert, 4.44 score was from the media expert and a score of 4.44 was obtained on the implementation process. The scores prove that the product were in good quality and worth to use. KEYWORDS: Instructional Media, Grammar, Video ABSTRAK Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan video pembelajaran pada materi grammar untuk siswa kelas VIII. Penelitian ini menggunakan jenis penelitian dan pengembangan yang mengadaptasi model ADDIE. Pada tahap analisa kebutuhan, peneliti menggunakan angket yang disebarkan kepada 10 siswa kelas VIII, serta wawancara kepada pihak guru untuk memperoleh data terkait media yang digunakan sebelumnya. Berdasarkan data tersebut, perlu dikembangkan sebuah media pembelajaran yang dapat membantu proses pembelajaran selama masa pandemi. Topik yang dibahas meliputi beberapa materi diantaranya: Simple Present Tense, Simple Past Tense, Present Continuous Tense, There is-There are, and Modals Can-Will-Must-Should. Berdasarkan data hasil validasi, diperoleh angka 4.57 untuk penilaian dari aspek materi serta 4.44 untuk penilaian dari aspek media. Dan saat tahap implementasi, diperoleh skor 4.44 yang bermakna media pembelajaran ini layak untuk digunakan. KEYWORDS: Media Pembelajaran, Grammar, Video

Abstract

Abstract This study aims to investigate on students’ perspective on the use of TikTok Application as supplementary instructional media during pandemic session. 20 students of English Department Student at UNWAHA were voluntary to take part in this descriptive study. Employing questionnaire was carried out to obtain data related to their opinion. The researcher collects the data through questionnaire. Then, the researcher selects and identifies the data. After selecting the data, the researcher displays those data into good sentences. 3) After displaying data, the conclusion is drawn. This questionnaire is analyzed by using descriptive statistics The findings revealed that students at UNWAHA second-semester give positive attitudes towards introducing TikTok as video aids into EFL classroom teaching meanwhile using it as an English learning strategy out of class. Also, they stated that TikTok is expected to be used as instructional media in speaking class.

Abstract

In teaching and learning process, learning media is one of vital tool as technology facility in the education sector, create many new opportunities to enhance the learning experience of students at all levels of education, one of them is in High School education. Educating them is very interesting and very different, because it requires creativity and logical thinking skills and always follows the development of the digitalization era. Therefore, the researchers aim to design English learning media for class XI students in Senior High School that their needs. The purpose of the research is to designing an Android-based educational game media for English subjects in reading and writing skills in High School to help students make it easier to learn English and to find out how is appropriate the educational game media. The researchers used the Research and Development method which is adapted from the development of ADDIE. Namely of this learning media is Senior English Game (SEG). SEG is an application designed to help students enhance their interest in learning English especially on reading and writing skills. The result of this research indicate that 1) the results of the media expert score are 4.60. 2) The results of the material expert score 4.3. 3) The result of the field test score is 4.43. Based on the results above, the researchers concluded that the Senior English Game (SEG) media suitable to used in learning English.

Abstract

This research is aimed to design a learning media that called ERT Apps (E-Reading Text) for Senior High School, especially in reading skill material. This research discusses the media for learning reading skill based on Power Point Hyperlink as a media to support teaching and learning activities. This research uses Research & Development methods with ADDIE models which consist of five stages such as Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation. The subject of research are the eleventh grade students in MA Unggulan KH. A. Wahab Hasbullah Tambakberas Jombang. This researcher uses questionnaires and interviews as a way of collecting data to get a response from the product. The ERT Apps (E-Reading Text) product was validated by two experts, namely, media expert and material expert before being tested on students Based on the results of the validation, the score of this product by media experts is 3.11 and the score of material experts is 4.35. The implementation score is 4.46 The score is categorized as "Good". In conclusion of this research states that students are interested in learning English by using ERT Apps (E-Reading Text) as a learning media. Keywords: ERT Apps, Senior High School, Reading Skill.

