Abstract

Waduk Batujai yang terletak di Kabupaten Lombok Tengah merupakan penampung dari beberapa aliran sungai di wilayah tersebut. Hal ini menjadikan Waduk Batujai menjadi tempat akumulasi berbagai bentuk bahan pencemar yang terbawa oleh sungai-sungai inletnya. Pengambilan contoh makroinvertebrata dilakukan dengan menggunakan jala atau jaring dengan ukuran bukaan 30x30 cm2. Selain itu, beberapa parameter fisik dan kimia lingkungan juga diamati seperti suhu, kecerahan, salinitas, dan pH. Analisis data dilakukan untuk mengetahui tingkat kelimpahan, keanekaragaman, dominansi, dan indeks penting biotik. Data hasil analisis diperoleh suatu bentuk kuantifikasi kondisi perairan yang selanjutnya diuraikan secara deskriptif. Makroinvertebrata yang telah teridentifikasi dari hasil sampling dalam penelitian ini sebanyak 495 individu dari 19 spesies dalam 10 famili berbeda. Spesies yang memiliki kelimpahan tertinggi yaitu Anisops breddini. Keberadaan makroinvertebrata yang ada di Waduk Batujai memperlihatkan nilai Family Biotic Index (FBI) sebesar 4,73. Nilai tersebut berada di kisaran 4,26-5,00 dengan kategori kualitas air yang “Baik”. Analisis SIGNAL 2 untuk makroinvertebrata Waduk Batujai menunjukkan nilai sebesar 5,73 yang mengkategorikan Waduk Batujai sebagai habitat yang baik.

Abstract

Serewe Bay is an important area for sustainable fisheries. This information on benthic habitats is important to know for sustainable management. However, at the moment there is no information on the distribution of benthic habitats in Serewe Bay. The research utilizes Sentinel 2A satellite imagery where the image used is obtained through the earthexplorer.usgs.gov website. Image data will be analyzed through several correction analysis processes, namely reflectance correction, sunglint, and water column or Lyzenga in order to obtain an image display that can be used to identify benthic habitats in Serewe Bay. In addition, a field data survey was also carried out to test the accuracy of the results of processing the Sentinel 2A satellite image of Serewe Bay. Image processing results show that there are 3 categories of benthic habitats, namely Seagrass, Sand and Mixed habitats in which there are macroalgae, dead coral, and coral fractures. The results of the field survey and accuracy calculations show that the accuracy of sentinel 2A image processing in Serewe Bay reaches 63.41% with the dominant benthic distribution consisting of seagrass, mixed benthic habitat and sand. Meanwhile, the calculation of the area of important benthic habitats such as seagrass beds in Serewe Bay can reach 156 Ha.

Abstract

Rinjani National Park is located at Lombok Island West Nusa Tenggara. Biogeographically Lombok Island is a part of the Lesser Sunda archipelago which included to the Wallacean subregion that have large biodiversity, one of them is amphibian. These study objectives are to contribute and consolide information about species description, distribution and habitat. The data was conducted using Visual Encounter Survey (VES) method. The amphibian of Rinjani National Park consist of nine species belonging to five families (two Bufonidae, four Dicroglossidae, one Microhylidae, one Ranidae, and one Rhacoporidae). Five species were aquatic (L. dammermani, L. kadarsani, F. cancrivora, F. limnocharis and H. florensis), four species were semi aquaticn(D. melanostictus, I. biporcatus, O. monticola, and P. leucomystax).

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of giving fish liver oil to feed on the growth of koi ornamental fish seeds with different doses. The method used in this study is an experimental method using a completely randomized design. As for the treatment in M1 = without fish liver oil, M2 = with a dose of one tablespoon, M3 = with a dose of two tablespoons. Each treatment was repeated 3 (three) times to obtain 9 (nine) experimental plots. The feed dose given is 20%/BB/day. The amount of feed given during the study was 20.10 kg with a total of nine plots, all plots were given the same feed dose the only difference was the amount of fish liver oil mixture given. The highest average percentage of growth in weight of koi fish seeds was obtained in treatment M2, namely 1 tablespoon/day with an average value of 51.6% and the lowest was obtained in the treatment without fish liver oil (M1) with an average value of 15.3%. The results of the analysis of variance (ANASRA) showed a very significant difference where F count > F table 1% (48.4 > 10.92). Based on further tests using the least significant difference test (LSD) showed that the M1 and M2 treatments were highly significant (30.0> BNT = 14.46), the M1 and M3 treatments were not significantly different (6.30 <BNT = 14.46) , the treatment of M2 and M3 was very significantly different (36.3>BNT=14.46).

