Abstract

Desa Pabuaran di Kampung Pasir Koyon dikenal dengan kebun subur yang menghasilkan singkong berkualitas tinggi, yang digunakan untuk memproduksi Enyek, makanan tradisional lokal. Meskipun ada potensi besar, 15 UMKM pengelola Enyek menghadapi tantangan dalam hal pengemasan produk dan persaingan dengan produk lokal lainnya. Untuk mengatasi masalah ini, kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat dilakukan dengan tujuan utama untuk mengembangkan UMKM Enyek melalui pemasaran digital dan perbaikan desain kemasan. Metode yang diterapkan mencakup pelatihan pemasaran digital, penggunaan media sosial, serta pembuatan desain kemasan yang lebih menarik dan modern. Hasil dari pengabdian ini menunjukkan peningkatan yang signifikan dalam pemasaran produk Enyek, dengan terbukanya akses yang lebih luas melalui platform jual beli online. Selain itu, desain kemasan yang baru berhasil menarik perhatian konsumen lebih banyak dan meningkatkan daya saing di pasar yang kompetitif. Pengabdian ini berhasil meningkatkan visibilitas produk dan penjualan Enyek, sehingga menambah pendapatan bagi UMKM setempat.

Abstract

The phenomenon of female succession to the throne in the Yogyakarta Sultanate raises important issues regarding the legitimacy of power, patriarchal traditions, and socio-cultural change within the Javanese royal context. This research problem stems from the tension between traditional Mataram Islamic values, which place male leadership as the norm, and the emerging opportunities for women to occupy top positions within the palace structure. Previous studies have shown that discourses about women in Javanese culture are often associated with myths, sacred symbols, and ambivalent gender constructions, thus opening up space for debate regarding their position in traditional politics. This research uses qualitative interpretive methods combining observation, in-depth interviews, and literature review. The findings indicate that female succession to the throne is not simply an internal political phenomenon but is also closely related to myths that shape public perception, both as a symbol of power and a source of controversy. Furthermore, this process challenges the dominance of the patriarchal system and encourages a reinterpretation of Javanese cultural values. The study's conclusion confirms that women's involvement in succession to the throne reflects historical, political, and cultural dynamics and marks a significant shift in the socio-economic structure of the Yogyakarta Sultanate, both in the present and for its future development.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the Sabda and Dawuh issued by Hamengkubuwono X, the monarch of the Yogyakarta Sultanate, regarding the appointment of the crown princess using the social judgment theory. A quantitative approach is employed to understand the community’s perceptions and actions towards these messages, exploring how the people of Yogyakarta interpret and respond to them by considering attitude perception, polarization, and acceptance latitude. This provides a deeper understanding of how these messages are received within the cultural and social context of Yogyakarta. The addition of Action to the Social Judgment Theory in researching Hamengkubuwono X ‘s Sabda and Dawuh regarding the appointment of the crown princess can involve examining the behavior or actions of the Yogyakarta community in response to the Sultan’s message. Over time, society realizes that Sabda and Dawuh can undergo shifts in their context. Social, cultural, and political changes that occur over time can influence the interpretation and application of Sabda and Dawuh from leaders or spiritual figures.Keywords: Social judgment, sabda, dawuh, crown princessABSTRAKStudi ini bertujuan menganalisis menggunakan social judgment theory terkait dengan Sabda dan Dawuh yang dikeluarkan oleh Hamengkubuwono X, Sultan di Kesultanan Yogyakarta, tentang pengangkatan puteri mahkota. Pendekatan kuantitatif digunakan dalam penelitian ini untuk memperoleh pemahaman yang menyeluruh tentang persepsi dan tindakan masyarakat terhadap Sabda dan Dawuh. Terlihat bagaimana masyarakat Yogyakarta menafsirkan dan menyikapi Sabda dan Dawuh Sultan tentang pengangkatan puteri mahkota dengan mempertimbangkan persepsi sikap, polaritas sikap dan zona akseptansi. Hal ini dapat memberikan pemahaman yang lebih kaya tentang bagaimana pesan-pesan tersebut dipahami dan diterima dalam konteks budaya dan sosial masyarakat Yogyakarta. Jika action ditambahkan ke dalam Social Judgment Theory sebagai kebaruan dalam penelitian sabda dan dawuh Hamengkubuwono X tentang pengangkatan puteri mahkota, maka dapat melibatkan aspek perilaku atau tindakan yang dilakukan oleh masyarakat Yogyakarta sebagai respons terhadap pesan Sultan. Seiring perkembangan zaman, masyarakat menyadari bahwa Sabda dan Dawuh dapat mengalami pergeseran dalam konteksnya. Perubahan sosial, budaya, dan politik yang terjadi seiring waktu dapat mempengaruhi interpretasi dan penerapan sabda dan dawuh dari pemimpin atau tokoh spiritual.Kata Kunci: Penilaian, sabda, dawuh, puteri mahkota