Abstract

The ability of lecture to understand and teach with the technology greatly affects to the students' abilities in their learning process. By developing technology, it can improve the quality of education. Therefore, the researchers aimed to design the learning media for students in the first semester in University level. This research is designing learning media through Grammar Video to learn English Grammar in writing skills at the university levels. This research use Research and Development (R&D) method and through ADDIE (Analyze, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation) model. This learning media called as GraVid (Grammar Video). This learning media is a video designed to develop products in order to test feasibility as an alternative learning media that can help students understand English Grammar in writing skills. The research instrument is an interview with English lecture’s and also distribute questionnaire on the first semester, Biology class students of the faculty of education in KH. Abdul Wahab Hasbulloh University that contains of 15 students as a sample. The results of this study show that: (1) the results of the media expert score are 4. (2) The results of the material expert score are 3.36 (3) the results of the product test to the students are 4.08. Researcher concluded that English Grammar Video (GraVid) is suitable to use in Grammar learning process in the classroom. From these results, there suggestion that product is revised as suggested from the expert. . Keywords: Writing skill, Grammar Video, Learning Media.

Abstract

The aim of this study is to develop ‘Digital Maze Literacy’ in reading skills for students of MA Al – Muhajirin Peterongan. This product focused on analytical exposition text. The researcher chooses the ADDIE model in developing the product. This model consists of five steps. Those are: (1) analyze, (2) design, (3) development, (4) implementation, and (5) evaluation.on develop phase, validation sheet was used to evaluate the quality of Digital Maze Literacy Game. The result of media validation is 80,00 % . Moreover the result of material validation is 81,3% , other word is very good category. Also, The result of the students responses on implementation phase is 82,3%. Based on the instrument, it can be concluded that Digital Maze Literacy game application for second grade of students has good quality and can be applied in real class.

Abstract

Researchers aim to develop Interactive Magic Card as a medium that is suited to learning needs. There are 2 objectives in this study; 1) developing Interactive Magic Card as a learning medium; 2) find out the feasibility of the media. This research uses the Research and Development method which was adapted from Borg and Gall. This English learning media is an HTML5-based Flash Card application that was developed to help students in mastering vocabulary and improve their Speaking and Writing skills.The results of this study indicate that; 1) the results of the material expert validation are 89; 2) the results of media expert validation are 84; 3) main field test results are 91. Based on the results of the study, the researchers concluded that Interactive Magic Cardis suitable for use as a medium for learning English

Abstract

ABSTRACT: In this training, the use of Pop Up in learning was introduced along with its benefits to 45 participants in TPQ At-Taqwa Bedahlawak Jombang. The steps conducted in this activity covered, socialization, training, monitoring, and evaluation. In socialization the instructor explained the benefits of Pop Up and how to design it. After identifying the benefits, in training phase, the participant that was divided in to some group were also asked to construct the pop up. During constructing process, the whole participants were quite excited. Then, on monitoring and evaluation, it was found that there some positive impacts obtained after conducting this activity. The students were very enthusiast toward the instructional media, the teacher had additional instructional media, and the parents identified the benefits of Pop Up.

Abstract

Penanaman spiritual sejak dini ketika masih usia anak-anak sangat berpengaruh pada perkembangan moral dan spiritual nya pada saat sudah menjadi remaja/dewasa. Anak-anak di TPQ Syafiiyah diajarkan bagaimana cara melakukan sholat secara benar dan tepat sesuai tuntunan. Kegiatan pengabdian ini di fokuskan pada pendampingan anak-anak TPQ tentang gerakan dan bacaan sholat yang benar dengan metode Drilling. Tujuan dari kegiatan ini agar anak-anak benar-benar menguasai tata cara sholat yang benar dari segi gerakan dan bacaannya. Hasil dari kegiatan ini di dapatkan dengan menggunakan metode Drilling anak-anak menjadi lebih mudah menerima materi dan mempraktekkan nya langsung dihadapan para ustadzahnya untuk dikoreksi kesalahan-kesalahannya.
