Abstract

The physical comfort of a place of worship directly correlates with the reverence and tranquility of the congregation during worship activities. This community service project aims to make minor improvements to the prayer room (mushalla) on the campus of Universitas 45 Mataram. The method used to realize this community service activity is an active participation method with a descriptive approach. The implementation procedure includes the formation of a community service team, permitting, and implementing the service, which involves renovating the place of worship, or mushalla. The renovation of the mushalla as a form of community service begins with the formation of the team, obtaining permits, and implementing the service. The team consists of lecturers, educational staff, and students participating in the Community Service Program (KKN). The mushalla renovation is part of the KKN student program. Funding for the renovation comes from donors and volunteers within the team, not from the campus budget. The renovations include repairs to the roof, ceiling, doors, windows, and painting. The activity concludes with a cleanup and the installation of a signboard for the mushalla. The academic community, especially students, were very enthusiastic and moved by the renovation of the place of worship. This commitment was ultimately realized through self-funding, and the mushalla appears more comfortable for use as a place of worship.

Abstract

Aplikasi android GeoTracker merupakan penerapan aplikasi ponsel rekam jejak yang terintegrasi dengan sistem satelit navigasi dan penentuan posisi. Tujuan pendampingan ini untuk mengimplementasikan GeoTracker dalam bernavigasi otomatis pada penangkapan gurita (Octopus cyanea). Metode yang digunakan meliputi demonstrasi, tanya jawab dan praktik langsung penerapan penginderaan jauh dalam bernavigasi otomatis. Metode ini didukung penuh dalam perikanan gurita berkelanjutan Mola-mola (monitoring berkala menggunakan pola masyarakat) yang di inisiasi Yayasan Juang Laut Lestari (Jari). Hasil pendampingan berjalan dengan baik dan lancar, nelayan pelita harapan sangat antusias dalam menyimak materi, suasana keakraban tetap terjaga selama penyampaian materi berlangsung. Faktor yang mempengaruhi keberhasilan ini antara lain peserta belum pernah mendapat informasi tentang GeoTracker. Pemateri menempatkan dirinya sebagai bagian dari kelompok Pelita Harapan, sehingga nelayan menjadi terbuka dalam menyampaikan permasalahan dan pandangannya. Kesimpulan: 1). Implementasi navigasi otomatis menggunakan GeoTracker begitu mumpuni untuk operasi penangkapan gurita. 2). Peserta dapat mengoperasikan GeoTracker dengan baik, dan dapat diaplikasikan dalam kegiatan penangkapan gurita di lapangan.

Abstract

This study aims to explore fishermen's perceptions of destructive fishing practices in the coastal area of ​​Sape, Bima Regency. The method used was a descriptive approach using a five-point Likert scale questionnaire. Data were analyzed using a manual thematic technique based on NVivo principles, which grouped statements into five categories: ecological impacts, socio-economic impacts, legal knowledge, attitudes toward the environment, and perceptions of the government's role. The analysis results indicate that fishermen have a high awareness of the ecological and socio-economic impacts of destructive fishing. They also demonstrated a positive attitude toward environmental conservation and law enforcement, although perceptions of government assertiveness remained low. These findings provide important insights for formulating policies for community-based fisheries resource management
