Abstract

Objective: This study aims to present care with semi-Fowler's intervention as an effort to overcome shortness of breath in congestive heart failure patients with ineffective breathing patterns in the Kenanga Room, BLUD RSU Kota Banjar. Method: Descriptive analysis plus a case study technique make up the research design. Adult patients with congestive heart failure (CHF) and dysfunctional breathing patterns were the study's subjects. Interviews, observation, physical examinations, and documentation studies are a few of the methods of data collection. Result: The results of the case study at the assessment stage found that the client complained of shortness of breath. The intervention and implementation used to reduce shortness of breath is by giving the semi-Fowler's position by positioning the patient half-sitting or 45 degrees, while the shortness lasts. After the intervention, the client's breathing frequency decreased from 28 x/minute to 22 x/minute, while the subjective data from the anamnesis showed that the client's shortness of breath was reduced. Conclusion: The conclusion of nursing care in patients with congestive heart failure (CHF) with shortness of breath is well resolved. Intervention in the semi-fowler's position is effective in reducing respiratory frequency.

Abstract

Objective: This case study is to implement non-pharmacological therapy by administering melon fruit to reducing blood pressure in hypertensive patients. Method: This study uses descriptive analysis with a case study approach. This case study is to describe, objectively describe, and explore in-depth data regarding nursing care for hypertensive patients with ineffective family management problems in the Health UPTD Work Area of the Cikoneng Health Center. When conducting research, the authors also make observations at certain times in the form of assessments, nursing diagnoses, interventions, implementation, and evaluation. Providing non-pharmacological therapy to eat melons to reduce high blood pressure and respondents' adherence to eating melons The observation began after being given health education, which aimed to find out whether there was adherence to eating melons and whether there was a change in blood pressure or no change. This study was conducted on Mrs. C with hypertension in Colendra Hamlet, RT.13 RW.05, Sindangsari Village, Cikoneng District, Ciamis Regency, in the working area of the UPTD Cikoneng Health Center from March 31 to April 3, 2023, for 4 days of visit. Given the intervention and implementation of non-pharmacological therapy of melon fruit to reduce the patient's blood pressure. The implementation was given for 3 days, the patient's blood pressure gradually decreased from 160/100 MmHg to 150/90 MmHg, but had not yet reached normal levels. So that the action of giving melon fruit can be continued and applied in daily life independently. Conclusion: Giving non-pharmacological therapy giving melon fruit has proven to be useful for lowering blood pressure in hypertensive patients, the benefits of therapy will be maximized if done regularly and gradually.

Subjects in this case study were adult patients with congestive heart failure (CHF) and ineffective breathing patterns. Data collection techniques include interviews, observation, physical examination, and documentation studies. Result: The case study at the assessment stage found that the client complained of shortness of breath. The intervention and implementation used to reduce shortness of breath is by providing breathing relaxation exercises for 10 minutes when complaints of shortness of breath are felt. After the intervention, the client's breathing frequency decreased from 28 x/minute to 22 x/minute, while the subjective data from the anamnesis showed that the client's shortness of breath was reduced. Abstract

Introduction: Auditory hallucinations are a perceptual condition that causes sounds that do not actually exist to appear to be heard. One method for treating people with auditory hallucinations is one-way conversation therapy. Individual Conversation Therapy is a better alternative therapy for people who experience hallucinations because it provides more meaningful evaluation findings. Objective: Provide care and provide a thorough explanation regarding Individual Conversation Therapy therapy for reducing sensory perception disorders including auditory hallucinations. Method: This research uses a nursing care strategy, with a descriptive case study design, on Mr. R, 23 years old who experiences auditory hallucinations based on inclusion and exclusion criteria. The data collection process was carried out through interviews using Individual Conversation Therapy techniques, observation and documentation. Result: Based on the case study findings, the patient stated that he was able to improve his hallucinations during Individual Conversation Therapy treatment, indicating that the intervention was effective. Conclusion: The conclusion of nursing care for sufferers of sensory perception disorders (hearing) in patients with hallucinations, the implementation of Individual Conversation Therapy is recommended because the effect of this therapy can reduce hallucinatory sounds.