Abstract

Komunikasi publik yang dilakukan Pemerintah Kota Cilegon diharapkan dapat memberikan pemahaman dan melindungi masyarakat Cilegon dari wabah virus corona yang telah membuat Kota Cilegon dua kali masuk status zona merah. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan metode penelitian studi kasus yang berfokus pada komunikasi publik pemerintah Kota Cilegon dalam mengedukasi masyarakat pada masa pandemi COVID-19. Penelitian ini berusaha untuk menemukan strategi komunikasi publik pemerintah Kota Cilegon selama masa pandemi COVID-19, dengan melihat bagaimana permasalahan komunikasi publik yang dilakukan Walikota Cilegon selaku pengambil kebijakan dan komunikator di daerah. Hasil penelitian ini, pemerintah Kota Cilegon melakukan komunikasi publik dengan: mengeluarkan peraturan walikota tentang pencegahan COVID-19, selain itu pemerintah Kota Cilegon melakukan sosialisasi tentang disiplin hidup sehat kepada masyarakat, dan mengubah kebiasaan masyarakat untuk tetap memakai masker, menjaga jarak, dan mencuci tangan. Adapun rekomendasi untuk Pemerintah Kota Cilegon agar melakukan komunikasi publik lebih masif lagi dengan memanfaatkan berbagai media dalam memaksimalkan jargon “Aje Kendor”.

Abstract

This study examines the role of communication in the traditional leadership of the Yogyakarta Sultanate, focusing on the dimensions of power and social influence. The context of the study is Sultan Hamengku Buwono X's communication practices in maintaining symbolic and political legitimacy through cultural rituals, as well as the Sabda and Dawuh (Islamic Proclamation). A phenomenological approach and a critical paradigm were used in this study. Data were collected through in-depth interviews, direct observation, and document analysis, such as the Sabda and Dawuh Raja (Islamic Proclamation) column in print and electronic media. The findings indicate that: (1) traditional communication through customary rituals and direct Sabda serves as a powerful mechanism for legitimizing vertical power; (2) the communication structure within the palace is generally top-down; (3) there are elements of symbolic dialogue between the Sultan and the community, reflecting a traditional democratic communication style with low dominance and high sociability. Communication in the leadership of the Yogyakarta Sultanate serves a dual function: establishing symbolic and socio-cultural legitimacy; and simultaneously creating profound social influence through symbolism and inherited cultural values. This study suggests further exploration of the influence of modern digital communication and the role of the younger generation in developing traditional power dialogue in Yogyakarta.

Abstract

This study focuses on the influence of the intensity of the frequency of the audience watching the news that contain violence. The number of television stations that broadcast news of the violence repeatedly affect children's behavior in everyday life.Booming charge news this violence resulted in all the mainstream media are vying for presenting the news of violence and neglect the effects of what is broadcast.News show as a phenomenon and a momentum to reach the audience as much as possible for television stations. Construction purposes in many television news reality changing audience behavior, since television emerged as a second mother who where viewers can learn a lot through television broadcasts.Cultivation perspective analysis is an analysis that starts from the messaging system to identify patterns of permanent, continuous, overaching of content in television. The division of light viewer, media viewer, and the viewer heavy intensity measured from the time of respondents watching television, the most important thing there is a frequency difference between the intensity of the respondents watch.By using a cultivation perspective on this assessment reveal the intensity of the frequency of watching news of violence can effect/specific impact for the audience

Abstract

Commodification is the process of transforming use value into exchange value. The soap opera Si Doel Anak Sekolahan is the result of efforts to change from a use value that can entertain into an exchange value that brings financial benefits. These shows attract a large audience, which attractive to advertisers in various ways. This show is repeated every year from 2011 to 2023. This research uses a critical perspective by looking at the political economy of media. The concept of content commodification offered by Vincent Mosco became the scalpel for this research. Data for this study comes from the main source, namely the soap opera "Si Doel Anak Sekolahan" on RCTI. Meanwhile, additional data such as observations and documentation were obtained from literature studies, literature and internet searches. The results of research show that the soap opera drama series Si Doel Anak Sekolahan contains content commodification in the form of advertisements in the form of billboards, there are also advertisements in the form of squeeze frames. Media institutions have the power determine what programs will be made into new commodities on the television. Every program produced by media institution is a marriage between the economic system and the political system.

Abstract

The population density in Serang town has a control the narrowing agricultural. This was the start the concept of slim land farming as food security. the ladies Farmers cluster (KWT) is an alternate thanks to strengthen food security, particularly throughout the Covid-19 amount that occurred in 2020. This analysis can describe the method of its formation through communication actions. 1) however did KWT Annisa amendment ancient farming designs into fashionable ones?; 2) what's role individual vocals in farmer groups?. The idea of communication is that the basis for knowing act of communication. Case studies square measure used as a technique during this analysis. Interviews, observations, and agricultural land information from the Central Statistics Banten became the sources for this analysis. The ultimate analysis shows the results of vocal opinion leaders being the middle that's ready to encourage the utilization of slim land.
