Abstract

The number of incidence and mortality of patients with traumatic brain injury (TBI) is high, so it is called for better service, on the other hand healthcare care facilities, particularly bed of intensive care unit (ICU) limited. So often the hospital should perform a selection against patients. Mortality predictors can be used as tool for selection. The aims of this research is to gain a predictive model of mortality in isolativeTBI patients using a standardized examination in Emergency Department. Design of this study is a observational study with prospective approach. Respondents totaled 49 person byconsecutive sampling.The results of this research show that there is a correlation between all the independence variables with mortality of the patient.GCS (p<0,001, r=0,732), TDS (p=0,005, r=0,420), MAP (p=0,005, r=0,429), Hb (p=0,048, r=0,272). The result of logistic regression showed that GCS is the most dominant factor related to patient mortality is GCS (p=0,002, correlation coefisient = - 0,906). Keywords : Traumatic brain injury, mortality predictor, GCS, components of GCS

Abstract

The biogas production from anaerobic digestion is a potential fuel for power generators application, if biogas can be upgraded to the same standards as fossil natural gas by CO2, H2S, and other non-combustible component removal. Microalgae Chlamydomonas sp. has potency to biofix the carbon dioxide and can be used as an additional food ingredient. The variations of flow rate and carbon dioxide concentration in the process resulting different value of biomass production and carbon dioxide biofixation. Biomass production at 40% carbon dioxide concentration obtained 5.685 gr/dm3 at 10% carbon dioxide concentration obtained 4.892 gr/dm3. The greatest value of carbon dioxide absorption occurs at a 40% concentration amounting to 12.09%. The rate of growth and productivity of microalgae tend to rise in 10% and 20% (%v) carbon dioxide concentration, but began started a constant at 30% and 40% (%v) carbon dioxide concentration. Biomass production tends to increase in light conditions while a constant in dark conditions. This study used Chlamydomonas sp. as media culture and performed on bubble column and tubular reactor with 6 litres of culture medium at a temperature of 28oC and atmospheric pressure.

Abstract

Pengembangan media pembelajaran yang berkualitas dan inovatif serta aplikatif menjadi tuntutan pada era modern ini. Oleh karena itu pendidik diharapkan mempunyai kemampuan untuk memanfaatkan teknologi modern sebagai media untuk membantu proses belajar mengajar dan meningkatkan kualitas pembelajaran. Penelitian ini bertujuan menghasilkan produk media pembelajaran video animasi dua dimensi. Subjek penelitian ini adalah kelas X IPS 2 SMAN 1 Tapen dengan jumlah 26 peserta didik. Penelitian dilakukan pada bulan Januari-Februari 2018. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan produk media pembelajaran tervalidasi dan dalam kategori menarik. Secara klasikal hasil validasi ahli isi bidang studi sebesar 80%, validasi ahli media dan desain pembelajaran sebesar 78%. Tingkat daya tarik pada penelitian ini sebesar 84% pada uji coba kelompok kecil, dan 87% pada uji kelompok besar. Kesimpulan penelitian ini bahwa media pembelajaran video animasi dua dimensi tervalidasi ahli dan menarik. Kata kunci: Media Pembelajaran, Video Animasi Dua Dimensi, Validasi Ahli, Daya Tarik.

Abstract

Desa Gumawang merupakan daerah yang subur dengan masyarakt memiliki aktifitas ekonomi utama dari bertani sayur dan buah, namun demikian memiliki keterbatasan dalam pengetahuan dan keterampilan menggunakan aplikasi smartfarming dalam budidaya. Upaya mengenalkan budidaya sayur dan buah yang terintegrasi aplikasi IOS-A. Tim PKM dengan bermitra kelompok tani Maju Makmur berupaya melakukan perencanaan, sosialisasi dan pelatihan-pedampingan penerapan teknologi, dan evaluasi kegiatan serta tindak lanjut program. Hasil pelatihan pendampingan menunjukkan masyarakat memperoleh pengetahuan dan ketrampilan tentang budidaya buah dan sayur yang terintegrasi dengan IOS-A, anggota kelompok tani Maju Makmur mampu menerapkan aplikasi IOS-A untuk mengontrol agroklimat dalam budidaya buah dan sayur, hasil penerapan Aplikasi IOS-A pada budidaya tanaman melon, sawi, maupun kacang panjang meningkatkan kapasitas dan kualitas tanaman buah dan sayur yang diproduksi masyarakat sasaran.

Abstract

The aim of this research is to understand the process of using the Problem Based Learning paradigm used by teachers in class IV science learning at SDN Pandeanlamper 04 Semarang. The method used by researchers is a qualitative descriptive method. The data collection method in this research uses observations and documented sheets. Students in class IV were divided into two groups: nine girls and sixteen boys. Based on the research results, the Problem Based Learning Model for class IV science and science lessons used at SDN Pandeanlamper 04 Semarang has been proven to be effective in learning science and can complete the five phases in PBL syntax. Researchers have accommodated that it can be concluded that students have been involved in problem solving and are able to learn using a problem-based learning model well.

Abstract

The research aims to determine the role of Madrasah Principal in developing teachers' abilities. This research is important to carry out in order to get an overview of its role in developing teachers' abilities. The method used in this study is quantitative descriptive.  The subject of the study is the Principal of MIN 4 Banda Aceh. Collection techniques through interviews, questionnaires, observations and documentation. The data analysis technique uses percentages.  The results of the study show that the function of the Madrasah Principal as an educator creates a conducive school climate, enlightens school residents, provides encouragement to education personnel, as a manager is able to face various problems in school, thinks analytically, conceptually, and always tries to be a mediator in solving various problems. As an administrator, he is closely related to various administrative management activities that are record-keeping and documenting of all school programs. As a supervisor,  supervise the work carried out by education staff. As a leader, he provides guidance and supervision, and is able to build two-way communication in carrying out various tasks. Thus, it can be concluded that the role of the Madrasah Principal can develop teacher competence in improving the quality of learning.
