Abstract

Abstract This study looks at how rhythmic gymnastics practices may help young children (ages 4-5) develop their gross motor abilities. Evidence from previous studies shows that the formative years of a child's early years are crucial for the maturation of their gross motor skills, which include the use of their limbs and other major muscles. 17 students from TK Islam Al Bayan Tangerang participated as the subject research in this study, which followed a CAR methodology with two cycles of planning, doing, observing, and reflecting. A quantitative analysis was performed on data that had been gathered via observation, interviews, and documentation. According to the study's findings, 41% of the kids' gross motor abilities were in the "Starting to Develop" stage prior to the intervention. Cycle II saw a substantial rise to 82% in the "Developing Very Well" category, after a 60% gain in the "Developing as Expected" category after cycle I. Rhythmic gymnastics programs are great for helping preschoolers develop their gross motor abilities. According to these studies, rhythmic gymnastics is a great way for kids to improve their gross motor abilities.   Keywords: Early-Childhood; Gross Motor Skill, Rhythmic Gymnastics; CAR Abstrak Penelitian ini dilakukan untuk mengimplementasikan senam ritmik terhadap peningkatan perkembangan motorik kasar anak 4-5 tahun.

This type of research is quantitative research with quasi experiment type. In this research the sampling technique using saturated sampling technique. The sample in this research is the students of class IIIA and students of class IIIB at SDIT At-Taufiq Tangerang City. Instruments in this study using objective tests in short form. Based on the calculation using t-test, it is found that t-count > t-table (3,1> 2,011) at significant level α = 0,05. The average score in experimental class I using scramble method is 69.58 and the average score in experiment class II using word square method is 78.2. Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of using the educational play tool Box Baitullah on the understanding of the pilgrimage to Mecca among preschool-aged children. The research method used is a quasi-experimental quantitative approach with a one-group pretest-posttest design. The subjects in this study consisted of 10 preschool children who were treated using an educational play tool based on the pilgrimage. The data collection instrument consisted of five questions related to indicators of understanding the pilgrimage, which were given before and after the treatment. The results of the normality test showed that the data were normally distributed with a significance value of 0.463 (> 0.05). Subsequently, a paired sample t-test was conducted which indicated that all indicators showed a significant increase (Sig. < 0.05). Before the treatment, only 20% of the children developed as expected, while after the treatment it increased to 90%. This finding indicates that the educational play tool Box Baitullah is effective in enhancing the understanding of the pilgrimage and moral values in early childhood.

Abstract

Early Childhood Education (ECE) plays a crucial role in character development, including discipline. This research aims to explore how the application of rewards can improve discipline in children aged 5-6 years at TKQ Nurul Shobah , Tangerang. The research employs a qualitative approach with a case study design. Data collection was conducted through (1) direct observation of children's behavior during daily routine learning activities, (2) interviews with classroom teachers and the school principal to gain insights into reward strategies and their impact on children's character, and (3) documentation for supporting evidence. Data analysis was performed descriptively and qualitatively through steps including data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion formation. The provision of rewards in shaping disciplined character in early childhood, particularly for Group B, involved various strategies, including the use of rewards. Teachers awarded stars to children who arrived early and provided praise to those who listened to instructions. The results indicate that the consistent use of verbal rewards (praise) and non-verbal rewards (stickers, smiles) positively affects children's disciplined behavior, such as arriving on time, following instructions, and tidying up toys. The use of praise as a reward motivates children, making them enthusiastic and feel valued.