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to find out how to identify KHV (koi herpes virus) in koi fish (cyprinus carpio) using the Polymerase Chain Reaction (PCR) method. This research is a survey research, namely identifying KHV in koi fish (Cyprinus carpio) using the PCR method. The results of this study indicated that the sample was declared negative for KHV if the band that appeared was parallel to 640 bp (internal DNA from the sample based on the manual kits and primer used), then the sample was free from HPI/HPIK KHV virus group. Whereas for samples that tested positive for KHV, the bands that appeared were parallel to 229 bp and 440 bp (the KHV Virus DNA composition used was based on the kits used). So the KHV found in infected Koi fish has DNA of 229 bp and/or 440 bp. This shows that the samples examined were positively infected with the KHV virus

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the number of catches obtained when caught during the day and caught at night, to determine the most effective composition of catches during the day and at night from the Mini Purse Seine Fishing Gear. This research was conducted in Pondok Prasi Environment, Ampenan District, Mataram City for 1 (month) starting from October 1 to November 1, 2013. The method used in this research is the Experimental Method, namely conducting experiments to see a result that leads to affirmation of the position cause and effect between the variables to be observed. Based on statistical analysis using the Ttest test at the 5% level (0.05) it can be seen that the total weight of the catch (kg) in treatment X1 (during the day) and treatment X2 (at night) showed a significant difference, where Thit (2, 93) > Ttab (2.048) this means fishing using a mini purse seine fishing gear which is operated during the day and at night gives different catches but has no effect on the type of fish caught

Abstract

The aim of this research is to determine the most effective and efficient feeding frequency so that it can influence the growth of Sangkuriang catfish fry. This type of research is experimental research using analysis of variance (ANASRA). This research was carried out at the Batu Kumbung Fish Seed Center (BBI), Lingsar District, West Lombok Regency. The results of analysis of variance regarding the effect of feeding silk worms with different feeding frequencies on the growth of Sangkuriang catfish seeds showed very significantly different results where F count > F table 1% (26 > 8.02). Further test results using the least significant difference test (BNT) showed that there was a significant difference between P1 and P2 (0.072 > BNT 0.0715), significantly different between treatments P1 and P3 (0.161 < BNT 0.0715) and significantly different between P2 and P3 (0.089 > BNT 0.0715)

Abstract

Penyuluhan manajemen beternak sapi potong memiliki peran penting dalam meningkatkan produktivitas dan kesejahteraan peternak. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengevaluasi efektivitas penyuluhan manajemen beternak sapi potong yang dilakukan di Kelompok Ternak Tunas Maju, Desa Setanggor, Kecamatan Praya Barat, Kabupaten Lombok Tengah. Metodologi yang digunakan meliputi survei, wawancara, dan observasi langsung terhadap anggota kelompok ternak. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penyuluhan yang diberikan berhasil meningkatkan pengetahuan dan keterampilan peternak dalam aspek manajemen pakan, kesehatan ternak, dan reproduksi. Peternak yang mengikuti penyuluhan secara aktif menunjukkan peningkatan signifikan dalam praktik beternak yang lebih efisien dan berkelanjutan. Selain itu, hasil evaluasi juga mengungkapkan bahwa penyuluhan membantu mengatasi beberapa masalah yang dihadapi peternak, seperti kekurangan pakan dan penyakit ternak. Kesimpulannya, penyuluhan manajemen beternak sapi potong di Kelompok Ternak Tunas Maju telah memberikan dampak positif terhadap peningkatan produktivitas dan kesejahteraan peternak. Rekomendasi untuk penyuluhan selanjutnya adalah peningkatan frekuensi dan variasi materi penyuluhan, serta pengembangan program pelatihan yang lebih komprehensif untuk menjawab kebutuhan spesifik peternak di wilayah tersebut.

Abstract

One of the factors that affect egg quality is the rearing system. The purpose of this study was to determine the quality of fresh local duck eggs obtained from members of the Karya Mandiri Duck Farmers Group. Egg collection was carried out in turns for 5 days from 5 farmers who had ducks in the egg-laying phase. Each farmer was randomly taken 10% of the total egg production, so that 105 eggs were collected. The external and internal quality of the sample eggs were then measured at the Animal Product Processing Technology Laboratory, Faculty of Animal Husbandry, University of Mataram. The results of the study found that the internal quality of the fresh duck eggs observed was classified as very good, but the external quality of 50% was classified as low. The local duck eggs from Lombok, produced by the Karya Mandiri Duck Farmers Group, are mostly of high quality, with 50% classified as grade AA. It is recommended to improve the housing system to further enhance quality.
