Abstract

Status pemanfaatan gullung yaitu fully exploited(90,09%). Keberlanjutan pengelolaan minabisnis gullung di Teluk Saleh berbasis dimensiteknologi (36,13%) dan ekonomi (49,64%) berstatus “Kurang Berkelanjutan”. Atribut-atributpendapatan nelayan, R/C, dan TI indikator para pihak telah mengelola minabisnis gullung secaraberkelanjutan di Teluk Saleh berbasis pendekatan ekonomi (sektoral, regional, komunal).Kata Kunci: Atraktor, Minabisnis, Gullung, Rente

Abstract

The status of the condition of Indonesia's coral reefs is mostly categorized as moderate and damaged. Relatively inexpensive and easy-to-implement rehabilitation methods need to involve the participation of many stakeholders. The method of transplanting coral fragments by hanging (floating) from the surface of the water will be more efficient, especially in their maintenance. This study aims to investigate the most suitable water depth to support the growth and survival of the transplanted coral fragments. A non-factorial Completely Randomized Design (CRD) field experiment with 3 (three) treatments, namely different seedbed depths, 2 m, 4 m, and 6 m respectively. Each treatment was repeated 4 (four) times. The results of analysis of variance showed that the absolute growth rate of coral fragments transplanted by hanging from the surface of the water at different depths (2 m, 4 m, 6 m) showed no significant difference (P-value > 0.05). This shows that the environmental conditions at a depth of 2 m-6 m are relatively the same, so that on average all coral fragments have almost the same growth potential (0.29 cm/month). Meanwhile, the survival rate obtained is also very high (> 90%). These results confirm that the method of transplanting corals by hanging from the sea surface is technically feasible and gives good results. This will help many stakeholders to be involved in optimizing the economic potential value of coral reefs, as well as increasing participation in the conservation and rehabilitation of coral reefs.

Abstract

Bottom fish (Demersal fish) are fish whose habitat lives in coral and at the bottom of rocky waters, staying silent in holes to wait for prey. The distribution and abundance of bottom fish is strongly influenced by the environmental conditions of the waters as well as the oceanography. Potential fishing areas are waters where there are many fish in schools and it is possible to catch them with certain fishing gear. Bottom long line fishing gear is a fishing gear made of a set of long lines (line fishing) intended to catch various types of bottom (domersal) fish and so on in large sizes and quantities. one type of basic fishing gear that is quite productive. This study aims to determine the size of the most productive hook (hook) and to determine the types of bottom fish caught using bottom long line fishing gear.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effects of stocking density on the growth, survival rate, and the business of feasibility of the white shrimp culture using BFT in cylinder pond. The research method used was an experimental method, with a non-factorial completely randomized design (CRD). Each treatment (5000, 7500, and 10000 shrimp/pond) was repeated 3 (three) times. The observations showed that the growth of absolute weight and length of the 5000 shrimp/pondtreatment gave the best results, 8.82 g (0.13 g / day) and 8.81 cm (0.126 cm / day). However, the analysis of variance indicate that the stocking density of L.vannamei in the range of 5,000 to 10,000 has no significant effect on differences in growth, both weight or length. Stocking density of L.vannamei was detected to give a significant on survival rate. One-way analysis of variance and the Least Significant Difference (LSD) test showed that the stocking density of 5,000 was significantly in their survival on the 7,500 and 10,000 shrimp/pond. Meanwhile, the 7,500 shrimp/pond was not significantly to the 10,000 shrimp/pond. Economically, the stocking difference is a direct consequence of costs and revenues. The results of the business feasibility analysis inform that the three treatments are included in the feasible category for development, and the stocking density of 5000 shrimp/pond provides the best profit

Abstract

Ornamental fish are a fishery commodity that has high economic value because of their attractive pattern, shape and color, especially freshwater ornamental fish. Betta fish (Betta sp.) is a type of ornamental fish that is very popular among Indonesian people, from children to adults because it does not require difficult care. One of the main attractions of betta fish is their unique fin shape and color pattern. This research aims to describe the effect of the color of the container on the brightness of the color of Betta fish (Betta sp.). This research is a type of experimental research that uses a Completely Randomized Design (CRD). Data collection uses observation and documentation techniques. This research used 4 different container treatments, namely: A: clear container, B: black container, C: blue container, and D: red container. Primary data collected included: (1) Changes in the brightness of the color of the betta fish, (2). Fish survival rate, and (3) Water quality parameters (temperature, pH, DO, ammonia). The observation results showed that treatment C (blue container) gave the highest increase in color brightness for betta fish, namely 2.25. Meanwhile, the lowest brightness value was found in treatment A (clear) = 0.75. However, the results of the Anova test showed that the use of different container colors did not have a real effect on increasing the brightness of the color of the betta fish
