Tujuan kegiatan Pengabdian kepada Masyarakat di Desa Baru Titi Besi ini adalah untuk merubah model penyuluhan tani tradisional menjadi penyuluhan kelompok tani terbatas guna meningkatkan produktivitas tanaman ubi kayu. Memberikan alternatif tambahan penghasilan melalui perubahan cara tanam ubi kayu di lahan yang sama. Metode pelaksanaan pengabdian masyarakat ini adalah pelatihan kepala rumah tangga dalam rangka pembinaan petani ke dalam kelompok terbatas dan pemberian teknologi baru kepada petani agar penanaman ubi kayu dapat diterapkan dengan baik. Pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini berisi beberapa tahapan kerja sebagai berikut: melaksanakan pendekatan kepada petani penanam dan pemilik lahan, penyuluhan kepada kelompok terbatas petani penanam, praktek penanaman bersama di lahan, pengevaluasian penerapan penyuluhan tani kelompok terbatas dan pola penenaman baru penanaman ubi kayu. Pelaksanaan Pengabdian kepada Masyarakat di desa Baru Titi Besi mengharuskan satu persatu pemilik lahan dan petani penggarap didatangi, selain itu dikunjungi juga pengajian wirid pekanan untuk menjadi tempat efektif sosialisasi dan undangan pelatihan. Hasil yang telah diperoleh terlihat dari efektivitas penelaksanaan pola penyuluhan tani kepada kelompok tani terbatas dan hasil tanam ubi kay yang lebih besar dibandingkan dengan pola tanam lama setelah dilihat hasilnya pada saat panen..

This research is intended as a reference for the learning system of social researchers in the Faculty of Social Sciences Political Science (FISIP), especially the Public Administration Study Program (IAP) so that they are better in learning. Monotonous conditions and the low arrest of students in important subjects such as the Social Research Method (MPS) make researchers interested in offering a new learning method by the name of a peer tutor who prefers activeness between smart students and those who are less smart to get together actively discuss and prepare course material offered. The results showed that the Peer Tutor learning method has succeeded in increasing student mastery to a better level if it cannot be said to be maximized through increasing student participation in learning and mastery of MPS material. This can be shown by the increased activity of students in terms of group work and discussions between groups conducted and the value of the pretest and posttest taken. Students have the spirit of dancing and perfecting the material given by lecturers, discussing preparing the best powerpoints, they also have the courage to ask and answer questions, discuss and work together with fellow group members to make powerpoints and present in front of the class. Increased mastery of MPS material can be seen from the ability to answer questions at the time of discussion and the acquisition of students' values before being given action after being given. The increase occurred also from cycle one to cycle two. In addition, these peer tutors provide activeness to students from preparing material in limited discussions in their respective groups and after getting the opportunity to present their work and help other groups defend their arguments in inter-group discussions. This method can be used as an alternative mastery of MPS material for future IAP students. Finally the researcher would like to thank all those who have helped with this research process.

This study aims to: 1) find out data and information related to the readiness of study programs that have been accredited A at the Muhammadiyah University of North Sumatra in order to participate in international accreditation; 2) to find out how to create and determine the readiness model of study programs that have been accredited A in following international accreditation at the Muhammadiyah University of North Sumatra; 3) to implement and improve the international accreditation preparation model for study programs that have been accredited A at the Muhammadiyah University of North Sumatra. The research method used is research and development using Borg and Gall. Borg and Gall applied only up to step 5 only. This is because the ultimate goal of this research is to apply the model that has been found. The 5 steps start from initial research, determining the model, implementing the model and improving the model. To find the condition and readiness of the study program used descriptive research methods with categorization analysis for the measuring instrument. The results of this study were analyzed to determine the model for implementing the study program's readiness to carry out international accreditation. The model formed will be applied to one study program. The results of this application will be used to improve the first model that has been formed and applied earlier. Through this research, a model for implementing international accreditation has been found for study programs that have been accredited A by BAN PT at UMSU. This model can be used as material for other study programs in carrying out international accreditation and can be imitated by study programs at other universities with the same desire. The output of this research is being worked on because the research process has just been completed.

Teaching Grant using mind mapping method is expected to be a reference in improving the learning system in public policy seminar courses in the Faculty of Political Science (FISIP), especially the State Administration Study Program (IAN). The low condition of mastery of the problem and the lack of ability to explain problems at the time of the seminar practice in this public policy seminar course made researchers interested in offering new learning methods with the name mind mapping that prioritizes images and signs for mapping research problems as well as can be used to help The student explained the research problem more clearly during the thesis proposal seminar. This study aims to assist students in finding research problems properly, improving students' ability in formulating problems and explaining problems in public policy seminars and ultimately expected to improve the quality of seminars and the quality of student answers in public policy seminars. The results showed that in the first cycle there was no significant development of the students involved so it was necessary to do a second cycle with the addition and improvement when training and making mind mapping and presentation. Finally in the second cycle, it can be seen that there are changes and improvements in the making of mind mapping and it can be seen that students find it easier to explain the research problem compared to mind mapping learning methods that can increase students' mastery of research problems and can facilitate them in explaining the problems at the seminar. Although the final achievement of the first cycle still shows confusion and low mastery of the mind mapping theory, in the second cycle there is a change in the mastery of theory and mind mapping (students realize that mind mapping cannot be done if they do not master the research problem correctly) so when explaining the problem of research in front of the class when the seminar practice takes place can be done better. In general, the use of mind mapping in public policy seminar courses is very useful and helps students in formulating research problems, making a research background, presenting a research background in the form of a power point containing mind mapping. And the most important thing is that mind mapping helps students in explaining the research problem at the time the seminar was held.

Voter participation in elections is one of the benchmarks of the success of political development. The high level of voter participation will indicate the success of the elections and the low voter participation will indicate the failure of the election. Therefore, it is necessary to increase the participation of the voters as the responsibility of the KPU. Therefore, the KPU makes an effort to increase voter participation by conducting election socialization in Langkat Regency. The socialization aims to provide and disseminate information on elections. The effort is certainly to increase voter participation in the election. From this research is done with the aim to know the role of Election Commission Langkat in order to increase voter participation. The method used in this research is descriptive research method with qualitative approach. Analysis of the whole data is done with summarize data that is selecting data, simplified, and taken the main meaning (essence). Based on measurement of effectiveness of election socialization such as; achievement of objectives, procedures, resources, budgets, facilities, infrastructure and integration or cooperation with other organizations. Generated that socialization of election conducted by Langkat Regency KPU not yet effective where achievement of objective, procedure, budget, infrastructure and integration not effective and utilization of resources and facilities running effectively. So the result of this research is the role of Election Commission Langkat in order to increase the voters have not been maximized. With low voter participation rate around 60% obtained by data processing KPU Langkat Regency.

The purpose of this research to: 1) to find out data and information related to the commitment of higher education institutions in preparing their study programs to carry out international accreditation; 2) to find out the readiness of the study program in taking international accreditation; 3) to find out to what extent the preparation of the OBE curriculum has been developed by the study programs that will be prepared to carry out international accreditation.The research method used is descriptive method with data collection techniques using qualitative methods through an indept question approach. This research was conducted by using categorization analysis as a conclusion technique. Through this research, it has been found that the study programs at private universities in Medan have not prepared themselves well in order to face international accreditation. This can be seen from the implementation of OBE in SPMI that has not been implemented, so that the development of the OBE curriculum is also neglected. The main reason is the lack of commitment from the leaders of each university. The existence of national issues related to ongoing government programs is a top priority from the rectorate to the head of the study program. All preparation steps for international accreditation and all OBE curriculum development activities have not received serious attention.

The Election Smart House was established as a political education learning center for the community in increasing voter participation in the Deli Serdang KPUD. This study uses research and development methods, to find the best model in carrying out political education at the Deli Serdang KPU, especially in the THE Election Smart House Program. Collecting data on political education carried out by the Deli Serdang KPUD Election Smart House and then reviewing and planning the development of the Deli Serdang KPUD Election Smart House program as a means of political education. The results of the study found that Deli Serdang KPUD had been trying to provide as a facilitator to expand political information and education and the election agenda as well as increase voter participation. The implementation of the Deli Serdang KPUD Election Smart House program is carried out by utilizing space from one building or special building to carry out all public education programs or activities. For the development of the Deli Serdang KPUD The Election Smart House program using methods, namely (1) through face-to-face in Election Smart House by receiving visits (2) providing visits (3) social utilization (4) involving religious leaders, youth leaders and women leaders (eg OKP and Youth Organizations). ) and (5) urge political parties to be directly involved in conducting political education activities for the community youth leaders and women leaders (eg OKP and Youth Organizations).

Pelatihan penerapan evaluasi program kerja ini dilaksanakan bertujuan untuk menjadikan Salimah Wilayah Sumut menjadi organisasi kemasyarakatan yang menerapkan evaluasi program kerja dengan lengkap dan tepat sehingga program kerjanya memiliki kemanfaatan lebih bagi pengembangan organisasi dan kebutuhan/kepentingan masyarakat. Metode yang dipakai dalam program kemitraan masyarakat (PKM) ini adalah berbentuk pelatihan. Pelatihan ini dibagi dalam 4 tahapan yaitu identifikasi masalah dan persiapan pelaksanaan pelatihan, pelaksanaan pelatihan penerpan evaluasi kerja, pendampingan praktek penerapan evaluasi kerja selama pelatihan dan setelah pelatihan, dan evaluasi hasil pelatihan kepada pemimpin Salimah. Hasil pelatihan penerapan evaluasi program kerja dirasakan oleh perserta bermanfaat dalam menambah wawasan dan keterampilan mereka dalam mengelola program kerja. Penggunaan metode evaluasi yang tepat dalam menangani permasalahan penerapan program kerja keorganisasian dan kemasyarakatan menjadi hal baru dan diterapkan oleh departemen yang ada di Salimah. Ditemukan selama ini program kerja yang ada tidak dievaluasi apakah sudah sesuai visi, misi, tujuan dan sasarannya tercapai apa tidak dan tidak dianalisis outcome nya dan manfaatnya buat masyarakat.
